I didn't know where to ask this, so I decided to ask this question here.

I've been thinking recently about starting to collect Rave(Rave Master, Groove Adventure Rave) volumes. But I just saw that they didn't release all of them.

Are all the volumes ever going to be released? If so, by when? And is it worth it(meaning is it a good series)?

Thanks in advance, and sorry if this wasn't the right place for this question. I figured it would be because Fairy Tail is by the same author.

Well I realy don't know about that but if they have released volumes covering the 80's and 90's chapters , get them cause the scans are so damn small .

Only three volumes haven't been released before the license was taking away from TokyoPop and Del Rey has licensed them. They plan to release them in one book sometime by the end of this year.

Oh you're quite welcome. Just in case you're wondering its going to be released December 28th along with Fairy Tail volume 13 so you have plenty of time.

@Gepetto: I haven't done that before, but I have pulled a Kubo quite a few times before when I was younger because I would draw the story right on the paper.

You can never accidentally foreshadow. Foreshadowing is purposely giving hints to the readers, subtle or not. It's always planned, not done accidentally.

If you just start writing a story and make up things along the way, that's just making stuff up along the way. It is until you get organized and start connecting plot points to the further planned points and start hinting at further plot points with little or big things. But if you're still making things up along the way and then look back earlier in the story and the further point of the story talks or refers about that earlier point, that's just continuity because it just shows that it happened in the characters timeline and they remember it.

When you say this said point further in the story touches back to something in the beginning that has absolutely no way of foreshadowing the further point, that's ass pulling.

Mainly, when you do something such as making things on the way and say that future point [A] connects with the past point [C] which has never foreshadowed said future point, it's an Ass pull.

Eh.. This would have been an EXCELENT chapter, if there was at least some set up, if we got to know the queen, if phanter and coco's relation was developed, if the rapist atempts of Gazielle to get ~~pussy~~ lilly were explained (and not crazy funny as we take them).

As it stands now, it's a terrible chapter. If oda had pulled this shit I would have ignored and continued reading, knowing his proficency with flashbacks. Mashima… eh.

True. Afterall he has done, an ecchi manga is more suitable for him. You don't need much writing skills to run one.

I actually thought this was a halfway decent chapter. Certainly not something I expected.

Now granted if it were told with Oda's level of storytelling and foreshadowing then it would have been 100x more awesome, but I'll give Mashima credit for adding some twists. I agree that the cat queen's face was creepy though.

The "stop it with my sooouuull!" part was just unintended hilarity though. That's a line for Soul Eater, not Fairy Tail.

I actually didn't mind this chapter; it was decent in it's own right.

Fairy Tail does it's usual cliche shounen "save the world" thing,
the Cats are arrogant because they believe they are superior,
the Queen turns out to be useless as everyone else,
the Exceed shit themselves and can't believe it,
a shitty explanation for the Exceed-Human relationship is stated,
the Queen begs for forgiveness, Wendy screams like a little girl, and Charle seems to be the only one there with any balls and says the cliche shounen "I'm never gonna give up mother fucker" bit.

By now, I've come to accept (1), since it's a staple for any shounen manga; it's stupid and repetitive, but at least Gazille is there to make it bearable.

I especially liked (2), (3), and (4), since they actually relate to history. The arrogance of the Exceed reflects that of Japan, Germany and Italy, when they thought they were the shit and everyone else was just shit. The Queen being useless as everyone else, and the reaction of the populace pretty much parallels Hirohito's speech of the Japanese Imperial family being like everyone else, and not associated with godhood, etc.

(5) could've dedicated a few chapters to the topic, but Mishima is known to not capitalize on key moments, so, w/e. (6) kinda happened too fast; the Queen didn't seem sincere, Wendy's kinda annoying, and I was actually hoping that Charle would stab the Queen. It was pretty much one of those cliche "I feel so bad, I fucked up and now we're all going to die. I could've told you earlier, and I could've prevented this from happening, but I'm stupid. You can kill me if it makes you feel better, but it doesn't really make a difference since you'll probably die soon as well." moments.

The queen is Charle's mother, they do have the same traits. Charle also said she was the queen's daughter to fool edoerza, but it's true in fact.

Not a bad chapter overall for me. The end was a tad meh, and I'm not a fan of the queen's design. Anything with Gajeel in it is awesome though, so this chapter gets a B because of that. Otherwise it'd be a C.

Honestly that panel should of been drawn with the face in it than it wouldn't look like the focus was someplace else…..this is more disturbing than the intro of howard the duck shudders

I have to agree. Boobs + cats = big turn off.

Well it's possible he has some sort of boob fetish (beyond a typical man's boob fetish) and he likes putting them on animals. But I could be reading into it too much. xD

And boy this "we pretended to be strong and everyone believed it" crap seems very unplausible , even given then queen's abilities .

First part of chapter was meh , because all it was was pushing and hero speach .

Second part was horrible because of all the cats .

i liked the chapter. kind of neat hearing that the cats basically being all arrogent and "gods" is actually just something they had slowly made up over time to protect themselves from the more powerful humans.
