BREAKING NEWS: Jeff Hardy arrested!
Wow Kurt Angle gets arrested for alleged stalking
Christopher Daniels gets arrested for Drunk Driving
Now Jeff Hardy for this.
facepalms DAMMIT, Jeff….
In other more personal news, my laptop died, along with the references for my Toronto RAW signs, so they likely won't be done now. Kinda ticked by that. D<
Jericho and Storm made some comments about the situation.
I pretty much agree with Jericho on this situation. I'm still going to be a loyal Jeff Hardy fan ether way.
Can't believe the lame finish to Punk vs Taker. Awful.
Anyone hear Punks Promo?
I did not expect WWE to actually use the situation in a storyline,
My opinion"
m 50/50 on this
i read about the promo and really now:
I can understand building up heat for Punk by mentioning this..but the other 50% is bascially
why would WWE want to mention this..despite the media sending different stories left and right about this ?
SO im confused(probably the only one confused about this)
but WWE is known at times to bring the real life into the show..i think
I think its in poor taste to use someone who is no longer employed by the company in segments.
The taker vs punk is not over…punk will deifnately die in HITC
So Garica's done with WWE already?
I wonder who's her replacement.
O.O ok…this is very cool if it happens
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE have had talks with hall of famer Bret "Hitman" Hart about doing some business. Apparently talks started when Vickie Guerrero gave notice, and explains in part why WWE use the Montreal screwjob finish at Breaking Point. At this point, nothing has been agreed to, but the idea pitched is for Hart to return to WWE as a weekly storyline character.

Bret could end up being the GM of Smackdown, which be pretty awesome in my opinion.

American singer and actress Lauren Mayhew debuted as the new ring announcer for World Wrestling Entertainment at last night's SmackDown taping in Tulsa, Oklahoma, replacing Lilian Garcia.
According to her profile over at IMDB, she has a lot of TV experience, working on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, American Dreams and The Guiding Light. She has a musical background as well, so expect her to sing for WWE.
For more information on Mayhew, visit her official website at www.laurenmayhew.com.
Definitely pumped up for Bret's return to WWE.

As reported yesterday, WWE Hall of Famer "Rowdy" Roddy Piper was recently forced to pull out of a number of previously scheduled appearances as a result of a serious illness. In a sad update on the situation, I can confirm that his cancer has returned. However, this time it's believed to be terminal as he's not expected to live much longer.
According to a well-placed source within World Wrestling Entertainment, Vince McMahon has informed creative to prepare to scrap a segment or two for next week's Raw as he is planning on running a few video tributes honoring the wrestling legend — just in case.
Piper, 55, was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in November 2006 after doctors found a cancerous tumor on a disc in his spine. Back discomfort had forced Piper to leave WWE's tour of Europe and return to North America in order to undergo surgery. In the weeks that followed, Piper spent the majority of his time in a local hospital, undergoing extensive radiation treatment in hopes of vanquishing the cancer that had invaded his body. While the cancer would eventually disappear, as noted, it recently returned

RUMOR KILLER: from PWinsider.com:
By Mike Johnson
on 2009-10-07 15:16:50In regard to reports floating around that WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, they are 100% untrue. In speaking with one of Piper's representatives today, I was told that while Piper has taken time off for health-related issues after wrapping his most recent film, he is not dying and was not diagnosed at that time with being terminally ill from cancer.
I was told Piper was advised by his doctors to take a break from his work schedule to recover from some health issues and is doing so.
An official statement from Piper's representatives may be forthcoming, but in any event, no, Piper is not terminal with cancer.
All that said, do keep Piper in your thoughts as he deals with his health issues.
So it sounds like Roddy's current health may have been over exaggerated. At least, I'm hoping. I have such love for The Rowdy One, it'd be heartbreaking.

Sweet, good news. I was hoping it was bogus. Thanks for the update.
Some Jeff Hardy news.
Jeff Hardy may have finished with wrestling for the time being, but he hasn't finished with the business side of wrestling, as Jeff, with the blessing of his brother Matt, is looking to reopen their old promotion, the Organization of Modern Extreme Grappling Arts, aka OMEGA. The promotion, which opened in 1997 and closed after Jeff and Matt joined WWE full-time in 1999, launched the careers of both Hardys in addition to Amy "Lita" Dumas, Steve Corino, Hurricane Helms, Shannon More, Joey Abs, and Joey "Mercury" Matthews. It's unknown how long Hardy has wanted to reopen the promotion for, but expect it to happen by the end of the year. It should be interesting to see who Jeff gets to wrestle for OMEGA. Shannon Moore seems to be a shoe-in, being a real-life best friend of both Hardys. OMEGA ran out of the Hardys' homestate of North Carolina, but with Jeff's now larger-than-life status in the wrestling business, there's a possibility that the promotion will be bigger than ever. source: PWInsider

that sounds cool.

