      Today, I am heartbroken.

      http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/director-sidney-lumet-dies-at-176701

'Sidney Lumet, who directed such impassioned, often furious, movies as Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon and Network, died Saturday morning at his home in New York City. He was 86.'

      read.

I already said it, but it's really a sad news. He directed really great movie. Another great scene:

One of Al Pacino's best role.

        RIP Mr Lumet.

Good to see at least one other Arlong Park'er has the felt the loss as well. I didn't expect much of a turn out for this thread. Those who follow film with a semi-vigilance know Mr. Lumet's work well but to the general public his name will never be as accessible as a Spielberg, Scorsese or Cameron.

The world should mourn the loss of such a great storyteller.

          read.

            RIP Sidney!

Heard about this last night. My school did a production of '12 Angry Men' 2 years ago :c

                    Aw man.

12 Angry Men is one of my all time favorite movies.

                    He will be missed 😞

I saw "Dog Day Afternoon" within the last few months and that film just showed how great a director he is. (then again I've also seen "12 Angry Men" and "Network"…though the latter was 10 years ago) He will be missed.

                      Y'know, Negima WAS awesome…

                      For the first 18 volumes.
