I haven´t seen this topic so I made it.
Can someone give me a link where I can download Conan - Case Closed episodes?
Please! I need them!
Detective Conan (Case Closed)
-
-
You won't be able to find them. Despite Conan's popularity there are very few Conan sites and none of them have episodes. Sorry.
-
Damn…guess they do. I'm going to that site!!!!
-
ahh…Conan...
I loved it as a kid : )
but I got tired it after volume 40 cuz it WON'T END XDDD
...
waiting to buy the end volume ; P -
It seems that Gosho Aoyama, the creator of Detective Conan, got married back in May…
…to Minami Takayama.
Now, two things immediately come to mind:
- Congratulations, and I hope that your lives together are happy!
- Why do I have this sense of deja vu?
-
Well, congrats to Aoyama. Nice sig pic by the way..pretty funny.
-
Awesome how he got Conan/Yaiba, and Oda got Nami.
-
Who's Minami Takayama  ? (I didn't get what Buc said…)
-
She's Conan's seiyuu on the show. Oda married a woman who plays Nami at OP Stage shows.
Anyways congrats to Aoyama-san, and all the best.
-
Gosho got married to minami takayama!!!!!
thats so shocking! Minami is one of my favorite seiyuus in Japan! So now she'll be called Gosho Minami…umm which is the last name? Gosho or Aoyama?
Hehehe its funny how the creators get married to their characters---indirectly, does that mean Kishimoto will marry haruno sakura???just for laughs okay.
Im sure you people might also know that togashi--YuYu Hakusho and HxH author married Takeuichi Naoko--sailormoon author.
-
She is also one of the members in the band TWO-MIX. They did Opening 5 for Detective Conan.
-
so.. that's how mangaka's hookup with girls.. interesting..

-
Congradulations to Gosho! But I hope being married doesn't take away from his manga writing.
-
When I first heard this, I literally screamed
I don't know whether I was screaming for Aoyama Gosho or Takayama Minami, but ….. it just seemed ... weird at first. I've calmed down now though lol.
-
Congratulations to both Gosho Aoyama and Minami Takayama. Wow!
-
Oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh man oh maaaaannnn~!!!!
I sure do love this manga. It's so long and addicting like crank, but I can't find enough of it.
I'm under the impression that not too many people around here are mystery/horror fans, but still, there might be a couple outliers in the mix!
-
Love the series, occaisonally there'll be a case that seems a little stale but overall the series is still great. I don't keep up too much with the Japanese manga, mainly because I can't find it anywhere, but the English manga is great.
I enjoy the closed room style mysteries it uses, that style of mystery story isn't used as often as it should.

scans for all chapters of the manga seem to be here if you want em
-
i never felt like reading this manga, sounds average to me. and a bit childish. but i must be wrong, seeing how a lot of people are enjoying it.
-
Yep, it's long and addicting.
I like the whole surching for indications/discussing the motive/finding the proof - thing.
But IMO there is a huge variety of the quality of the cases, especially in the anime, and the main storyline could develop faster.
I still love it. -
I have an original Japanese Conan manga that I got off a guy in high school, at least six years ago or so. Apparently he was sorting out his manga collection and one of my friends told me.
-
I first saw the anime on Adult Swim, not knowing that the title was originally Detective Conan.
-
I enjoyed it very much during its run on Adult Swim…too bad they stoppes showing new episodes after a point.
I don't think I would be able to stand to read something as mind jumbling as detective stories. So if I wear to ever seen anymore of Conan it would be of the FUNimation dub. Yes, I don't think I could even handle subtitles on this type of series.
-
Love this series. Was my favorite, infact, before I started reading past the Viz releases of One Piece.
-
It's on the 4 hour block of Funimation TV I get on Dish on the Colours TV channel. Haven't watched alot of it though.
-
WAIT A MINUTE!
…
I was reading a Conan chapter and thinking, "who scanslates this anyway? Must be a defunct group..." then I looked at the back of the chapter and what did I find?

Man, NULL is once again my hero. Let us all make a pilgrimage to IRC!