Shane McMahon Resigns
It is with great sadness that I announce my resignation from the WWE, effective January 1, 2010. I have never even considered a future outside the walls of the WWE. However, sometimes life takes an unexpected turn and while it is the most difficult decision I have ever made, it is time for me to move on. First and foremost, I would like to thank my father for the incredible education working with him has provided and for giving me the opportunity to play a role in building WWE into the global phenomenon that it is today. I am extremely proud to have been the 4th generation in this business, and I am grateful for everyday I was able to work along side not only my own, but the entire WWE family. Thank you to all of the WWE Superstars both past and present for your passion, pride and dedication. You are truly the engine of the organization and it has been a pleasure to work with, learn from and get to know all of you. Thank you for the privilege of sharing the stage with you and for allowing me to become but a momentary member of your elite brotherhood. I have so much appreciation for the many sacrifices you endure, both physically and personally, to make this business the success that it is. The respect I have for each of you is immeasurable. Finally, there are no words to express my gratitude to WWE fans the world over for supporting this company through good times and bad and for your unbridled passion that fuels the Superstars’ performances. I am profoundly grateful to have been able to entertain you both in front of the camera and from behind the scenes. You are the greatest fans in the world. I will always love this business and will remain a fan forever. Shane
I guess when and if ever Vince steps down that means Stephanie will replace him….more Triple H title reigns coming down the turn pike.
Wow, I don't have any other words to describe.
Went over my friends house today, who recently got WWE 24/7. All I can amazing stuff, because early tonight we watch WCW Halloween Havoc 98 (which in many opinions was the start of the downfall of WCW, it was a great PPV aside from the Hogan and Warrior match), and we watch an episode of Prime Time Wrestling. And Damn, Prime Time is still funnier then hell, just as I remember as a kid from 20 some years ago.
Yeah.. I saw Nitro and Havoc was surprised at how many NWO members there were 11 years ago
Im watching the SNME Halloween show…what happened to wrestling back then?
I did see MNR last night and the whole dumpster incident act shocked me
now the Kane film is added to the listings.
this is worth the 6.99 a month:ninja:
Huh, pretty impressed with Snoop's exuberance so far. He might be a better host than I thought.
And Cena vs. HHH? HBK vs Chris Jericho? 8D Works for me!
EDIT: Oh Lawd, Katie Vick joke.
EDIT EDIT: Kofi Kingston spoke more than one sentence!!! Hallelujah! 8D
EDIT EDIT: Kofi Kingston spoke more than one sentence!!! Hallelujah! 8D
I love that HHH called out that they ditched the Jamaican accent.
An overall solid show. Nothing spectacular, but nothing bad either.
Did a good job of making the tag match more interesting to me! The Ted vs Randy match had a good deal of drama, I liked it for what it was: a great lead up to an inevitable feud. Women's match was kind of just there. Funny how Melina acted after she tripped, but a nice counter to Jillian's Handspring Elbow.
I missed Cena vs HHH… gonna likely catch it on the standard broadcast though.
I knew Snoop Dogg was tall, but damn, he's up there! Which is kinda funny since he still looked small next to the wrestlers because he's so skinny.
9PM and WWE raw just started :D
DX .. lol

Yea and let's see how "if" Creative or Vince decides to fuck it up.
Yea and let's see how "if" Creative or Vince decides to fuck it up.
I'll admit some bad ideas have been less than perfect, but the writers and Vince aren't stupid. Both are tremendous workers that are well-liked by the creative team, and Ted has his movie "Marine 2" coming out shortly so a face turn is almost certain to occur.
Wow. Cena lost to HHH. I was sure if Cena won that he'd lose the Iron Man and be sent to SD. Now I'm not so sure. I still think that Cena to SD would let the feud of Cena vs Taker finally happen and could be great.

