Again, fast. I'm actually excited that this arc is ending, but not out of hatred of anything. I like the idea that we're getting to the Davy back fight soon. And I never really saw the G8 arc.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to Skypiea ending too, not because I'm not enjoying it but because I haven't seen DBF animated and haven't seen G8 at all, although it's filler, it seems like a much less annoying one.
And this also means my boyfriend finally gets to watch Skypiea because he's waiting for it to all be released first.

Finally ep 192 is around the corner. I´ve been waiting so long to see if the episode I´ve seen here was a screw up by the german dubbers or by Toei. I hope it was the german dubbers cause the other option would suck.

For me, Skypiea is on par with Alabasta. It won't be until the arrival of Ao Kiji that things start to get that good again.
Exactly, he sure does bring some excitement with the Hie Hie no Mi, which is pretty impressive. Although, I can't wait to actually see the other two Admirals faces and abilities.

I have to say that while reading the manga version of Skypiea, it seemed to drag on and on and on and bored me to tears at points.
But the anime version has been nothing but excellent and has made Skypiea one of my favorite (or maybe even favorite) One Piece arc.

It´s not what was said, it was that there was almost no background music during the climax. It was pretty sucky especially if you compare the anime climax of Crocodile´s defeat which is one of the occasions where the anime totally owns the manga. And it´s mostly thanks to the background music. But in the german dub it was gone and I really hope that it is their doing instead of Toei´s.
