I think Buggy is essential for Luffy to achieve his dream.
Afterall becoming pirateking would mean characters like Morgans would swarm Luffy, so to get the peace he desires, it would benefit Luffy, when someone like Buggy would get the glory.
In the eyes of the world Buggy would be the one, while Luffy has the freedom to do as a pleases without THAT much focus on him. (I mean most would know Luffy regardless)

The chapter felt like old school uncovering mysteries of a new island.
My first thought was they were in a playing castle of Loki...like a branch of Yggdrasil dedicated to a man-child.
I love that such discoveries still can happen from time to time.
And composing with 13 something that people enjoy 250years later, just astounding.
I`m really interested how this project turns out to be, because for me the anime is the weakest part of One Piece. (excluding some recent anime parts)
So while i personally see the project not going the whole distance (maybe reaching 25-50% of the whole story) it still could give us a proper beginning of the story in anime form, which would be huge.
While it sure would suck when the project turns out to be good and never finished, it´s still a pleasure to see new people do something great with this awesome property.
And after all, with having the manga on my shelf, i always will have the story in a format i truely enjoy and every attempt to give it some new spotlight to the world is good in my books.

Otherwise he could have climed the redline somewhere else or even went around Maryjoa once on top of it.
For me it looks like a calculated act to get some attention. (that´s why he soon stopped and continued his journey)
Maybe something along the line, when my memory bubble is touched, i will bring attention to myself and (most likely) go to the place my bubble bursted.
Vegapunk had this in mind as a last favour, because so Bonney might get her last chance of seeing him even as a mindless cyborg, but after knowing the whole truth.
I can even imagine him building in a secret reverse option in Kuma seeing Bonney or even JoyBoy to gain back his conciousness.
One question about Kuma remains for me.
Why was he now attacking Maryjoa, was this an extra build in condition by Vegapunk just like him protecting the Thousand Sunny?
How Kuma will be known as a tyrann is intriguing.
Also Ginny being MVP to have such a masterplan to bring all those partys to the island to get the chaos they needed, well played.
Iam a bit sour not getting to see Rocks and just getting a first glimpse to a full GodValley flashback, but Oda made me used to getting teased over the years...but i thought we´re in the final stretch where everything gets revealed but Oda just can´t help himself in keeping a few aces up his sleeve^^
Just watched a bit of reverse mountain and it´s hilarious to see that Luffy challenges LaBoum to a rematch, which is nowadays an actually easy win for Luffy^^
Imu gets more and more into the spotlight as the main villain to overcome.
With him likely being immortal because of the op-op-no mie might get us an opportunity for him having actually having a tragic past.
The former op-op-no mie user sacrificing himself for Imu, who swore to fulfill his dream or something along that line.
After all these years i could also see it as a curse in Imu´s eyes, that made him distant from the world and by now a cruel ruler.
The coverpages normally depict a scene with each SH, so still 7 to come after Luffy,Frany and Chopper already had one...having a random character in between each SH cover might suggest 14 more non coverstory covers incoming.
Add to that 1-2 more colorspreads it might be time for a new one in chapter 1101 or 1102.

So a lot of stuff that has to be adressed in one form or another.
My guess right now would be Egghead takes another 2-3 volumnes, after that Elbaf with maybe 5 volumnes, Loadstar and other open story parts might take 3 volumnes. The final war including fights against BB pirates and Imu/subordinates (4 volumnes alone those fights) might take 12 volumnes.
1-2 volumne for what happens after all is done and fulfilling SH crew dreams to end it all.
So 20-25 more volumnes overall would leave the series with around 1300-1350 chapters in the end.
So it going for another 5-6 years, maybe Oda combining a lot of things could bring it to 4-5 years, but can´t picture Oda not setting up the conclusions of the story properly, which takes time with his vast character line up.
Oda´s take on it being "awesome" would be before the cgi, which makes or breaks the deal...also him saying anything bad would just be hilarious and already doom the project.
Iam still in high hopes, but it generating a hype like GoT i don´t see happening.
I bought (for quiet some money) Liar Game, to reread it again in physical form.
Still a series i deeply enjoy, Squid Game meets Kaiji with some psychological games to overcome from rounf to round.
Can people cooperate and be trusted, while the main characters get some cool anatagonists to go against.
CP0 i can´t see as much more than a minor inconvience for this arc, but i guess the SHs have to overcome a seraphim.
Just when will Vegapunk spill the beans about DFs, thats what iam most anticipating right now^^
Watched the movie last week in theaters here.
Almost a musical with the by now typical cameos of known characters.
The song "Ado" i enjoyed and Uma was a pretty nice character.
Didn´t like the finale that much, but at least there was more Shanks in it, than i hoped for^^
I wonder if the SHs will encounter their first seraphim.
Maybe a group effort just with their first pacefista.
Finally came to play Shadow of the colossus during my summer holiday.
Awesome game, with a fantastic world and great puzzly bossfights.
One less game on my "have to play it one day"-list :)

Luffy now being the favourite in match-ups might be a problem for some fights, but against many opponents, it was never the question "can Luffy defeat them", but how he will do it and what obstacles they will have for him.
Like Foxy, Moria and Hody.
That may be the role for future opponents like Weevil or some admiral.
The real big guys Luffy has to face in the end of the story, BB, Imu and Akainu might not be lightyears ahead anymore, but still will need all Luffy has and a bit more to overcome.
We might miss the underdog goes aginst a foe bigger than life, but honestly Luffy is now in the end game of the story where nobody should ever underestimate him or see him as a brat anymore.
Luffy will get fights on equal grounding for the title and BB and Imu we ain´t even aware of what their peak might bring to the table.

In my opinion Luffy was comparable with Enel, in being death for a few seconds.
Enel used his DF to cardio himself back, while Luffy i assume used his DF in compensating the final blow by Kaido into his body, into his heart until the smallest point was reached, where his power snapped back the shockwave into his system.
