All I know is he amazes me with each episode, not for its comedy, but for the fact that he can sound like anyone from the dub. You know…excluding the women and the people he purposely have sound different. (Rex & Wevil, I'd say Tristian but he sounded like him in the episode his voice got killed)

Well, it's not so much that, it's just that I wonder how long he'll want to keep doing this. You can only be so funny before you're just stupid, and though I don't think it'll happen in this case, I wonder if the effort to keep it funny will be worth the comments.

Yup, Toei version, aka: "Season Zero". The Toei version is a 27 episode series produced back in 1998 which stays a little closer to Kazuki Takahashi's first few volumes of the original manga, that is, its not so much focused on the cards as it is Yugi challenging a random antagonist to a shadow game and ending in some spooky results.
It was commonly believed that this was the first season of the Yu-Gi-Oh we know and that it was "skipped" by 4kids. But it's really a separate series that just wasn't licensed. IMO, we didn't really miss much, Season Zero's OK, but it isn't really isn't that good. Stick with the manga.

No, I think that's some filler character they randomly added in. Bakura's definentally there because he RPs as Zork in the RPG they play.

That's Miho, a girl that Honda/Tristan had a crush on in the manga for one chapter before he got shot down. It was in one episode where he bought some valentine puzzle for her and the bitchy teacher stole it to embaress him and Miho.

Bakura actually appears in the last two or so episodes to play that RPG. And yeah, in an odd twist, Toei took a rather unimportant character and wrote her in as part of the main clique.