Oh man, Good Ol' JR was hit with another attack of Bell's Palsy on Monday, during a flight to South Carolina. From his website, JRsBarBQ.com :
"I was able to reach WWE doctors who were in Jacksonville for Raw and they were able to call in the medicines I needed to get started on to slow down the paralysis. Now we just wait and see how the meds work and Mother Nature takes her course. My plans are to tape SD tonite working with the King and perhaps even Michael Cole so we can make sure we can do the job that the product and the talents deserve."
But he's updated today with this:
It has been decided that I should not risk further issues by working tonight and I am in the process of arranging a flight back to OKC so I can see a neurologist on Wednesday. Life is about facing the challenges we encounter so I am going to do all I can to get better and back at the announce desk asap. I wish I had more answers but I simply don't at this time.
I want to be a part of Bragging Rights but only time will tell if that will be physically possible. My passion and love for the game is in tact but I have to do what's best for my long term health.
WWE has been tremendously supportive of my situatiion of which I am very grateful.
Never count me out of the game as this isn't the first mountain that I have had to climb. Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole will handle SD from Columbia. My thanks to every one for understanding this matter. Better days are on the horizon
I think I speak for all of us when I send all my best wishes and hopes to our man Jim Ross.
Poor J.R. ….
And more Jeff Hardy news.
Jeff Hardy's next court date, on November 4th, will "determine if a crime has been committed." There is a story going around in WWE that he was framed. According to the rumors, a package was sent to his door, he took it inside, and cops were there to arrest him. I guess the claim is that someone tipped off the cops that Hardy would be receiving a package, then sent him a package with various gizmos in it, and Jeff, unaware of what was in the package, opened the door, accepted it, and was immediately arrested. That would certainly explain his confidence that he's going to get off clean and come out of this looking just fine. No idea if it's true but that's what people are saying.

I forgot to mention the best part of Raw this week.
^ Haha, since Canada gets RAW on a 15-minute delay, we never got to see the 'Technical Difficulties' issue they had. That picture is priceless…would make for a funny desktop. XD
And I'm quite pleased with that bit of news, Kaizokufan. 8D

Wait, really? It wasn't an actual Technical Difficulties issue. It was a gag to make you think Snoop Dogg was smoking weed… when he was actually lighting scented candles.

I remember reading about it in a RAW play by play (where they didn't mention the drug use), but I don't recall seeing it on the Canadian broadcast.
My guess is the suggested drug use was too risque for the channel, so they edited it out, as they do for whenever the divas get trampled by a guy in the ring. sigh Stupid delay thing… :getlost:

No fair, is it true that Nigel McGuiness and that other guy is not going to go to WWE after all? or was that a false article?
Some Newsbits i found
Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter
Ken "Kennedy" Anderson's people are advising him not to sign anywhere right now with the idea that if he works for Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff on their tour, then Vince McMahon will want to bring him back to WWE.
WWE is now billing Kofi Kingston from Ghana, West Africa instead of Jamaica because they wanted to market him without the accent.
Edge mentioned on Bubba the Love Sponge's show earlier this week that his current Achilles tendon injury was the worst of his career. He didn't give a return date but noted that his contract is up in June of 2010 and he is thinking about buying a house in the Carolinas.

– Christopher Daniels posted a brief note on his Twitter regarding Nigel McGuinness signing on with TNA. “Nigel McGuinness at TNA is their loss and our gain!! A good guy wins in the end!!” Daniels wrote. He later posted a follow-up tweet responding to an article saying he was “gloating” about TNA swiping Nigel McGuinness from World Wrestling Entertainment. “Hey PWTorch! I’m not gloating! I’m saying that if they had him and let (him) go, better for us. He’s someone that should have been signed long ago,” Daniels wrote. McGuinness agreed in principal to a deal with WWE last month, but the contract was not finalized. One report going around says that he may have failed WWE's physical exam.

Makes as much sense as taking Micheal Hayes and repacking him as Doc Hendrix then back to Micheal Hayes again.
Well, from what I've heard, Bragging Rights was better than expected. Good, solid matches, and some twists to be had. And apparently the Iron Man was well done, not an easy feat.
…Crap! I forgot my normal TV Package doesn't let me get WWE shows! was kinda-sorta getting extra channels at no extra cost for some reason... >3> Nggh, I dunno if I can afford the extra channels right now.
...Anyone know a place to watch RAW online? Besides Hulu (Canadian) and the obvious Youtube.
