Man, I'm glad for checking out this manga. It's awesome!
Also frog girl ftw.
Man, I'm glad for checking out this manga. It's awesome!
Also frog girl ftw.
Giorno is as bland as eating styrofoam. That's all.
Man, if there's one thing I've noticed these latest chapters is that Gintama is much better than Naruto and Bleach, especially at fight choreography.
Still no Vergo. :getlost:
The end is so close I can almost taste it.
Personally, Part 3 seems like far and away the worst part in the series, probably only becoming so popular because of its general coolness and entertainment factor. I mean, the plot and character development are practically nonexistent. It hardly even qualifies as a story.
Oh yeah, let's go with that "true fans of JoJo hate Part 3" thing again…
About 7th Stand User, We really need a guide about Avdol's psyhological test. I just wanna know how to get each of them!
Mediocre\is\still\a\strong\word.
You don't really know what mediocre means, do you? It just means "average".
Still waiting on some Punk Hazard goodness.
Robin looks awful for some reason.
That's because she is looking even more generic than the manga now.
It bothers me on how the Punk Hazard enemies haven't been shown yet. I don't really expect Vergo or Monet to be playable (even if they have potential), though Ceasar Clown just has to be playable.
This last episode was just beautiful. I even teared up a little in the end…
@The:
I did it, I caught up completely with JoJo, which only took about ten weeks to complete, but that's what happens when you depend on a crappy boat internet to load pages. I'll have to do a bit of thinking and rank the parts and have a little explanation, but I'm concentrating on getting home today, so that's the last thing on my to do list at this point. All I will say is that it's an amazing series, and I liked all the parts. I can start being a part of this thread and read everything now, without getting spoiled. Now I have to decide on the next series to read, it will be a shorter series most likely.
Oh, congratulations! Now you're officially a member of the JoJodom.
What's your favorite stands?
@Devil:
I expected more from The Sun, honestly. Wasn't someone saying they would take 3 episodes to adapt this fight? The outcome was hilarious, anyways XD
"Oh, shit!" "Son of a bitch!" LOOOL. Can't wait for the next episode.
That's the joke, man. This fight is hyped but it ends very quickly in the manga.
Is this a sign that the final arc is coming? After all,
! Sougo is (probably) on the same ship as Kamui after all. They are pretty much the ultimate sadists of the manga, so…
Someone needs to compile a list of references in this episode.
There was Hulk, E.T, X-men (that robot was obviously Sentinel), Gunbuster's training montage and probably Rocky too, The Fly (lol), Twilight Zone and the list goes ooooooon.
There was also a Slimer (Ghostbusters) look-a-like when the ball room was shown the first time.
Let's also mention the entire genre of high school movies (especially from the 80's).
Didn't his editor at the time (just before Sabaody Arc) ask Oda to shake things up a little and that's when Oda decided to introduce the Eleven Supernova (who were supposed to be introduced later in the New World)??
If so then, I wonder who would've saved Luffy
Rayleigh, of course.
So are we gonna see only the second players in brazils team on saturday, or do you think the main team will try and redeem themselves?
To the eyes of their people, they are already a joke right now. No one cares if they manage to score 10 goals or so on the third place match.
Again with politics… Sigh
In any case, today must be Argentina's happiest day since ever!
Well, elections are this year.
Grab your tinfoil hats and leave this thread if you are going to include politics here. Please.
Incidentally, Zúñiga has been receiving death threats from a bunch of people.
Also, interestingly a bunch of Brazil's best players last match weren't Silva or Neymar … So I don't quite understand the complaining. It's not like Uruguay without Suarez.
That's just really stupid. Brazil could go through without making any bullshit calls like that.
I've been meaning to get into this anime. Is it any good?
Yes, pretty good. Go for it.
That Tiger Knee to the back looked fucking painful. Thankfully he doesn't need to be surgically intervened, but vertebrae injuries are super serious business. Neymar is really lucky to be out just for 4-6 weeks and, hopefully, not have any long lasting damage to his body afterwards.
