@Captain:
This is to be expected from a regular shonen. But, there's also things of basic logic that many anime/ mangas follow. The most accurate is pokemon, hate to use that as an example but even that follows the basic logic of elements basic strengths and weaknesses. During past arcs Oda has followed this logic, for example the Skypeia arc where Luffy fought Enel. It was Rubber vs. Lightning. None of Enel basic elemental attacks worked against Luffy. Time and time again Oda has followed this logic and has stayed consistent through-out most of the manga. So to bring up some simple "sword chopping ships in half, people sinking islands" (can't remember exactly when people sink islands, care to jog my memory?!:wassat:) is quite funny because it's a poor example of the type of logic I'm speaking of.
soon an island will be sunk gurararara, but yeah, enel nearly destroy an island, i understand where you were coming from, i just find it funny that logic came into a manga with super powers, i see it as more like they follow the law of nature in manga instead of logic.
In saying so, Fire can get hotter then lava, it does not mean that at this point Ace fire is strong enough for Akainu's lava. Not taking a piss at ya mate, just normally expressing my opinion
edit: just saw your post up top, not trying to jab at you some more with my post, i just saw it after i post mine ahahahah peace out
