However… I dislike the ADC-distro banner on your homepage that requires you to pay for fansubbed anime. I realize it's likely for the bandwidth but isn't like the biggest no-no charging for fansubed anime in any case?

In fact ADC-Distro makes people pay for the ddl servers… It's like 3$ a month I think, and ADC-Elites is nothing but publicity to them so... x.x

Thanks everyone once again for the nice words ^-^ The script is times, TLed and edited, now gotta send it to wickio so he finishes the job =) No idea how long that'll take again, had some issues this week as well as we got the raw late sunday, then school during the week, long episode and blablabla x___x Seems like One Piece will start airing a lil bit sooner by october, let's just pray that the raw provider follows and that it solves this issue. Working during weekend is better than having to do it during school night with exams on the following day x_x

actually, I am kind of curios, has ADC been getting a lot of flaming, and nasty e-mails asking when the episodes will be released? I know you were several weeks ago, and you put your foot down. Just wondering if that stopped anything?

BTW, just had a good laugh at the person who got the "official" thread closed. "I'm sick of checking the site every few hours" good god, get a freaking life. That is a sad sad thing.

i was reading the adc forums and you can feel the frustration and tension a mile off, sadly i understand where the fans are coming from despite being completely against their actions. with the eratic schedules of late, it's easier to reach a state of panic where you feel like adc is going the way of geru sama. my only question in regards to the whole delay thing is whether or not ADC still consider themselves speedsubbers? if the case is no then that's fine and i'll know just to wait for it whenever where as if they are i really do get anxious waiting the day or two. ultimately i miss the days of them being like DB are to Bleach, but things change and i accept that.

Honestly, as far as I'm concerned, as long as the episode gets released before the next episode airs, I'd still consider it a speed sub. Only when it takes longer than a week do I not considerit it a speed sub anymore. Cause if you take longer than a week, every week, you just end up falling further and further behind.

But even if the episode didn't get subbed until the Sunday after it aired, I'm still fine with it. As long as I get my one episode a week(unless of course they aren't airing an episode a week, as OP is often to do).

I don't have a problem waiting until the next RAW episode is released, but I wonder if maybe something happened to a member of ADC's team (injury, sickness, etc.) that has slowed them down this week? I hope that isn't the case.

But anyways, this episode should be like 3x better since I amped it up in my head lol.

nah speedsubbers get a release out within 48hrs of the raw coming out. normal fansubbers tend to be whenever. but when you know not to expect it quickly you tend to just forget about the urgency of wanting to watch it.

eh, I still consider them to be speedy. Especially with how busy their life is right now. And elzacko, to add to what phyco wolvesbane said, they also have to sub, not one, but tho episodes this week, which is twice the work.

sounds like they are almost done though…I read somewhere earlier. It was passed of to wickido. I think he's the last guy in the subbing prossess. Though, I get the feeling, he is also the most busy with life, at the moment.

Anyone with itchy fingers, go find some other anime to ocupy yourself with....or go try and answer my question in the "one liner question" thread, if your bored. ;)

I have a question. When the fights start happening do you guys at adc think the episodes will come out faster or will we still have to wait this "long"*, since they don't have as much dialouge. Does it work that way?

*= i mean slower then the normal releases, but its all good adc.

No one, the truth is the people complaining are probably new to the whole downloading OP thing. When they'll release they'll release, we all know this, but new people don't. Do you know how often I'm sure the question of new episodes has come up at KF? If the person is misinformed don't call them ignorant, when they're clearly misinformed.

So guys don't make a big deal of all this, obviously people that have been downloading OP for many years now know the deal, but obviously there will be new people that will complain because they don't know any better.

Then again, some people just like to bitch because they have nothing better to do. And then again. ADC doesn't really read their e-mails because.. I'd go into it but f** it, like I said, don't worry about it, it's probably misinformed people.

So how do i go about in resolving this problem...Cause as far i see it, i only use the channel to see the latest news in what's happening..

You have to register with Nickserv most likely Solarblade.

It's been so long since I did that, I sort of forgot though.

And it's probably to keep all the complainers out, they only allow people in and once they start complaining they unregister their address so they can't get back in, etc.

And as for the fights, Warp, I think it will take a little less time but take into account that they have to make attack animations as well.

Keep up the good work ADC! I'm so excited for this episode. Listening to Brand New World so much isn't helping me keep my mind off of it.

1. Connect to the server as usual.
2. Change your nick to the one you want, if you aren't under that nick already.
3. Type "/msg nickserv register yourpasswordhere youremail@whatever.com" if you haven't already. I know I'm repeating instructions here, but that's only for part of it.
4. Whenever you connect to the same server afterwards, when you change to your registered nick it'll ask you to identify it. So you put in "/msg nickserv identify password" and you're good.

Additionally, if you don't want to manually identify your nick every time, you can go to Tools -> Options -> Connect -> Options and click the "Perform…" button. Then check "Enable Perform on connect", and type in the /msg nickserv id stuff from step 4. I have it on two lines for this, so when I click the Connect button it changes my nick AND identifies it one right after the other. So in the Perform box you'd put:

/nick yournick
/msg nickerv identify yournickpass

It's important to put them in two lines, and not all on the same line. I hope that helped. :o Oh! And on some servers you may have to wait a minute or so after changing your nick before you can register it.

EDIT: Okay my bad, Rizon works differently for regging new nicks. O.o I just registered there, and my passcode went through just fine. I just copypasted it from the e-mail text.

Heh. Really people should not care if it runs slow. ADC is putting out a Service… free of charge I might add. And not only that, but Superb quality. (I still think ADC's are better than K-F's, at most points) So really, it should not matter if they takes a mere hour more, days, or even weeks to put it together. In the long run, it will be done when they are done. Live with it. :)

That said. Can't wait Wickio, regardless how long till they go up .

if it takes 3 weeks then we wouldn't be up to date. You should know that you can wait several days but more then a week can kill ya, especially if its two episodes in a week. I've been coming here to see if it came out every hour that I've been up, hoping that it would be finished.

dameon_reaper, that's all fine and dandy. But who cares if not up to date? The Manga is at the end of the arc, it'll take quite more than 3 weeks to catch up to that point. Two episodes or not, it is better that people do not rely on these things to be done the same day, the next day, two days later… Weekly is great, but if they can't do it, there is no foul. You can't complain about this, when you are not giving anything at all in return. Different would be stated if you were paying for the service.

Oh and Dameon, this wasn't directed at just you, lol sorry if it came out that way above.

I wasn't complaining about them, I was just saying how hard it is to wait for something, especially since I've been waiting since monday. A bad complaint would be like someone coming in and start to curse and speak bad about the subbing group who's doing it because they are late.
