The Enel one is wierd, but I don't see anything wrong with Konis.
Poorly drawn One Piece scenes

Sorry for posting over myself, but oh man, this is a horrible drawing of Lucci:
Either someone is a big Picasso fan or they never learned that eyes aren't the same shape when the head is turned to the side. I guess it's supposed to be slightly 3/4, but they did a really lousy job of that.
-
These are really great, made my day much happy.

Am I the only one who sees the OoC in that pic?
-
-
Yeah, I was just thinking about posting that picture in the out of context thread.
-
guaaaaah, what movie is that from. remind me not to see that one. it would hurt my eyes too much. Even the badly drawn scenes in the anime are good compared to these. I can draw better than that damn it, and I never even got accepted into illustration.
Many people have that view of the movie, it's not bad at all. In fact the plot is very good and while some scenes do leave you with the bad animation taste in your mouth, others do not.
The final fight in the movie where Luffy fights Baron Omatsuri was very good because the animation made you almost apart of the action.
-
Holy hell. Those bits from Movie 6 look like they were drawn by a three year old wearing a blindfold. The one with Chopper and Robin is just awful. Still though, Robin's very pretty in her Movie 6 outfit. :P
-
I went ahead and watched 108 again, and I found these two picture of Crocodile:
Is it just me, or does Crocodile's forehead look a bit…big.
o_o -

When I first saw this I was creeped out. Also sorry it's bad quality.::crawls out of her dark hole to post:: Oh dear lord… poor Sanji sniff sniff

o_oIn the first pic, his forehead looks too big…he looks like Frankenstein. XD The second one, his forehead is too small.

Maybe its just me. But he looks like Steve Buscemi in that pic.. -
Blonde Blueno, mentioned earlier…
-
Super sajian Blueno!!!
-
Sort of like Blond Blueno, but with Foxy's nose:
!
! -
Guys…stuff like miscolored things don't mean poorly drawn, that would be mistakes and oddities which has a thread. Porche's chest does look oddly drawn in the last pic tho.

o_oAnd now for some jokes
- Crocodile looks ahead of his time.
- It's heading this way!
- Instaead of calling that a forehead they should call it a five head.
-
Sounds like something 4Kids would come up with…
-
Yet I am amussed…amazing.
-
Hey, when you guys post images, can you not post two large ones right next to each other? It stretches the whole board screen.
-
Thats no big deal cos. Now if they didn't return and LITTERALLY posted 2 screenshots right next to eachother then things would be different.
-
And now, some DBF crazyness:
How can he even walk with that? And just for comparisons sake:
-

That's exactly what they DID. I had to edit the post because the whole screen was streched way out. Don't doubt what I say. hits with sock
Edit: That isn't so much poorly draw, but it is funny. Maybe his afro grows along with his strength. XD
-
Don't doubt what I say. hits with sock
ouchie…yes ma`am. ;_;
Holy growing afro batman! (Crap! look what you bastards got me saying now)
I would say Luffy might be overconversating for something but then I remembered, hes rubber. He could fix that in a jiffy. -
…. In fact the majority of people I know who actually have good things to say about the movie are the ones that have some art and film background.
Well, I have a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts (focused on Computer animation, but the background is all the same) and I loathe the look of movie 6
If art quality has to be sacrificed for animation fluidity, the artist is failing! Simple as that. It's one thing when a character or object is flinging so fast in front of the camera that it just becomes swooshes of color in individual frames. But those drawings a few pages back look atrocious and they're animated accordingly. There is detail lacking, proportions are all over the place, the line quality is crappy. There's just no excuse other than "well, that's the style" That style is ugly, pure and simple. And I don't like the faded colors. But that is just a personal tiff.
-
No no no, see, that's called ''subjectivity''. I'm told some people have it. It causes me to, strangely, adore the art in every facet.
I'm seeing a therapist to get rid of these weird tendencies, of course.
-
We already argued about this Conekiller, and it didn't get anywhere, so I'm not doing it again.

^__________^
I just wanted to show that art background =/= liking that style
^__________^
and please, don't assume I'm one of those "my opinion is fact, I'm right, you're wrong" assholes. I'm jsut defending my opinion is all, not trying to start stuff
^__________^
-
I said MOST not all. You are the one exception so far. XD
-
Well, I watched One Piece Movie 6 this morning on youtube. And I regret everything I said. You guys were right…the fluidness was great, when Luffy was fighting that giant plant spiral thing it looked great!
-
Another one converted! :D
Personally, I didn't think about the artsyle in M6 that much…what really hooked me was the story - and humor. Jamaican Usopp ftw. -
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed he looked Jamaican. Maybe Usopp is jamaican, that was still opened for debate. XD
-
Being Jamaican is like saying one is American, it doesn't mean anything in terms of race. Usopp is of course Mediterranean, no debate. XD
But his skater/street type clothes in the movie were definately FTW, it sold me.
-
Usopp is so obviously British. I mean, come on. x3

lives in Britain right, o…..k then fails to see how Usopp is British at all

Watch the Captain Hampton AMV and you'll see the light ^_^

Best AMV ever! That's what got me into One Piece to be honest.
ANd you just CANT diss the rasta hat the Usopp has in movie 6. It's the cat's pyjamas, no questions asked. I thought he looked the best (not just clothing) out of the whole of that film.
-

No way dood he's totally Australian.

I agree completely, it's like all the coolness of Usopp was ultimately realized and brought to life right there. XD
Oh yeah and Captain Hampton rocks. I already was an Aquabats fan.
Shoot, this has gone really off topic. <.< Sorry.

I know that refferes to the blues but for some reason when I first read that I thought "hippy".
Now I can't get a vision of Hippy Usopp out of my head!!
-
I drew hippy Usopp smokin' a joint once a long time ago, I don't know what happened to it.
-
Leave it you to you do have done any possible alternate Usopp.
…....done a Arnold Usopp? (Terminator!)
-
No, I have no interest in drawing Usopp as my governor (I live in California). :P
PS - I just realized how badly drawn this scene in the opening is: Look at Sanji, Nami, and Robin. XD
-
Usopp looks so British in that picture.
I have some screen caps I've been meaning to post if I could find the episodes… they're somewhere, I know it. x3
-
Completely off-topic, but I had no idea that color spread was in the new intro. I guess I just never caught it before…
Wow, the anime really doesn't do it justice.
Sorry for the off-topicness.

This post is deleted!
-
Credit goes to Kairo for this pic, he posted it in the most voilent blah blah whatever its called thread.
Such ugly bodies…and is that blood even shooting out of Zoro?! -
Hmm, I didn't notice how horribly drawn this scene was when I posted it. Also, look at Mr. 1. The top part of his body isn't lined up with the bottom part of his body, part of his cape is tranparent, and how can he stand on those thin ankles?
-
That aswell as the overall drawing is why I posted it here man.
