I'm surprised that the /b/ blimp didn't address "battletoads", but it was still hillariously entertaining; it's a bit misleading, though, since the creative energy put into framing that alliteration is the very antithesis of what /b/ is. I was almost inspired to go there after reading it…but then I remembered how much I hate it. ^^;

"battletoads" is a sarcastic response to whenever someone asks for the source of an anime/manga/novel on Yotsuba. It was taken arbitrarily from a generic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles knock-off from the 1980's; ironically, one of the female characters (an antagonist) apparently "looks good" and therefore is one of the reasons "battletoads" is so staying.

I know that, and "Combat Frogs" is the sarcastic term used to reference Battletoads when the OP or someone else is trying to get someone to say "Battletoads".
