Hey people, take a look at this~
PREVIEW 5 (with English subtitles!)
! I meant the final hit
Well…
! If you remember, Dio was already pretty damaged from all the fighting. He even used his own blood-spurting knee to blind Jotaro for a cheap hit… And that knee was the same place Star Platinum punched The World with all his might. Since almost all stands reflect the user's damage on them, let's say it was a "critical hit" if you consider what happens when two forces magnanimally strong collide.
So…I thought that when the host dies the Tailed beast is free to go on a rampage. Wasn't that the flashback we saw way back when about Naruto's mother? Or does the host have to be alive for them to make a break for it? I'm so confused I can't remember the rules for this stuff.
"Madara" made the Kyuubi go on a rampage or something.
Go figure.
Oh, man! This chapter. I like this chapter.
Holy crap, Bellamy - that was actually pretty cool.
Also, more Bartrolling.
Hahaha, whaaaaaaaaat?
I don't know if I should be impressed or laughing about how freaking over-the-top that was!
Man, this manga.
! RUNOVER = DIO :ninja:
Um, If I may say about Mario…
It was actually decent enough to continue as a stand-alone series.
Nothing "awesome" or "incredible", but seems good enough.
By the way, the history is fit for a Tarantino movie, as the panel transitions reminds me of a storyboard.
Holy shit, man! o_o
Those are such impressive numbers! And a giant poster at Shibuya? Oh boy!
Oh. My. God.
Part 6 does get better. Hot damn.
I'm close to the climax of the "Guard Westwood" fight. . . .
! . . .is this the most direct, bloody, brutal, no bullshiting around "martial arts" fight of all the JoJo fights?
! And is Jolyne like a Black Belt 100th dan in Karate? This girl kicks so much ass it's not even funny! And the way she uses Stone Free. . .Ripping the guard's toe nail. . .putting threads INSIDE his ear and eyes. . .and then PULLING them. . .SO GOOD!
! And that fucking guard will never die!
! All the while meteors keep falling!Really, the most adrenalitic fight in JoJo. I want it to never end. It's fucking heaven.
Sorry for the bump, but I had to get this out of my body.
Thanks to your post, I just re-read that fight…
It's just too freaking awesome. I would be satisfied if Westwood gets included in All Star Battle's roster as the obligatory grappler brute.
Okay, hold up. I just got to the part in Part 5, where
! Koichi says that no matter what happens to an automatic stand, the user won't be affected. He's referring to Black Sabbath, who was literally just incinerated. And according to him, Polpo should still be alive. BUT, back in Part 4, he himself used Echoes Three Freeze on Sheer Heart Attack (an automatic stand by his own statement), and Yoshikage Kira's left hand was driven into a table! What's up with that!?
Here goes the explanation:
! Sheer Heart Attack is just another attack of Killer Queen - quite literally, it's launched from his stand's hand. That's why Kira was still affected: even if it looks like another stand, it's actually just an elaborate heat-seeking bomb launched from Killer Queen's fist.
Now THAT's what I call an hilarious chapter!
Good show~!
We have to name part 0, NOW.
"The gentleman and the Thief" is not jojo worthy.
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure 0: Gently Weep
What was that, if I may ask?
Joseph's "Happy! Joypy!" dance from when he was confronted by Santana while Stroheim and Speedwagon watched.
So, let's sum this up.
Until now, we have 22 characters confirmed -
! Jonathan, Will, Joseph, Caesar, ACDC, Wham, Jotaro, Polnareff, Kakyoin, Avdol, Hol Horse, Dio (Stand), Josuke, Okuyasu, Kira, Giorno, Mista, Jolyne, Hermes, Johnny, Gyro and Josuke (Jojolion) and rumors about 2 more characters - Cioccolatta and Annasui.
If we add every "final boss" that's lacking and one more character per each part, Jojolion excluded, the roster would go up to 36 characters already.
I know this series have lots and lots of characters, but… Yeah. Personally, I doubt the list will get any taller than 36 and there's quite the chance that some of my favourites won't make the cut.
