I really think the Will of D has something to do with Shiki losing to Roger, luffy is a prime example, he gets out of impossible jams somehow every single time by luck….or what we think is luck.
And judging by just this chapter 0, it seems that Roger and Luffy have extremely similar personalities.
That's a great question. But before we consider their strength, who knows for certain whether or not the storm was just 'luck'.
I seem to recall another character on the verge of death who was also saved by a storm.

Now since the narrator tells us this information, it's tough to think they would lie to us, but if there was something else involved, they haven't lied as so much told a half truth.
Now lets consider that Shiki's massive crew wasn't set upon by a storm.
Shiki, although a bit insane, seems to fight with some form of honor if not simply respect for strength (strong world?) I wonder if even WITHOUT the storm, whether he would have unleashed his full power if he lost directly to Roger.

For Dragon to end up being just a regular guy.
I don't think Oda would do it because it would be betraying fans he's strung along with his hints over the years but it would be awesome for him to make this gigantic Wind Human ruse only to just let it come down to Luffy being a lucky guy and Dragon just happening to like the wind.

When you say regular guy, what do you mean? Do you mean as in not having a DF? Because we already know he's the Leader of the Revolutionary Army, the son of Garp, and the father of Luffy; that's far from being a "regular guy".

Yasopp passed his skill down to usopp and usopp is pretty weak compared to his father who is a member of one the top crews in the world . So power is genetic

I think what NANLIT is trying to say is that even by reputation, despite not having a Devil's Fruit, Dragon would not be "normal," in other words a normal Dragon is like an oxymoron.
Dragon is just a regular guy… with the Luck Luck Devil Fruit, so he's bloody lucky.

So Shiki says "You're from East Blue, right?" to Nami at one point in the trailer. In the Chapter 0 Bellemere makes an appearance saying that if Shiki comes to East Blue she'll kick his ass. Could that have something to do with why Nami leaves the crew?

SO FUCKING ANGRY right now…. was going to buy jump 53 which had this chap, vol 56 and the first color walk on Sasuga. BUT, all of a sudden, when vol 56 finally came out on the website, the fucking jump volume disappeared. didnt even say it was sold out, it just fucking disappeared out of NOWHERE.