Zúñiga probably didn't intend to hurt him that much, but the knee must've been intentional. You can't hit someone with such violence and pretend it was unintentional. The FIFA should do something about that action, cause it's stuff like this that can break a player's career, not a harmless bite to the back.
Same here… I felt his pain just by watching the slow-motion replay.
Remember Zidane's headbutt on Materazzi at the World Cup 2006's final? That was nothing compared to this and he was punished accordingly (as far as I know).
The only way it could be more serious is if that was a leg-breaking injury - literally.
This is actually a fantastic question. Given that Suarez was punished for a bite post-match, Zuniga (I think it was him) should get some sort of consequence.
This just in: Neymar suffered a bone fracture on his spine.
http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/news/y=2014/m=7/news=neymar-out-of-world-cup-2399739.html
If that's not evidence enough of how serious the shock was, nothing else is. We can't help but feel sorry for the guy.
Neymar out of the WC. 3-6 weeks to recover.
You can cheer for another team and dislike the way he plays (and I do), but we can agree that was an awful injury.
Where's FIFA's commitee right now to punish the player who did that? The judge didn't even give a yellow card!
@Mrs.:
I don't hate Brazil, but I guess I do favour their adversaries mostly because the first reason you mentioned. And Brazil is such an überclassic football country, it's nothing new when they win. It's always nicer to see some surprises.
And on top of that, they haven't been playing spectacularly well so far…
See, that's a nice reasoning we all can understand instead of "I HOPE THEY CRASH AND BURN WHILE NEYMAR BREAKS HIS LEGS AND THEY GET LYNCHED".
I try to imagine parental meetings between Gendo, Mr.Tucker, Ragyo and Gyoken.
-"And there was that time when I molested my elder daughter."
-"That's reprehensible, Mrs.Kiriyuin, you could at least try to clone her and molest the clone instead."
-"Or you could merge both of your daughters into one being. That way you can molest both of them at the same time!"
Meanwhile, Ashuraman's father just chuckles in the corner.
What is it about Germany? All I see right now is a mecha girl.
Pssst… It looks almost exactly like Evangelion's Asuka (and she is half-German).
Netherlands has never won a World Cup.
Also, Spain won the latest World Cup and they had no titles before that either.
Congratulations, Costa Rica… You've made history with one player less, an injured goalkeeper and all the physical beating. You deserved to win.
Oh man, i still feel bad for the defeat. I just went out and you can feel the sadness in the streets. This time we really thought we would go to the 5th match (all the past like 4 World Cups we've been eliminated in the 4th one). I'm gonna find someone to cuddle or spoon me
Oh, I know that feeling very well too…
@MDL:
He got a second yellow for a late foul.
Makes sense. Then again, Greece isn't even playing football as it is.
What the- That was a sudden red card! What happened?
It's okay, there, there… Mexico was the moral victor...
As much as I like Nederlands… That shouldn't have been a penalty.
Robben tried to dive a penalty ever since the first period.
@Purple:
In other words, pretty much everything not related to the actual fight was great.
Well we also got the "I ended Part 3 early!" line today, too, though, and Jotaro showing how to make your own road, so I guess the fight's only good for a few bits of dialogue.
Don't forget that Jotaro actually smiled and laughed. You don't see that every day.
if Argentina beats Brazil in the finals, I won't leave home for a week. Things will get ugly here.
Only the title matters, huh? …That's a terrible situation to get into.
Uruguay is playing to break legs like they don't care. I'm glad Colombia is dominating the game with Cuadrado and James Rodriguez.
You seem awfully upset about people not accepting Brazil as the gods of football. Had some bad experiences in the past, friend?
I could care less if they are universally liked or not. The problem is, everyone else and half of Brazil wants them to get booted out because of their "conspiracy theories". That's hardly fair either…
