Hey, guys I've been recently pointed to your podcast ever since I heard about the Vic Mignogna interview on ANN and have been listening ever since.

Anyway my question is about Zach's favorite topic, the possible timeskip. With Ace's death and Whitebeard's probable death, I think a timeskip will happen of maybe a year or more because of the death of Ace signaling the end of the Great Pirate Era and Roger's bloodline and a shift in the balance of power to the World Government. AND Oda's message to the fans in the "Strong World Chapter 0" release about the movie being Luffy's last adventure as a 17-year old.

Do you guys just not think a long timeskip will happen, or do you just not like the idea of a long timeskip?

With the number of Shichibukai turning their backs on the Marines and World Government (ie Jimbei, Blackbeard, Boa Hancock), do you expect a new group of Shichibukai in the near future? I personally think it would be a good idea, especially since the series has a long way to go

Do you agree with Oda that the straw hats shouldn't kill anyone?

I don't see the straw hats as heroes so if they need to kill for their dreams I can get over it.

Was Sengoku's Buddha form confirmed as a Devil Fruit power, or is it somekind of other weird ability like Kumadori's Life Return ability?
I know it hasn't been stated outright, but I was hoping maybe in the original RAW Kanji from the manga it saids Devil fruit power or such.

Hi guys! Sorry if you've already answered any of these questions, I haven't gotten a chance to listen to every episode yet. Anyway, here's my questions:

Do you think that Ace's death will have any lasting effect on Luffy's character? He's never thought things through very well, but that's been getting him into a lot of trouble lately. I love Luffy how he is, but I can't help but think that he'll have to change somehow to survive the New World.

How long do you think that Oda has been planning Ace's death, and how much build-up do you think it's had? I was wondering whether Oda had characters like Pell and Pagaya survive things that should have killed them to give us a false sense of security. I might be reading into this too much, but Oda is a genius, so I wouldn't be surprised if he'd planned it that much.

Which character do you think each member of the podcast is most like?

And lastly, just out of curiosity, how many listeners do you get from Australia?

I'm trying to get someone into One Piece but he said that the whole premises(not sure if this right word to use) of One Piece is stupid to him considering that he not a anime fan but he say that he liked HunterxHunter, Dragonball, School Rumble, Naruto and Welcome to N.H.K. Oh lord…

Teach's plan to become shichibukai...good grief, well it worked. Blackbeard is a damn coward. "You wouldn't kill your son would you?" Oh I wanted to KILL blackbeard right there when he said that. And Lafitte opened the gate huh? I guess that answers that question. I guess with his new hypnosis powers he becomes a good opponent for Brook since Brook can put people to sleep with his music, and they both have top hats and canes.

And The Will of D, why Ohara was wiped out, the culture that was lost in the void century, and the World Government and its emergence after the void centry, the Rio Poneglyph, One Piece...its all freaking connected!!!! Oh Robin has alot to look forward to putting the pieces together.

And also we know this now. When Luffy finds One Piece, it will NOT BE THE END OF THE STORY. From what I can gather from the chapter, the person who finds One Piece will lead a huge group into an even bigger war than this. And speaking of Raftel, could that island be what's left of the lost culture destroyed by the WG?

Alright, I've got kind of a loaded question so just bare with me for a second. I tweeted last week (AfroKola) asking if you guys thought a giant would join Luffy's crew but was asked for some more detail. I thought about it some more and I've come to the conclusion that not only will Luffy get a giant to join his crew, but it just makes perfect sense. Since Oda drew a lot from old Viking cartoons, I don't think it's too far out of the question that a Viking would join the Straw Hat Gang; but in the form of a young giant. I'm thinking someone along the lines of Chopper's age weilding a battleaxe. Think mini-Oimo.

I know this is all speculation on my part but with that, what do you guys think? And would said little giant battle San Jaun or am I totally off my rocker here? On a side note, who else thinks that Sanji versus Pazzaro would be totally badass?

Based on the way Jinbei and Ace were talking in the flash back do you think there's a greater chance of Jinbei joining? Also do you think that in the future the other super novas will become allies with the Straw hats?

Blackbeard's power may not be just to negate devil fruit powers, but absorb them. However, maybe he can do this only when the person with the ability is dead.
Whitebeard ate the Gura Gura fruit, so the power is within him, and BB somehow siphoned the ability out of him once his body was void of life.
Or maybe it's something totally different, since BB, a guy who likes to showoff a lot, hide what he was doing underneath a cloak?

Is he hiding something?
Has Oda created a loophole?

I wanted to point out something that I found funny and interesting. If Whitebeard was 72 when he died, then that makes Brook about 16 when he was born (I think). I have got a great mental image of Teenage Brook and Baby Whitebeard, it would have been interesting if the two had ever met back in the day.

Oh, and totally stoked about your possible OPP panel at AX. I go every year and would love see it~!

I've considered getting a tattoo of the WB jolly roger on my back, but I'm gonna wait a few more years to see if I"m still a die hard One Piece fan. So I was wondering if any of the Podcast staff have considered getting a "One Piece" tattoo? (a cool idea for Eneru fans would be the drums with the tomoe tattooed on the upper back)
