Alright, did a search and didn't see a thread for this wonderful tv show.
Who else is watching the latest incarnation of Doctor Who?

ooo! Me! Me! I am puts up hand this current series is pretty pwnsome, Mark Gatiss (League of Gentlemen) is writing a couple of the episodes so ^_^
Me, it's a great series. Been a fan of Doctor Who as long as I can remember and I was thrilled when it started again.
Last series was good but I think this series is 2x as good Tennant is a better Doctor then Eccelstone IMO. I loved the cybermen episodes (anything with Trigger in it is an automatic win!) although Micky's whining about not being appreiciated by the doctor was a bit stupid
! ..and it was obvious he'd stay when he saw his Nan was still alive.

Pretty much my opinion.
My mum is a Doctor Who fan and I grew up watching eps. I wasn't as big a fan as she is but I still enjoy it.
I watch it. I never saw many eps of the original series but I felt like I ought to watch this as its a Sci-fi legend reborn.
Yes it was kinda obvious that Mickey would stay. And I am glad he did. Now maybe Rose will stop being as whiney about having to share "her" Doctor.
And apparently there is a rumor that K-9 might be getting his own show. Yay K-9!

K-9 is getting his own children's show..
@Wikipedia:
K-9 Adventures will be a 26-part comedy/adventure series focusing on the adventures of the robot dog K-9, done in a mixture of computer animation and live action. K-9 originally appeared in the 1977 Doctor Who serial The Invisible Enemy and was a companion of the Fourth Doctor from 1977 to 1981.
Each episode will be 30 minutes long, made by Jetix Europe and London-based distribution outfit Park Entertainment. The project is being overseen by K-9's co-creator Bob Baker.
According to a report in Broadcast magazine, the BBC opted out of involvement in order to focus on their own Doctor Who spin-off, Torchwood, meaning that BBC-owned characters like the Doctor are unlikely to appear in the series. A broadcast date for the series has not been announced.
The program is to be set in outer space, and Jetix is planning a range of interactive toys to accompany the series.
I don't have my hopes set on that one but I guess we'll have to wait and see how it turns out.
What I remember about Doctor Who was his long scarf. Anyway, does this new incarnation have the Daleks in them?

the doctor with the long scarf was Tom Baker. The new incarnation DID have the daleks, during the Eccelstone saga as it were. They discovered the last remaining dalek in a museum. The Daleks were also in the season finale with the Dalek Emperor making an apperance.
I used to like the old Daleks that got pwned by stairs better myself….they were so funny.
gah that episode was freaky…
Yeah im watching Doctor Who.I only just started watchin the new series , and havn't watched any of the old series except i only remember watchin an old clip with a card box thing last year.Im not a big fan of doctor Who, but the new series rock so far.
I love Doctor Who too =) Record the series every saturday night. It sucks that my friends have no clue what I'm on about when I'm talking about the Doctor, cause they're obviously missing out on a masterpiece. At least I have AP forums to chat about the Daleks.
Love the pic Advent'
This is one show I definetly don't have to download as I live in England and have access to BBC1. It feels great knowing there's something so great on show here that foriegners are jealous of that fact.
P.S. The new Daleks can fly.

Indeed, the BBC is good for something…
Yeah, the only thing they're good for is being the creators of Doctor Who.
And also loads of good comedies ^_^
Oh my gosh that episode with the gas masks was by far the creepiest one yet.
I must admit, I was a little disappointed at first when the doctor regenerated. Personally I loved the ninth doctor. Played by the wonderful Chris Eccelston. But David is starting to win my heart as the doctor.
And it is going to be a kid's show? Heh…maybe I will download it for my daughter to watch then.
Someone cosplayed as the doctor with the long scarf at ACEN. I huggled him a lot.
Plus we cannot forget about Captain Jack. I hope we get to see him again some day.
Jack will be getting his own spin off series "Tourchwood", and will be appearing again in the 3rd Series. It'll be interesting how he reacts to the new Doctor. I'm not sure if he'll re-join the group though due to his ties with Tourchwood.
I figured Jack would be in the series "Torchwood." I just wasn't sure if it would be as guest appearances or not. But I can't wait for that series to start.
Yes I wonder how he will take to the tenth doctor.
Doctor Who? Never heard of that, is that some Dr. Seuss shit?

