on it the guys that run the dark side club were all sad cause darkside was dead and according to the last Justice League, all the Dakotaverse heroes(Static) came after their universe got combine with New Earth Universe during FC

on it this group of villains kidnap kid devil and miss martian then the TT go for them, lose track of them and then they kidnap most of infinity inc, try to kidnap wally`s kids and then (this one is important) kidnap misfit and Black Alice on which they escape and kill granny goodness, who later moves her soul to the alpha lantern

on it Red Devil and Zatara go to to Nanda Parbat to help the godness over there, then Neron loses his head(literally) and the godness feels good again
Red Devil return to the tower and loses his powers to brother blood who came back from hell cause the riot still there, the next day the war is over
AND (this is the good one) Zatara gets captured by the DSC on terror titans 1

Also, the Teen Titans didn't even know about the Darkside Club. They don't even mention it until it was almost finished.

DURING FINAL CRISIS. Why the heck would they be brainwashing people with the anti-life equation after Final Crisis?

Reign in Hell, while not clear because it was written almost completely independent from everything else, takes place after Terror Titans (has to; that's if you count it as being cannon because the only series that even reflected the changes was Teen Titans and all Sean McKeever was told was that Blaze became the new leader and Neron died. He didn't even read it and Kid Eternity, who should have been a major player, was essentially nonexistent [as well as Brother Blood]). [someone made a huge list of discrepancies that RiH had with just about every character/series in it and you can tell it was pretty much it's only thing; Watch everyone forget that Neron isn't even the ruler of hell anymore].

which kinda compensate the use of the anti-life equation, which btw had to be some kind of partial thing they use to control all everybody which btw miss martian was able to resist
you might remember during FC5 on the underground cell on where were kept all those resistant to the equation
which place her before Terror Titans
also Reign in Hell cant take before terror titans just for having Red Devil and Zatara on it

Rose leaves the team for Terror Titans…and Eddie is still Kid Devil. He doesn't become Red Devil until the next issue (at the very end) and Miss Martian leaves the team at the beginning of that.

Besides that there are way more incocsistencies besides Eddie and Zacharay Zatara in RiH. Losts of incosistensies with Linda Danvers, Lobo (they said the other Lobo was a clone WTF?), Blue Devil (never as strong as a real demon like he was here), and Eddie should AUTOMATICALLY have turned back into a human going off of what RiH stated.

Who cares though, it doesn't matter anyway and will probably be never referenced again.

How about this though?

#1: At DCU Editorial Panel they stated that the new leader of the Titans is Deathstroke

#2: At the Blackest Night Panel they stated that there would be an upcoming fight with Krypto vs. Dex-tar.

about the Lobo thing he got killed on young justice after he got de-aged, he is killed on Apokolipse and then his corpse gets blown up on 1000 pieces then from the pieces emerge an army of Lobos that start growing old and pretty much screw the planet, then when there was noone else to kill, all the clones kill themselves until 1 remain, who is the actual one

Got done reading the Green Lantern Reborn thing, but I was wondering, if there were any comics that told the story from the very beginning? Hal getting his ring from Abin Sur, Guy going into a coma, John taking Guys place, etc.

I've read the details on all of these comic books;GL, The Flash, Superman, Batman, etc and it seems all of them have really good past stories, but I can't find any remakes of the older comics, are there any?

I don't want to just jump in, ya know?

A lot of these are out of print and you will have a hard time finding them if you do not download them. If you aren't adverse to that, I can give you the issues in question.

The most recent reprint comic (Green Lantern through the ages) had the first Hal Jordan Story and the first story of Hal going to Oa to get training.

Green Lantern secret origin (29-35 of current series) tells of Hal Jordan's modern origin and his first meeting with : Abin Sur, Carol Ferris, Hector Hammond, Sinestro, John Stewart, Atrocitus, The Guardians (and tons of corpsmen), The Black Hand, and a few others.