Just saying. Meh, not feeling well right now.
Logically, Cameo has to be an Automatic Stand. But that also means that, logically, his user is a moron. Really, he can deploy his stand from any distance, and he chooses to be within a 100 yards of the guys he's trying to kill? I think it's far more likely that it was a regular, power based stand, and Araki just forgot one of his rules for a bit.
Polnareff and Abdul weren't the only ones on the island, you know. Maybe Cameo was close because he thought his "camouflage" would be enough to stay hidden and, after his stand killed them, to swiftly dispose of the bodies so the other ones can't see them laying on plain view. It's logical.
This was not explained in Part 3, which is the farthest I've gotten, but thank you for explaining.
Does Anubis fall into the same category?
It was explained on Part 4 and Part 5, actually.
By the way, Anubis is clearly an Automatic stand.
! There's also that guy in Part 3, Cameo.
Abdul basically incinerates his Stand, but he stays alive underground
Automatic stands. The users have no control of them and they need to be triggered by a condition, but they are usually long-ranged and work independently of the user, therefore, no damage given to their stands are reflected on them.
Really, Araki explains it a couple of times.
! Examples: Judgement (trigger - touching the lamp); Black Sabbath (trigger - when the fire of Polpo's lighter goes out); Notorious B.I.G. (trigger - when the user dies).
@No:
I sorta feel very awkward about this.
Also I bet someone will come to this thread now thinking there's been a new release (like me).
Whoops! Sorry man, I haven't seen chapter 99 before and… Well.
This series… Oh, this series!
SO much awesome. How come it doesn't have a fighting game?
http://www.batoto.net/read/_/140683/onepunch-man_ch11_by_boon-scanlation/22
So I got really reminded of Gintama for some reason.
All the emotions flowed so well this chapter!
I'm even more pumped!
It's a pity…
I actually liked this manga more than Toriko, and I really tried to see for myself what's up with Toriko, too. :(
Millions of kids die EVERY DAY, for BETTER reasons.
This Narutard dying for Itachi is basically SHITTING on the faces of the millions who die of hunger or struggle with disease. He deserves to be laughed at, and I will laugh.
For every dumbass like this kid, there are a million other kids dying elsewhere in the world who DON'T get articles. Funny how no-one is showing sympathy for them or doing anything about it, and yet you sit here and attempt to criticize me with your fake sense of compassion by telling me not to laugh at this one kid.
Still, suiciding is not a motive for laughs at all, not even because "HURR DURR HE WAS NARUTO FAN".
Really. We are not going to cry for all the dead children here, but at least you people shouldn't put a manga rivalry on the way. sigh
At least, we can see how many dicks are posting here. I am glad they aren't much.
I am relieved to see that at least half of this thread has common sense (regarding the suicide note).
I know all that.
BUT all that is now WRONG, because Kubo changed it, so we can't say that, that's the reason they can see ghosts now.
That was the wrost retcon that Kubo has done this entire manga. Not only did that put in more plot holes than can count, it also made every captain or strong shinigami seem like a lazy piece of shit. Before we could write off the reason they keep sending initiates to the worst Hollow town in the world was because if they sent captains their HUGE raitsu woudl affect normal humans and make them see hollows, ect. But now that is not and excuse and now they are just lazy ass captains letting people die and shinigami get killed by hollows.
One point does NOT make the another one invalid, you know.
Seems you're ranting just for the sake of ranting right now… But whatever. Bleach indeed sucks.
What is this I didn't even
I like part 5, it's my favorite one :(, I can't wait until it gets animated
Well, I know Part 5 isn't bad per se, just telling the issues that makes me weirded about it.
