I can see Blackbeard lying his way out, saying he was going, but he heard a commotion, and went to Impel Down, and pinning the blame on Magellan, saving his post.

RE: ONE PIECE: MOVIE 10 ~ Strong World
So, is it explained in the movie, or in Greg's review, why everyone is suddenly wearing suits and guns?

RE: Chapter 567 "Marineford, Marine HQ: Oris Plaza"
Any guesses as to why Garp struck first?
Because, except for family, he feels no pity to Pirates. Something he said himself in the past.

RE: Theories That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread
Is that chapter 0 canon? The timeline of characters and their ages didn't seem to be consistent with the main story. I hope it's just filler. Then I can pretend it doesn't exist.
On a different note, Aokiji seemed to hint at there being a perfectly logical explanation as to why he wasn't hurt by whitebeards (presumably) haki-charged strike. In a show that maintains unpredictability and innovation, haki looked like it was going to be the trump card to everything and ruin everything. Just like, dare I say it, that crappy sharingan in Naruro (probably the least imaginative thing ever imagined). In any case, now there is a glimmer of hope. We thought we uderstood haki but maybe we don't. Fingers crossed.
I think someone said that Chapter 0 is canon, but the recent filler and "Strong World" isn't. At least, I think that's right.

RE: The latest filler in the Anime
Yeah, this was a really bad filler, which other people covered most of the reasons why much better then I could, made worse that it interrupted the current Impel Down arc, which has been great so far, and I feel bummed to share a username with such a s***y crew like the Amigo Pirates.

RE: Questions That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread
@Super-Franky:
That's not a bad theory, except that "YONkou" means there has/had to be a fourth. Maybe they were thought of as something similar.
Ah, well, I don't know really any Japanese, but maybe they were called the same only with the word "Three" instead of "Four", I guess. I thought it meant "Pirate Emperor", then what seems to be "Four Emperors".

RE: Theories That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread
@S.C.:
This is probably a really stupid and previously asked question, but back in the day, could Whitebeard, Roger, and Shiki be thought of as the original Yonkou? I mean, all three seemed to be the top Pirates of that era.
That's good. You should post that in the theories thread.
So, I've got a bit of a theory on what Kaidou used to be before becoming a Yonkou. See, I think he used to be a division leader (A guy in charge of 1/5 of Shiki's 50 ships, not counting the Flagship) of Shiki's fleet back in the day, who survived the weather change and counter-attack of Roger's crew in their battle in Ch. 0. After Shiki got beaten and sent to Impel Down by Garp and Sengoku, and temporarily reclaimed his crew until he left to go start his hybrid army after Whitebeard refused to help him, Kaidou took over what was left of Shiki's fleet, and has been going on since.
So, nowadays, what is the Yonkou to me, is Whitebeard, the only original member left, Shanks, the successor of Roger, Kaidou, the successor of Shiki, and the 4th one, who might have been a Supernova that managed to become strong enough to be recognized as a Yonkou.
Well, probably not, but it is a neat idea, I think, and better then the "Crocodile is weak to Diamonds" one I did earlier.

RE: What makes Raftel so hard to get to?
Well, now that this got bumped up, I got a dumb, but plausible one:
The reason why no one has reached it yet, is because the way to it is bogged down by the Great Powers. As seen recently, no Yonkou moves without a second Yonkou doing the same, and possibly a third one on him, as seen with Kaidou trying to intercept Whitebeard, with Shanks intercepting him. Also, the brunt of the Shichibukai resides here, like Kuma, Doflamingo, Hancock, when she's ordered to, Jimbei, until he quit, and Moria, until Kaidou sent him packing. Crocodile, as we know, hung out in Arabasta, and Mihawk just goes wherever he wants. And also, the most powerful fleets of the Marines are also there. As such, no one really can go anywhere past this blockade, so many Pirate crews ally with a Yonkou, as seen with Whitebeard, so if the blockade ends, they have a chance to advance. Also, I imagine a sizeable chunk of it is lawless, as the Yonkou probably have control over indivudal Islands as territory, probably like the real-life Tortuga Bay and Port Royal. So, once Maineford is done, it seems like all three of the Great Powers has taken some hits, and are now kind of weakened, leaving people like the Supernovas to try and break through.
Well, that's just a thought anyways.

RE: Chapter 566 "Fierce Attack" Discussion
If Sengoku falls, who is going to take over?
Akainu? He is the most feverent follower of Absoulte Justice of the three Admirals, and has that whole "Whatever it takes for Justice to prevail" vibe.

RE: Uh, hello.
Hello, Amigo.
Welcome to AP Forums! I hope you enjoy your stay and tend to bond along with our community.
Well, it definetly helps me to keep up with the new Maineford Arc, and allow me to think of crackpot theories, so that's good.

When you put it that way, it does make more sense then. Well, nevermind on this one.

RE: Theories That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread
I made sure to scan the pages here when it was revealed, but if someone already thought of it, my apologies.
So, Ivankov has stated that Crocodile has a third weakness besides Seastone and Water. Later on, Jozu attacks him, but assuming that he was in his Logia form, it still hurt him. I don't know if it's said that Jozu has Haki, but could the third weakness be Diamonds? Yeah, I know it doesn't make much sense, but as a former Ruler, Ivankov might have a couple on his/her person, and after all, Diamonds are a girl's best friend, and he has become one in the past.
Well, it does sound stupid, but hey, why not?

Uh, hello.
Hi, I'm a guy with a really terrible username, and a intrest in this show. I'm not a huge Anime/Manga fan, but One Piece is one of those few I do enoy, so I thought a profile here could help me stay connected.
So, it is nice to be here.
