How does one (in a shonen) blow air inside one's bones without breaking skin? If skin is broken, what lies between skin and bone?
I'm not sure what point you're trying to make, here. Just quit trying to be cute, or whatever it is you're doing, and just say whatever it is you're trying to say. I'm not getting into post after post describing the human anatomy with you.
Well, I can tell you think you are an expert on storytelling, so I won't challenge you there. However! I do think it has been noted quite constantly in both the forums and (indirectly) in the manga that Croc's threat is based more off of his "strategery" than off his abilities.
Wait, what?! Where in the manga was this ever stated?! I don't really give a damn what forum says what, but you're bringing the manga into this?! So people were worried about Luffy fighting Crocodile because he's sneaky?! So Cobra was shocked that Luffy got some shots in on Croc because Croc's a quick-thinker?!
(Note I didn't say 'strength', as he is more average villain in terms of raw strength). So, if I were to take an _un_educated guess at what Croc would come back with (if anything), I would say it would be some villainous scheme or action befitting of his character. Not some lame super-ultra power-up. What is this, Bleach? Oda is a good writer, so he could write Croc back into the story with or without some major involvement. The story isn't written on the whims of a Crocodile fanboy. "Ohh!! Ohh!! Do Desert Spada next!! I like that one!"
Cute. But you're missing the point. I'm not talking about what schemes Crocodile is going to pull. That's where post reading comes in. I'm referring to the hypothetical situation wherein Luffy and Crocodile have a rematch. Were this to happen, Crocodile would undoubtedly have new abilities to keep the fight interesting.
Yes, I'm sure that would make anyone grow leaps and bounds in strength. In fact, every time see torture victims and prison inmates I think to myself, "Look at the butt on that one!"**
Well then make up something that works for you.
…k? Moria picked Luffy for a reason. That reason would be fighting ability.
Technically, it would be his bounty. Moria knew nothing of Luffy's abilties first-hand at that point. In fact, Moria kept revelling in putting the shadow of someone with a high bounty into Oz several times. You may remember that Moria doesn't want shadows of anyone as strong, or stronger than him (which pretty much clinches the previous argument that Luffy is inherently weaker than Moria, at least). You seem to forget that Moria's emphasis was on the zombies themselves. The shadows just gave them life and named attacks.
Ryuuma wasn't dangerous because he had Brooke's shadow, he was dangerous because he was Ryuuma.
He had to choose one person to go in his secret weapon that he would use to conquer the New World. Oz was 'created' using Luffy's abilities (which include speed) for a reason, and I assure you that reason had something to do with Luffy's threat and status, which Moria recognized. Now, I won't go into how pathetic that idea was (for Moria), given what happened and what other characters are capable of in the Grand Line, but the point being Moria didn't take out any other the Strawhats (well, kind of Robin) without the help of Oz. Not saying he couldn't have, but without Oz, versus the entire crew more or less…? Highly doubt it.
Except that Oz had none of Luffy's abilities at all until Moria started playing around with Oz's shadow. In fact, the entire point of Moria letting Oz run free was that, eventually, Luffy's shadow would no longer be Luffy, and would be an obedient slave to him.
Look, if you want to make a quip or sarcastic comment, at least include a point in there somewhere.
You're acting like a child. That work?