Since we touched on why Part 5: Vento Aureo isn't quite as good as the others, it's for (more or less) the same reasons Metal Gear Solid 2 and Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney aren't fan favourites on their series either. Here's my two cents:
(HERE BE SPOILERS)
1. The protagonist
Just everything about Giorno smells like a fan-character instead of a legitimate Jojo protagonist. A 15-years-old genius anti-hero teenager, handsome, half-Japanese, son of a fan-favourite charismatic villain (Dio), carries his father's photo in the wallet, born within shady and convultued circumstances, got his hair blond when his stand powers developed, has (a bit too much) versatile stand that makes him able to turn every tight situation shoot at him - including that Purple Haze issue - and is able to help in almost every fight that isn't his, making his mafia friends praise him at least twice every enemy appears. Really… He is too much of a convenient fan-character, and I am not even touching the last fight here that elevates him to Mary Sue levels of power.
2. The villain Since when I saw Doppio for the first time I knew he was the big bad. His also shady and convultued circumstances of birth irked me a bit, but I felt it was better than Giorno's at least. His appearance is not too full of details, but still a good enough design. His quirks are entertaining and made me chuckle a few times. His fight with Risotto was smart, not unlike a Joestar, where he needed his brains to outsmart and outmaneuver a seemingly much stronger opponent on a mano-a-mano. When Araki drew his "early", shaded version of Diavolo on a panel, I thought he was going to be just like Doppio but quite more musculous and vicious. Then, when he confronted Polnareff (another big problem altogether - making loved characters from earlier parts appear disgraced on a sequel), Doppio went behind the Coliseum pillar… And on the other side, Diavolo appeared for the first time. My reaction was just "...Huh?" - he is completely different from Doppio, even where it doesn't make sense. I mean, what's up with his "clothes" and polka-dotted hair? Araki discarded a lovable character and design due to plot issues to make a main villain and unfortunately failed, which lead us to...
3. The finale …Yes, the finale. Watching Diavolo pummel an almost defenseless, crippled Polnareff just isn't right at all. Then, Silver Chariot Requiem just messed up everything with all of his unrelated, game-breaking powers that involved a large-scale issue, affecting thousands of people in Rome. Doppio died while Diavolo survived and Narancia was killed pointlessly just because he was inside Giorno's body - Araki got rid of TWO fan-favourite characters without even giving us time to feel sorry about their deaths. Meanwhile, Polnareff got kicked downstairs even more on the development scale because now he is a turtle (several character storymaking issues here, huh? I am not even counting Schroedinger's Buccelati issues). Conveniently, Giorno power-ups and one-hit-kills the big bad. Yes, the villain that can erase time and prevent every attack was trumped just because Giorno got god-mode powers went down in one hit. Yeah... Let's not forget the misplaced Rolling Stone flashback and the Scooby-Doo ending with Trish and Mista ("I am glad that I don't smell anymore!" "Oh Trish you rascal you!" "AHAHAHAHA")...
That's my two cents. Sorry if I was too harsh, but that's what I feel about the Part 5: Vento Aureo problems.
New thread title:
"Killing Spree, Dying Standing (not)"
@Rotten:
One thing to note though: Obito/Tobi doesnt directly blame Kakshi for Rin's death. He said "You let Rin die" and not "you killed Rin you asshole".
Thats something worth noting.
@IgorGB:
Do we have a confirmation on that translation?
"You let her die" and "You made her die" (as in "she died because of you") can be ambiguous in Japanese.
Just saying. Again.

This. Just saying…
Please, please, please!
Could anyone send me a link to see the other Kinnikuman tributes? I really like that serie but I couldn't find one!
Please?
OK I honestly can't see what's wrong in the Naruto one. All the others I got.
Hint: look below his neck.
Kinnikuman:
!
You really are, Suguru. You are the best!
Was rewatching Little Garden when I stumbled upon this. I won't be surprised if something similar was already posted before.
I just laughed out loud right now. Kudos!
FABULOUS Zoro~
Gee, you're looking kinda cool, Hancock.
QUALITY.
Zoro is so bad at directions that even his arms doesn't know where to go.
What the hell…
QUALITY again.
Damn… Law's power is pretty neat! Although he did said that he has a problem. Bet your ass that Ope Ope No Mi curses the eater so he can't cause real harm to anyone! Although he did knockout that Yeti with a countershock.
(First time posting after so much lurking)
That would be certainly fitting!
It's like Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, said: "Do no harm".