Well, see, the thing here is that a lot of the events here were retconned. An example of this is Guy Gardner. He is a COMPLETELY different character (oh wait…so is John) when first shown. He is the nicest guy ever and he works with children who have handicaps. Hal was told that he was to be his replacement but Guy never knew. Hal secretly wanted to meet him and they ended up being friends (without Hal mentioning that he's GL). One day their bus crashes and Guy gets injured. Because of this, the guardians have to appoint a new backup to Hal and we get the obligatory ethnic replacement character (John is basically an angry balck guy with street smarts....who ends up being completely different in like 2 years). His minor stint (when Hal went to see what he was like) made it look like he didn't know what he was doing, but had to prove himself and he worked fine. He ditches his mask because he thinks he doesn't need one, etc.

Because a lot of what they did back then didn't happen nowadays, they don't feel the need to reprint it (although they do sometimes reference such stuff).

An important storyline with Guy is that Hal asked to see what it was like if Guy were to have gotten the ring instead of him (because it would have gone to him if he weren't further away). Basically Guy becomes the greatest GL ever...but ends up dying and giving the ring to Hal. In other words, the ring should have always gone to him to prevent Guy from dying. Later (in a different story), when Guy finds out he should have gotten the ring, chaos ensues.

Hal Jordan qits the corps and give John his ring. When he comes back, John doesn't have a ring. Tomar-re dies in Crisis on Infinite Earths and gives John Stewart his ring. This is how both people are able to have one (since Guy's got taken away and then he gets Sinestro...a lot of crap happens).

Pretty much, just reading Wikipedia and a few select issues you won't have to worry about reading a lot of back issues. Oh, and Green Lantern/Green Arow and Carol Ferris/Black Canary have a lot of teamups together in volume 2 (since they shared 1 book).

Crisis
Guy wakes up from coma and give him a ring
Hal gets possesed by Parallax but remains in control, his hair got gray at sides
Hal gets pissed and takes Guys ring, Guy steal Siniestro`s yellow ring
Cyborg-superman and Mongul I destroy costal city
Hal go crazy and destroy the central batery, absorbs its power became parallax
kills all the guardians except 1 who takes Hal´s ring supercharge it and give it to Kyle
Parallax do bad things
Parallax dies
insert the rest of GL v3 here
on Day of Judgment(writed by Geoff Johns btw) Hal´s soul, conected with parallax, gets selected as the spectre
Spectre do good things
then it comes GL rebirth

ok now go and read GL v4

lol In one of the flashbacks (I believe in the Agent Orange Arc) there were female guardians as well. No consistency there.

Tomar-tu. Tomar-Re was the one patrolling when the Krypton incident occured.

Yeah, you are pretty right about most of the Hal progression but a few things are off concerning John and Guy (like how John became a guardian and the incident with Xanshi and why he quit). Hal didn't select the people after him, the ring did (guardians told Hal).

Also, Guy was pissed at Hal because Hal basically stole his fortune-teller girlfriend from him (lol).

I havent read anything from GL v3 or before except for DoJ but i know pretty much the story so you really dont need to just go through all to know it
is like reading spiderman after One More Day, you know pretty much everything you need to know on the first issue and all the rest doesnt count
which sucks but is not the case here
though i do wanna read GLv3 from the beginning

What I've read of v.3 was VERY "meh". Good thing Hal's the lead again.

The John Stewart stuff is mostly in "Green Lantern - Mosaic". It was supposed to be his solo series but it didn't last long.

I just got my Amazing Spider-Man 600. What a great large issue!

Couple questions:
1. Who is that on page 3 flicking Doc Ock when he says "Occassionally Omega-class entities"?

2. Is Spidey kissing Black Cat or Ms. Marvel on the bottom left corner in page 2 of the "Violent Visions" sidestory about Madame Web? If it's Carol, when did that happen? Or was it supposed to be a view in the future, in the Ms Marvel comic they were teasing a Spidey-crush a while back.

3. Who was that who attacked Madame Web at the end?

The entire Madame Web side was confusing for me, but I only started back on Spider-Man with the American Son arc so I missed a lot. Caught me by surprise that Flash was in a wheelchair.

I actually read the 80s-90s GL series and the stories before Hal becomes Parallax were pretty good IMO, including a really good fight between Hal and Guy.

