Tastes distinctly xenobladish.
Want.

Oh so the game is called X? Or is that a temp name ur using?
Probably just a working title. I suspect it'll end up being Xeno_____
This looks like Xenoblades meets Monster Hunter. Which is amazing.
Am I the only one who thought of this when I saw the title?
I just salivated so hard. This game looks delicious. AND it's probably coming to America, which is a good sign. Can't wait for more info.
Being wary after the initial nerdgasm. The chat window is a bad omen.
If this turns out to be an mmo or a grinding focused multiplayer game without any story worth mentioning I'm very likely not going to be interested in it.
I'm trying to figure out what your role is supposed to be in this game. I like the mechs, the high-tech versions of medieval weaponry, and guns(Xenosaga's character designer is so noticeable in this department). But the setting just makes me go "eh… why are we even here?".
Want so much. SUPER EXCITED
X is for Xeno…. considering Xenoblade is the first of the Xeno games to really hit it off outside of Japan I could see them doing it as Xenoblade 2.
Either way. Instantly sold. Even if it is a MMO.

The setting is an excuse to destroy giant monsters. Though just for once I'd like to destroy giant monsters in a futuristic "I just smoked some PCP and watched Speed Racer The Movie" colorful environment.
The second I saw this I thought it was a Xenoblade sequel. I really hope it is I loved the first game so much.
A new Monolith Soft game sounds good to me. And if it does play like Xenoblade, then the naysayers can shut about how they wish Xenoblade was on an HD console.
At first I thought it was another monster hunter - "eh, okay. but MH3 is already on the way…"
then I saw the guns - "huh. that'll set it apart, at least. but it still doesn't look very..."
then I saw the mecha - "holy shit I want to punch dinosaurs while piloting a mecha wait did it just transform hell yesss"
as long as the mech combat is a core part of the game, I'm sold.

Yeah then they can complain about how it's not on a HD console they own.

And the world will play the tiniest violin for them.
Might be too far fetched, but the generic face at the end could mean that it is still character/story focused and perfectly fine playable in singleplayer. MMO would be disappointing, but right now I'm hopeful so I'm just glad that it looks great and the team does a good job enhancing Nintendos portfolio further. They might shame Square Enix even more if it comes out before the end of next year and Versus still aint here, lol. With 400k views in a few days, hopefully Nintendo also realises the potential and markets it properly. Goddamn Nintendo of America waiting for positive response from JP and EU before making Xenoblade only available as a collectors item was just ridiculous.
Damn. That looks hot.
I might just buy a Wii U for this game.
Monster Hunter mecha version? Sweet
I was thinking about this a bit, and I think that it could end up like the White Knight Chronicles games, where there is a single player option and a multiplayer one.

Some stuff about monolith.
Man it's nice and all but seriously japan? It's 2013, there is something seriously fundamentally wrong to not involve everyone from every department in your creation process that wants to be part of it. Are we going to hear in 2015 how important fan feedback can be?
It irks me everytime to hear that stuff that should be a given, from the country that spawned many of my most beloved games(and still does). But then I'm somewhat used to it now…

Maybe Ubisoft can learn a thing or two from them lol

Which studio do you mean? Ubisoft doesn't say much of anything since as you probably know it's a publisher not a developement studio.
And since the last thing I've read about ubisoft's developement was focused on outsourcing regarding the assassins creed developement I'm not sure what you're referring to either, so pls enlighten me :).
