It's because you're direct linking from msn. You need to upload the pictures to imageshack or photobucket.

it all started with this:
this gimmick started back maybe a couple months (last year?) ago, when apparently the entire internet including myself finally decided to spread the word that garfield wasn't funny. It really isn't. Hasn't been since 1990.
later, people started making mock comic strips, and 4chan hopped right onto the bandwagon. Among the strips was "garfield go back to bed," spawning the meme.

I find it weird that I thought of that, too. Yeah, Cell does look a bit like Blackface. I remember hearing some parents complained about Mr. Popo looking like Blackface, too.

There's this imageboard called "4chan". On "4chan" there's an imageboard called "/b/", which is the random board. Anything goes on "/b/" (or rather, that's how things were prior to August 2006); some Anonymous saw screens of Imperfect Cell from Dragonball Z and recoloured the photographs to look blackface. Anonymous then used the dubbing lines from FUNimation's first DBZ dub (with "lasers"), and, in an exaggerated southern slang, came up with the phrase, "Imma chargin' mah lazer". "Shoop da whoop" is onomatopoeia for the sound firing one's ki makes (ergo, it's the "lazer"'s sound).
It's not that hard to understand, and by now it's less funny than it used to be. Basically put, someone made that macro with the intent to be a little offensive, dumb, and funny at the same time. Jeez. ~.~;
