Hmm on mine Tashigi there is a gold Toei sticker 24 on it. And on mine Mild series ther is silver Toei sticker 3 on it.
I think yours is just a real one it could be first or 2nd production of it ??
Mild for me is #16 and 15

Yesterday I effected a search and I discovered:
Pop Old figures have only gold sticker with number 24.
Pop figures Neo haven't number on gold sticker.
Only Chopper,Chopperman and Mild series have number 15 or 16 on the gold sticker.
Mild for me is #16 and 15

cmon The bootleg can never be same as the old P.O.P. series. The different is to much ?? Why would those bootleg maker spend money on a stickers when the boxen they use for there fake P.O.P are weak. They just put the fake p.o.p on a plastic sac so its not stuck in the box self. So there package self must be 20% cheaper then the real one ??
Lets say like you say they make fake Toei sticker after you compare your fake one with the other P.O.P on the internet you always find a different thing on it.
If you spend so much money too buy P.O.P everyone should take more care of it.

Why want a photo of Tashigi. There isnt even a Tashigi bootleg.
The only bootlegg pictures I found is Luffy,Sanji,Zorro,Nami(version2),Shanks,Chopper and some Mild series but for those i have not seen them in close up.

@ReDDragon: you can't be sure, there's no source that lists bootleg sellers :). But I agree that, as Tashigi didn't sell a lot at the time, no faker should have seen any interest in bootlegging this figurine.

Try www.anime-export.com. They offer Usopp for 1674 Yen. They also offer SAL as shipping method, but you have to email them about it. They only offer registered SAL, though, so it's a bit more expensive than HLJ, but not by much. The shop is very reliable.

I have to agree with this. I've lived in Hong Kong for some time and you would not believe the lengths some of them will go to make these fakes - there's so much work making the packaging look almost 100% perfect so unless you're looking at the figure itself (like that Chopper, or the MILD Nami with the very messed up face) it can be really easy to be fooled. I wouldn't put it past some of them to replicate the gold/silver Toei sticker just for that extra layer of protection we feel when we buy. Let's face it, when a P.O.P has been discontinued, people really get desperate for one and are more willing to take risks - that's when the bootleggers pounce on the opportunity.
Even pictures on Ebay you can't trust unless they've obviously taken the photo. People use official photos of the merchandise rather than their own to fool you. That's why going to trusted sellers is the best and why I just refuse to trust ebay.
Speaking of bootlegs, if it weren't for the fact I'd be giving them money, I'd be tempted to pick up a few of the little bootleg One Piece Key chains and such I've seen in the markets here to share photos of, as some of them are pretty darn hilarious (and embarrassing) in all their poor quality. Nothing beats the black Chopper keychain.

this particular was unsuspected me.
i think that seller has glued the gold sticker on Tashigi's box because originally it wasn't present.
I think this, because months ago he sell many Tashigi without gold sticker.
Now he sell for example Nami v2 (not neo, but old serie) without gold sticker.
I think that exist many bootleg of One Piece Pop serie.
For example I see Smoker,Bellemere,Nami v2 e Tashigi without gold sticker.
@inuyasha.87: your figure and others really look too much like genuine products, packaging and figurines aren't distinguable from genuine at all, besides the sticker. So it's completely defeat the purpose of fakers: make quick money with low quality reproductions.
My theory would be that they got genuine products but not approved by Toei for whatever reason, e.g. factories produced new stocks after Megahouse stopped to command new supplies, so those stocks just stood nowhere for a while before somebody spotted them ?
@zerocustom1989: I'll send you a link with a big size scan. My scanner is not of HQ…you should be able to do great things out of it but I couldn't make big size good looking pix for me :(
Ugh…so today I opened my Nami and Bluma DBxOP figures...
Bulma looks EXACTLY like the one on the box...but Nami looks like CRAP.
Her head is really tiny, her lips look as if she had just finished eating a cherry popsicle, and they made a coloring error and the part near her neck which should be blue is orange. >_>

Well I already shoot tons of pictures of my older POPs with my own camera as I got them and the shots werent too bad, so I dont really feel like doing it again now :P

:blink:The Golden Chopper Coin and Chopperman Can I bought outside of the Theater gift shop in tokyo when Movie 9 came out, and that Shonen Jump is just #34 of 2007, its not too special (Not unlike my One Piece 10th Treasure speacial magazine). Its just one of the few OP cover theme Jumps that I kept when I moved back to the states after leaving in Japan for the past 3 years.

I didnt see one, but not every POP get his bootleg. There is also no Franky, Sogeking and a some others.
Its not easy (read: cheap) to create a bootleg from these.
Popularity can also be a reason offcourse. But i dont think thats the reason for Sogeking, Franky and now maybe Brook.
Just tell us where you want to buy it. I think most of the people here can say if its a bootleg or not.
But as far as i know there is not a bootleg. Maybe its also a little to soon?

If HLJ thats the problem. HLJ always sets the right price on the box.
They never add a fake price, even if you ask for it.
I believe alot of store dont do that?, thats why sometimes i prefer ebay.

I used SAL, and for me it was bad luck cos i phoned the post office n asked about it n apparently, customs charges are either, because the sender hasnt payed enough shipping, which in this case it wasnt because its coming from HLJ, or its just random, when the goods come into the country on a ship or whatever, they take containers at random to check for drugs etc,,, and just scan the packages, so they dont need to open them. and im so unlucky i got my ones checked twice in a week :( , so technicly i could go for years without having a customs charge, all depends on weather your items are in the containers they check.
N the charge goes by item cost, so if its over a certain price u get charged more, n i think it mite be illegal to give a false item price, who did you buy them from? cos i couldnt imagine HLJ giving a fake item price, cos when i emailed them they stated that they have good relations with their customs n they do evrything by the book.
