As for tomorrow's battle I'll probably vote for Kidd because Yasopp left his wife who died and kid who ended up abandoned as a child.

I like Yasopp, and since he's Usopp's father he's super cool by association, but I don't think he's appeared enough for me to judge his character properly.

Kidd has a lot of cheap badass appeal, but I still like him because as douchey as he appears to be, he's still a crazy dreamer searching for One Piece like Luffy. Plus, I like what he does with his magnetic powers and his crew seems like a neat bunch, so Kidd has my vote this time I think.

Basically what we can say is…that up till about Boa Hancocks match the total counts arent as representative as the ones that followed, probably because of the fact that people were slowly learning of the existence of this tournament.
Plus if you are cheering for your character you can be looking at the total count of the votes when it reachers about 400 and if he is leading he should probably win but not certain ofcourse :D

Other than Banchi Shushu would actually deserve it. I've just reread the Buggy Arc last week and I was reminded of how touching the whole thing with Shushu (his fight with Richie and his tears because of the burning petstore) actually was. Sadly I see no hope for him seeing that his opponent is a Blackbeard Pirate. :(

One of my favorite dystopian novels, and I can actually see Lafitte doing the technique when he was a police officer, longshot but hoping Oda can pull that off. Also the author's name is Anthony Burgess. Coincidence? Yeah, probably.