You must be very very VERY young.
Doctor Who is a long-running British science fiction television programme produced by the BBC about a mysterious time-travelling adventurer known only as "The Doctor".
Well that explains it. Its british.
And yes, I am young. 15-years-old.
@Advent`:
You must be very very VERY young.
If he's 15 and you're calling him very very VERY young, then may I ask how old you are?
P.S. If you looked on his profile it says he was born on October 18th 1990 to see he was 15.
Anyway back to Doctor Who.
Last week's episode kinda disappointed me. To watch such an uneventful episode after the Cybermen two part was really well disappointing.
Though I must admit, it was kinda neat to see clips of the Queen's coronation.
yea I watched that one last night, I found it pretty good, although not as good as the Cybermen lol but still, it was a Gatiss episode so that automatically makes it good lol
wow, just saw the Ood episode, it was pretty pwnsome lol better than last weeks. Anyways, anyone from the UK know the time, date and channel in which the new eps come on? I know BBC 3 on a friday aint where the brand new eps come out lol
Channel: BBC1
Day: Saturday
Time:19:00
cheers, just watched it lol, anyways all I can say about next episode: NOooooooooooooo! Not Peter Kay! Anyways, this 2nd part was pretty cool too, though I aint gonna spoil it for people lol
Look like in the next episode all those fans or conspiracy nuts finally catch up with the Doctor, well that's the downside to being the stuff of legends.
While it was better than last week's episode, it still wasn't that great. I think the defeat of the "devil" was too easy and too fast. And actually during the first part of this set, I groaned when he called himself the devil. But it didn't turn out too bad.
I give this two parter a 8 out of 10 tardises.
Okay, I still never seen this but that devil kicked ass! It made me jump too.
lol omni, I thought you were saying turdises for a moment there.
And yea, I loved the Devil in that episode, brought back old memories of Horny from Dungeon Keeper (no, its not a porno)
the only thing I didn't like about this ep, and I could see it coming was the ending, where he found the tadis, it just happened to be there lol. Apart from that it was great, I also liked the bit where they were in the air ducts lol, it was funny and sorta sad where whats his face stayed behind
Yeah the ending was kinda lame. Though honestly I was expecting him to whistle or something and then the tardis just magically appear.
wow, anyone else heard the rumours going around for the series finale?
! Apparently Rose is gonna snuff it ;-;
Am I the only one who was pretty unimpressed with this weeks ep? Sure it was nice to see it from somebody else's view point but still…..
Next weeks don't look too great either.
Anywho, I got the new DVD that was released at the begining of the month, missed the episodes about the werewolf and the School Reunion one, and i must say, School Reunion was bloody amazing, K-9 was always my fave character. <3
Also, re-read back through the topic, and as for Tourchwood, wasn't that dropped for the K-9 series? At least thats what I heard anyways.
! And personally, I think the Daleks will probably make some sort of appearence in the series end (only 3 more eps left ;-;) tho rumours going around is that the last 2 eps may have some sort of Dalek/Cyberman war.
Wow I just cannot believe that.
Well, I'm sure it said somewhere that there was more to the Cyberman story than what we got. Also, as for the Dalek, all we have to go on is:
! Rose and the Doctor go into Touchwood where they battle various aliens and 'maybe even a Dalek.'
That epsiode on Saturday was crazy. That Ursula's acting was just awful and made some of the things just so bad. "I can see what he is planning to do2. And that paving slab at the end…
Seeing Peter Kay was good though. O, and I like the twist at the end where
! He was looking for the doctor because he thought he killed his mother
o and ELO, FTW!
Yea, I was suprised that Peter Kay was actually ok in something for once, and yes, Ursula's acting sucked. Did the monster actually have a proper name in that ep? I know he liked being called Absorbaloth or something, but thats all I remember, oh and he's from Klom XD
Ugh that episode was just bleh! It was quite the disappointing episode. And all I could think of during that episode every time I saw Ursula was "ZOMG! Moaning Myrtle!" hahaha Harry Potter Fangirl moment. But no I don't think he (the monster) had a proper name.
But you have to admit the very end with the slab of cement was kinda predictable. Yet dumb….really dumb.
Yet sadly, it was the funniest bit in the episode, I like the bit.
"We have a sex life….sorta." XD haha Elton on Cement Block action!
Anyways, according to the BBC website, the monster was called Abzorbaloff so I'm guessing thats all we know it'll be called, unless they bring some more in.
Yes that comment was funny, even if it made me shudder a bit.
I know this is from a while back but what did you guys think of this?
Doctor Who's most deadly enemies, the Daleks, have taken time off from taking over the universe to star in a porn film. Despite only being equipped with plungers, the croaky-voiced evildoers have been cast in an 18-rated film alongside three naked "disco babes".Normally only seen making the Doctor's life a misery, the metallic monsters are shown chasing the girls round a spaceship and getting involved in various X-rated activities.
Amusing I thought lol. Which leads me to my next question….NamixDalek secks anyone?
I have no idea what that was about but I'm sure it's funny if you understand it. Daleks rule.
And now I'm heading for the door
XD Jango that was just wrong.
But scarilly true XD I remember laughing about it when it was in the newspapers.