Superman 690 was kinda lame, i read the spoilers on the DCU blog and idk why but just thought that Steel would call for help or escape or Mon-el would ramdomly come to the rescue, now it looks like they will use steel to hurt him and blame it on mon-el or supergirl or someone else
it frustrating when you really dont know the motivation of the evil guy on anything either on comics or books or film, its just lame to see someone just do bad stuff just cause those guys are mutants or aliens or whatever

JSA and TT were kinda the same plot with different characters

I think it's Black Cat since Black Cat is supposed to be coming back in the comics soon.

I recommend reading from the "New Ways to Die" arc on, it should pretty much fill you in on everything you need to know about what's happening in BND.

Oh…I recommend not reading the current DP series then...see whenever a new writer takes the helm of a series you have to expect the book to be a 'reboot;. In the case of Daniel Way's current DP series, he's writing it a bit differently than how Fabian N. had it during Cable and DeadPool. Way's run is good BTW, but may not appeal much to those who liked C&D.
There is another DeadPool series (just started last month); The Merc with the mouth. It's just some random DP stories with the same humor but not exactly canon as far as I can tell.

Planet Hulk is getting a movie, dunno if this was said already, and frankly I don't care if it was or not.
Marvel isn't my favorite, but Iron man and The Hulk were two of my favorite from it, so I'm glad to see some more of him, but I'm not really sure about this.

52 is a masterpiece, one of the best comics ever not just cause of the history but for the concept of it. i mean all comics jumped one year in order to create 52, the end is quite surprising thought there are a couple of things that could have done better and others that remove somethings that could have been better not removing like sub-diego and black adam and others.

about countdown and Didio what i heard was that he said that it was 52 done right
the thing with countdown is that it relates events that happen over the year(sort of) after 52 so bart dies on flash, the next issue of countdown is the funeral and that kind of things
honestly i didnt like it that much specially cause it really doesnt seem like a countdown to FC like countdown to IC was
other than the fight between Darkside an Orion there is nothing to tie FC and Countdown, actually dead of the new gods could have replaced it on a better way

Trinity sucked cause there was no purpose on the story and it could easily have taken just 12 or 15 chp instead of 52
52 have 52 chps cause it was a year and it view 1 week per chp
countdown have 52 cause countdown had 52

i have just read 7 soldiers 0 and 1 and the 4 issues of bulleter and wanna read frankestein but havent had time, the others im not quite interested
you have to love bulleter, one of the best characters morrison have ever made, except the end issue was crap for the backstory of sally sonic, totally unnesesary, the character of sally is supposed to never grow old so she is send to an orfanate even thought she had 21 she seems 15 then escape and ultimately becomes a whore hooked on drugs, quite retarded not for the story but for the execution
about bulleter chp 1-3 are excelent, the origin of the character is great and the drawing are really sexy, actually hoped to see her on JSA or JLA but she have disapeared for a long time =(

about 7 soldiers the story supoused to take 1 or 3 months before FC having the 7 soldiers 0 before IC since bulleter appear on the battle for metropolis
the was regular, but i personally dont like the time traveling villians
it doesnt have sence that they were plumping their own decendants

and about the wednesday comics
Flash, WW, batman and metal men are great, hawkman is awful, i dont read it the rest is regular

I'm liking Flash, Green Lantern, and Hawkman a lot. Love the art on Superman but wish more would happen. Also liking Metal Men which is a surprise since the Didiot is writing.

Kamandi is by far the best one in the whole book, and I really want the same creative team to do a regular Kamandi ongoing or mini or something now.

Strange Adventures is really awesome too.

Teen Titans is the only one I'm really not feeling at all.

Way's run is good BTW, but may not appeal much to those who liked C&D.
There is another DeadPool series (just started last month); The Merc with the mouth. It's just some random DP stories with the same humor but not exactly canon as far as I can tell.

