can I call Akainu ending up having a sort of laser ability, where he just creates a red light saber, and fights jedi-style, only to reveal to Franky that he is his dad? then he cuts off franky's arm and franky ends up rebuilding it, ergo, the franky upgrade of that arc.
failing at that, how about simply some form of energy? would complete the logia/personality triangle, his ability being massively powerful, red in general colour (seeing as how light isnt exactly yellow, nor ice blue) and he'd have to be really angry/hyped up, in contrast to aokiji's coolness and kizaru's fun side.

Is that scar below his left eye a real scar he has or just makeup? If it's real, he'd be perfect for the role because it would be like a "Mirror" of Luffy.
As for his DF, my guess is Clay, Blood, or Red Syrup. Yes, Syrup. But… didn't we already have a guy (in filler) who ate a Syrup fruit?
I called it wrong, so long ago. I guess this needs to be changed.

It was a girl. Also I don't really see a scar under that guy's left eye. I see a crease but no scar. It like a line…... I dunno it might be make up or an attempt to cover up a more clearer scar.

I like it but it is a little too much like Star Wars(the arm, the father thing), then again I could see Oda paying homage to Star Wars by doing that with Franky lol. Thing is Franky would start tearing up, being emotional and most likely ruin the epicness of that scene lol.

I was kidding about the light saber thing entirely, I just thought of a nice parallel between OPand SW. My guess is still that it's energy, possibly in the form of lava (seeing as how lava is heated rock, rock, with additional energy added to raise the temperature) or, my top bet, some fiendishly powerful close combat ability, that will really show his rottweiler-like fierceness. rabies rabies fruit anyone?

Reading some more Japanese theories on who Akainu's model will be.
Another good one I've heard is Antonio Inoki based on his rather large chin we caught a glimpse of. Hmmm. Interesting. But….it would be a little goofy.
I can't help but wonder if his awkwardly large hood is hiding something that would otherwise be a dead giveaway. Another afro'd character perhaps? If so there's that Japanese boxer whose name escapes me at the moment. But he's not as physically imposing as Sakazuki so…

It hit me as what I'd describe as awkwardly large.
Regarding the shadow we saw, it seems that the middle would be Kizaru just wearing a formal hat. The shadows appear to be in the order Robin names them. While this cannot be proven it just makes sense. We've seen John Giant with a similar hat.

On the subject of which silhouette belongs to which admiral, check the marine chart in the yellow databook. Kizaru's the one with the weird hat/hair. It probably just didn't make it to the final design.

I still don't think it's a matter of it being dropped or not. Altered? Yeah sure, we saw that transpire with BB's crew. But not dropped. I just don't think we've seen them in full formal uniform yet.

I'm aware of that, however I'm sure that the stuff in databook like manga images collages are made by editors, not by Oda, so mistake could have easily slipped through. The way they were introduced in manga had a different feeling from anime.

That said, regardless of who arranged what in the databooks, they couldn't not have been completed without Oda. There are names, places and information in them that was not available in the story. They had to at least contact Oda regarding the information and his name is on the books. So the argument cannot be made that he is/was unaware of their contents.

Man… Ofcourse Oda is in charge of writing info for databooks, but you don't think he was the one who made collages out of his own images, especially of the stuff we already knew.

I'm fairly strict when it comes to accepting mistakes on an author's part, so when they put their name on something I accept it as something they have reviewed and/or approve of. That's basically how I accept OP data books. I know Oda doesn't cross every t or dot every i but his name is on the cover so he accepts responsibility for it.
Well I found a big mistake in Yellow today.
I was researching (what I thought were just) Yagra out of curiosity when I came across something interesting. I had forgotten that 'Yagra' was merely a class of 'Bull'. This originally confused me because I was trying to piece together what the giant thing Luffy and Nami saw with the masked riders (rimshot) in the town was since it was large but obviously physically different from S&G whom I specifically remembered being 'King'-types.
So I went to Yellow to see if it would clear things up and that's where I found the error.
What really are 'Bulls' are listed as 'Yagra' which it describes as having different types such as King and Rabka. It then goes on to make an even bigger mistake by saying there are different sizes of these types within each class.
Whoever organized that information thought that all the creatures were Yagras and that S&G were large-type Yagra (which they thought 'King' indicated) when they are really King-type Bulls. Which, by the way, would seem to indicate that the large unidentified Bull seen in town was a Rabka-type Bull.
The important thing is that the comic still makes sense and that Yellow has false information. So Al!na, your hypothesis and argument has plenty of weight, even though I personally believe the shadows were in correct order.

I decided it was a must-see and bought a DVD.Yusaku was failrue detective (as always XD), Kunie his… boss in police/investigation departament I think (I watched it in Japanese and mine`s far from being fluent, mind you) and there was the other guy who had much screen time and who got killed in the middle of the movie, one of the owner of the evil maison or something.
But.
There was a long scene with them three and the other lady (also some kind of a detective I think) investigating in the forest. Take a look.
Let me tweek the contrast a bit.

Zik. You are taking things out of context. Any other Akainu related thread would likely get merged with this one, and your posts were either directly or indirectly insulting all the hard work that Al!naJames had put into this. On top of it, your grudge against her for the other topic is what is really out of context. In that thread Al!na didn't want people posting other works and works that weren't predictions. IE: Fanart and fan colorings. She wanted the thread to remain predictions and not turn into just a fanart and "post a colored pic" thread. The difference is that one is an ongoing and neverending thread (until the Manga completes), where another is just baseless speculation and exists to stimulate conversation – which she is doing, while staying fairly on topic. (Being as it is in regards to Akainu).
