Right now I really want to see a T-Bone ministory, because it'd be a shame for a potentially great character like that to go to waste. It'd be the best thing ever if he teamed up with Jerry and became undercover detectives.

I really like this Title story with Miss Goldenweek and Mr 5 pair, becasue now we see other characters as well.. Like Mr 2, Mr 3, jango, Fullbody and Hina. And before it was the same thing but with the labasta characters.. I hope the next one will involve Masira and his friends or the people at Skypea.. And a Foxy story would be great too.

I'd love to see an Arlong Park followup. Most of the fishmen weren't killed (if any were) in the building collapse, and I suspect that the local military wasn't too keen about trying to round them up (both because of the potential for bribery, and the potential ass-kickings), so it wouldn't half surprise me if there's now a little straw hut with a sign that says Hatchan Park in the middle of the ruins. :D

We know there was at least one nameless gyojin left by the time Luffy actually fights Arlong (he gets used as a shield), plus all the "main" ones.

The very first character we so Luffy befreid (forgot his name) .. the dude who wanted to be a Marine. I know their die story has been done before, but i want to know if he and the son of the Marine who had captivated Zoro at the very first episodes or chapters have grown any stronger. I mean since they were under an Adimral (i think ..unless i'm mistaken) or some highly official dude of the army (the dude with the dog mask).

well i think one of the wanted to be an architect and another wanted to be an innkeeper dont remember the last one thougt maybe it was a writer :unsure:
but still we cant see their dreams coming true anytime soon since everyone keeps telling me there hasnt even passed a year of onepiece time(something i have a hard time beliving <_< ) and they would have to grow up in ordet for them to complete their dreams.

i would like to c a side story of pauly… i would like to c his connection with ice-burg as he seems to be the most connected with iceburg. just like seeing how franky became a carpenter etc. i think it would b quite interesting to c wats his side of the story :blink:

Hmmmm, I agree partially. I mean, it should connect to the main story but not something Impel Down involved. That's why I'm saying DBF2 because that will all incoperate into the story in the future, probably most notable when the new bounty head posters go out.

Well, we've seen a couple of the side stories reconnect back into the main storyline - I'm especially thinking this will happen with the BW story because Hina was in it, and the Straw Hats haven't had an actual battle with her yet so. . .
Aside from most of the "redemtion" stories (i.e. Hatchi, Wapol, ect.) we're going to see some of the other side stories feed back into the main storyline, even if it's just the return of that character. Ace is DEFINITELY coming back at some point, for example.
What makes me think that the BW story will feed back into the main story is that Croc, Das Bones, Mr. 2 and Mr. 3 are WAY too close in proximity. Even if it's just a cameo, there's gotta be a reason Oda put in that story now.

I like the idea of another DBF fight between Buggy and Foxy….especially considering the fact that Buggy would almost certainly win (let's face it, as cool as Foxy is, Buggy is way smarter and his DF let's him dodge the noro noro beam....)
Foxy and Buggy on the same ship would be a sight to see, a sight to see indeed.

Remember, Smoker had a message he gave Aokiji for Luffy but the Blue Pheasant never gave the message because he thought it was silly.

The entire time I though that we might get a T-Bone story but then I just realized that T-Bone is to close to the current arc which actually is something that never happens with these side stories.
These side stories mostly follow a chronologic order. Ok the most recent one was actually a Arabasta character side story that came after a Skypiea character side story but that most probably was because the very last page of the Goldenweek where Impel Down gets mentioned would have made absolutely no sense (or at least not that much of an impact) if it would have been placed somewhere where Impel Down didn´t even get mentioned in the main story. So that´s why Gedatsu came before Goldenweek.
But to get back to the point now actually. If not such a thing as the thing discribed in the previous paragraph is planned for the next side story, then the next character after the Skypiea character should be a Longring Longland character and this leaves the option for either a Tonjit adventure or a Foxy adventure. Both are actually quite good candidates for a side story and I would actually like to see any of them before anybody from Water 7, the Sea Train Battle Game or Enies Lobby. But then again, it´s up for Oda to decide. Starting at chapter 423 we should know for what he decided. ;)

Before launching a new side story Oda always gives those animal flavoured covers for every crew member, one at the time. Plus a colour spread or two. Given Oda is already done with four crew members, I think, and there are three more to go (or possibly four if Franky gets one), with up coming colour spread(s) the side story kicks in around +423.

Yep Yoska got it covered already. Additional to that I might say that I think it got confirmed that ch. 422 is going to have a color spread again. If that is the case then 421 is most probably going to be the last character specific animal themed cover. And of course it means there´s no space for Franky.
So if my calculations are correct then the next cover story is supposed to take place after the color spread chapter. That is of course if Oda doesn´t plan to do a character specific animal themed cover for the new crewmeber as an extra after the color spread. Possible but unlikely. My guess is that the next story starts at 423.

Hah. I just thought how cool it'd be if Franky gets a cover the chapter he officially joins (if infact he does).
As for the topic at hand. Aside from Foxy v. Buggy, I guess it could be interesting to see some weird twists within that story, like maybe Foxy's crew finds Bellemy or Nero or something.

Here's my list of characters that deserve a side story!
1. Foxy: Hell, it's most likely gonna happen. Foxy has side story written all over him. And Buggy would make it all the sweeter.
2. T-Bone: Zoro openly respected the man. And his visage would make for some interesting encounters…
3. Johnny and Yosaku: These guys need to show their mugs again! It's been like 300 chapters! And they're quite wacky.
4. Mohmoo: What has this sea cow been up to? I want to know! Maybe we could get a glimpse into the lives of sea kings.
5. Hattori and Funkfried: Wouldn't it be funny if these two were the only things to survive the Buster Call? Then they go out to sea to start an all animal crew! I would love to see the rest of CP9 as well.

Yeah, though I doubt that those two guys are going to get one Johnny and Yosaku are side story material. There actually never was any better fitting characters for that then those two.
But maybe Oda is holding them off because he wants them to meet many different people of the OP world which means he´s waiting until he introduced even more characters.
Well be it how it is, I´m totally sure that before One Piece ends we will get a Johnny and Yosaku side story.