WOOO CONAN~!
sets off fireworks
Conan is my favourite series, I've watched about a good 60% of the anime, a good … 15% of the manga.. and all 10 movies.
My two favourite characters are Hattori Heiji and Kaitou KidI also refuse to call it by "Case Closed" as the dub infuriates me with 90% of the characters getting name changes and horrid voices.
-
I wouldn't mind watching more of it beyond what was shown on adult swim. Does anyone know where to get the dub via torrent or IRC?
-
I've been reading for about five days now and I'm only on volume fourteen. Sheesh…
...
Hey, I just read about Conan's father being drunk and having lipstick on his shirt; you lot don't think...? OH SHI-
-
Recently started the manga and loving it :D.
Just curious does anyone know where to find Vol. 8+ of the manga that Blink worked on? -
Not sure about "Blink" but you can find most of the DC chapters at MangaViewer.
-
oh wow, I can't believe I miss a thread like that.
I just love Detective Conan. I've been reading it since forever in french. Ages before it became a hit in english.
I'm up to volume 45 and I probably should update since 51 got out a few months ago.I really need to buy more manga.
-
I do like Detective Conan but i hate those bad name changes
-
Big DC fan since I first saw cased closed on Swim (pityh it didn't seem to do well enough for a second season) Just wish I noticed this thread sooner. I just reread the series and now I got to go though this…
scans for all chapters of the manga seem to be here if you want em
and see if they have the cases that for me were only 1 or (worse) 2 out of 3 chapters of a case. I do know it seems to have the later stuff so it's a good sign.
-
^In the US version?
-
Well translated at least. Got to say the chapter list makes it easier to find missing chapters.
-
Thanks to that site that was linked to I think I'm gonna read it. But I just started reading the Trigun manga, so gotta finish that first.
-
Just because I didn't say so earlier, the best DC chapters are those involving Kid the Phantom Thief; they're easily the most exciting, followed up by Black Organization related material, thefts, and then the murders, which are the most inane.
Frankly, I'm sick and tired of Vermouth's stupid catchphrase, "a secret is what makes a woman a woman". Man, I wish Ener could fry her with an El Thor everytime she says that idiotic sentence.
@Miss:

It's actually not a very high seller in English; Viz has its best translators workinig on DC since it's extremely hard to localize and is VERY long, but there isn't that much appeal since American manga readers apparently don't like detective stories.
-
Yeah Kid cases are great, though for me Heiji is number 2.
Personaly I think the problem is most people don't understand how many topic manga cover. After all american comics are for the most part all action. I know before I really got in to manga (Heck even after) I had no idea there would be ones based on cooking or sports.
-
Yes, Y!! Japan shocked us all.

lol the way she says that in the anime makes me laugh so much XD
everything relates to BO and Kid are the best ones XD
-
I love this series, but there's just too many chapters for me to keep up with, all 589 fabulous chapters of brainbusters.
-

I'm the same way, i first saw it on Adult Swim, would be nice if i can find out if there is dubbing for this
-
I
Detective Conan. I've seen all the movies, most of the TV series, and read all the manga out so far.
Got a big plushie of the little runt sitting on top of my TV.
I also agree with Kid being the best. Well, Kid and Heiji. They both rock.
-
Ok….
now...I've read the first 7 volumes(what a great read) on MSN Groups, which was a blast! I really like it. Problem is I can NOT find scanlations anywhere.
PS: I refuse to follow a link to a site, because the last Detective Conan download site gave my spyware and adware.
Recommendations?

In the end, there is only one Truth… Conan Rocks XD
I've been watching the anime, mostly because they filler it up a lot, and Surprizingly they have a team who can Write GREAT Filler!!
I've been watching the series in order with the movies Speckled in where they originally played (like Kaizoku does with the OP movies) so right now im on Movie 3: The Last Magician of the Century, and then I got to eo 140!
Also, Movie 3 is Awesome, and as I'm seeing a lot of Kaitou Kid and Heiji Love here, I reccomend it to you all. for those of you who read the manga, It takes place right after Ai Haibara first appears (other than her name, I wont say anything so I wont ruin it)
but Basically, the Movie has a Crime by the Kaktou Kid and Shinichi and Heiji have to work TOGETHER to solve it!! ^_^ -
Detective Conan is totally awesome. I´ve read ALL chapters so far (except for the last one that needs to get translated) and I can spoilerfree asure you, that the quality of the series doesn´t drop.
What I like most about the series is that large main story line that pops up every now and then only to be delayed again by minor case´s that by themselves are very entertaining. On that field it is the same as One Piece actually. It really is a great series and me is waiting for my next fix already.
-
I want to try reading the manga but the last time I downloaded a chapter the quality was really bad. So how much of the manga is bad quality, because I can ignore it for a few volumes but if its too many then I won't even bother.
I've also seen all the movies and most of the show and personally my favorite is the main character, Shinichi Kudo. Kaito Kid is cool and all but he seems to always know everything at all times, even people like Shinichi and Heiji struggle with things.

Check the first page.
BTW, just curious do you recommend watching ALL the movies? Cuz I saw one where that teen guy whose from Osaka or something helping them solve some kind of theft/forgery and that Kaito Kid was in it, but it wasn't all interesting IIRC.