I read 1-4, and it doesn't seem to be that big a shift thus far. The recap chapter thingie pretty much puts him where C&D had him, as well.

you have to love bulleter, one of the best characters morrison have ever made, except the end issue was crap for the backstory of sally sonic, totally unnesesary, the character of sally is supposed to never grow old so she is send to an orfanate even thought she had 21 she seems 15 then escape and ultimately becomes a whore hooked on drugs, quite retarded not for the story but for the execution
about bulleter chp 1-3 are excelent, the origin of the character is great and the drawing are really sexy, actually hoped to see her on JSA or JLA but she have disapeared for a long time =(

Yeah, but you're reading it out of order. It may get kinda chaotic that way.
I believe that officialy, the whole story takes one week after IC according to Morrison and one week before IC according to Didio(ugh).

As for Bulleteer, I found the superhero porn sidestory interesting, just shows what can Morrison accomplish when he wants to make sense for everyone. It's too bad she isn't used very much.

Klarion was my favorite character. After reading the whole thing, I can just see how much of an asshole he is.

Frankenstein is also awesome. The fact that his issues were drawn by my favorite artist only makes him even better.

As for 52, it had only one thing that bugged me - the Lady Styx plotline. was it ever resolved? She was pretty creepy and since Darkseid's dead, I could see her as one of the candidates for the new Big bad of DCU. Of course, for that she'd have to appear more..

Marvel isn't my favorite, but Iron man and The Hulk were two of my favorite from it, so I'm glad to see some more of him, but I'm not really sure about this.

Here's hoping it'll be the last Hulk-involved Marvel video for a while. I don't care that much about Hulk, I'm mostly indifferent to him, but most of the Marvel videos have had him prominent. Hulk was huge in Ultimate Avengers, Next Avengers and Hulk Vs. That's about 50% of the total movies.

I'd rather see some of the other major events be made into movies. Secret Wars, Kree-Skrull War, House of M, Civil War, so on.

I was also really glad that they went with a Dr. Strange movie, but it must've not sold to expectations since they've stuck with the big guns since (Next Avengers was already well in works). I'm no huge Strange fan or anything, but I always like when a chance is given to more obscure characters. Maybe its because I had little experience with him, but I thought it was probably the best movie release.

Would be good if some more less recognized characters got a movie feature. Especially to see a Daredevil, Luke Cage & Iron Fist (Heroes for Hire-style), Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, Ghost Rider, so on. Heck if two of those got Hollywood movies, they deserve animated recognition.

I'm liking Flash, Green Lantern, and Hawkman a lot. Love the art on Superman but wish more would happen. Also liking Metal Men which is a surprise since the Didiot is writing.

Kamandi is by far the best one in the whole book, and I really want the same creative team to do a regular Kamandi ongoing or mini or something now.

Strange Adventures is really awesome too.

Teen Titans is the only one I'm really not feeling at all.

Isn't there any summary of Wonder Woman? The art is pretty but I don't know what the hell it's about.

Wonder Woman has great art but it's impossible to follow what the hell is going most of the time. I love the coloring but when the panels are so small and the reading order is so crazy, having all the panels be purple or orange doesn't help when trying to understand it.

So far it seems like Wonder Woman is going on an adventure to find the Amazon Star things or whatever the hell the name is, and each adventure is a dream? I don't know.

It amazes me that they went sooooooo traditional with Supes and Bats (and really with everyone in the book), but Wondy was the only one to have this radical re-imagining. For every step DC takes to make people care more about Diana, they take two steps back.

Re: Lady Styx. Her storyline was picked up in Countdown to Adventure, which was an AWESOME mini that picked up with Starfire, Adam Strange, and Animal Man.

I think she popped up again in one of the many Strange Adventures minis that they've been releasing but I don't know for sure.

I really liked her as a villain too.

I think DC really needs a big universe threatening villain again. They just pretty much wiped Darkseid out of existence. He isn't just dead, he isn't anything. And if they want to bring him back, they gotta pull some retcon or just pull a reboot.

Ouch that sucks if it is lost. I liked the Iron Man a lot too, and was really happy that both it and the movie came out so close to one another and both told the origin and still were stylistically different. I should watch it again. I remember that I really liked when he was fighting against Mandarin's elemental warriors.
