I wouldn't mind trying it, as long as it doesn't choke me.
Fresh Sushi

Uhh, no, I love sushi, but if my sushi is still alive and moving, I'm not eating it. XD
-
Oh man, that's disgusting xD
I've only had sushi once, the fancy expensive kind (I got it for free xD) on a cruise ship. Bleh, it was gross. Then again, everything there tasted like crap but the pizza.
-
man.. those prawns.. still struggling to be alive..
me too.. i love sushi.. however, if its still moving.. no way men.. lol
-
Looks like something you'd get at a getemono place. But I'd eat that. Looks good.
-
The shrimp gotten stripped of itself fast while still leaving the nerves intact.
The difference between fish that died seconds ago, and one that lives is astonishing.
-
I've eaten squid that was still wriggling on the plate.
-
me too, and sometimes, it sticks to your throat. Then you drink hot tea to flush it down.
-
No point, does live squid taste good? Doffy says No.
Sushi, reasonable, the sweet rice really goes well with fatty tuna…
But, live squid is just slimy... might as well fry up daddy long legs.

ugh… felt sick just hearing it.. does it taste better when eaten RAW or cooked (for sushi i mean)
-
Honestly? Doesn't taste any different. Actually I have a movie of it. I'll see if I can dig it up.

Sushi, the fatness is there in it's solid form so you can really taste it. It is much harder to cut raw fish than cooked fish, and you do not really taste what you expect because it's more of a fatty fat mcfat fat taste to it instead of… whatever you thought it would taste like. If you get over the raw part, then it's good for something raw and simple.
Cooked, the fatness melts and the fish is way less chewy than the raw. Some sushi like eel and the one that is fried aren't that great, but every sushi piece depends on the creator. If the chef knows what to do, then it'll taste great, but eating cooked sushi just really takes the point out of eating sushi... you know, the whole freshness thing and all.
-
That was kinda creepy…..
-
Weird on so many levels, but I wouldn't say wrong. Be quite interesting to eat something still wriggling.
But sushi is so so delicious.
-
not THAT hard core sushi fan to eat wiggling stuff.
I heard you couldn't eat raw eal, and that's why they always cook it. I like it.
Raw salmon melts in your mouth like butter.I can understand how fresh tastes better, but I don't understand how it tastes better still wiggling.
Of coarse, thinking of lobstar, they boil those guys alive. :(
Did you know, if you put a live frog in a pot of water, and slowley bring it to a boil, the frog will boil alive without even knowing it. (I had a fun science teacher…no we didn't actually DO it)
