why would anyone buy that...? Maybe artists looking for inspiration or a model? Seems like an easy way to try and take some extra money from fans, kinda embarassing how low-effort it all is, though.

If I remember correctly , the faces were identified by AI, so it probably gets anything with a recognizable face. So that’s why there’s monkeys and scribbles. Human checking probably only covered non-faces caught by mistake.

Might be good as an artist tool for drawing facial expressions? Fun to look at, though.

I can't stress enough how much I love the facial expressions in One Piece. It not be the main thing I like about it but if someone would ask me to list what I like, the depth in the facial expressions definitely would be one of the things I'd mention.
With that out of the way I have to say that I still can't wrap my hand around ALL FACE actually being a thing. What a pathetic cash grab attempt.
