We already knew about those things though.

Good point, just looking forward to seeing more of those
But yeah that’s a pretty big reveal we didn’t see coming right out of the gate
It might be hard to top that

I literally screamed in surprise after hearing about it. Minor picking, but the color use here isn't quite as good as the first one (to my personal taste). But I'm hella excited to find out which niche mythological character they are pushing up front and how they'll mash lore and gameplay together again. Noice!!!

Now that was unexpected. Definitely a day-1 buy for me, Hades easily one of my favorite games in the last decade.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melinoë
"Melinoë is the daughter of Persephone and was fathered by Zeus, whom he tricked by taking the form of Hades via "wily plots", indicating that in the hymn Persephone is already married to Hades."I wonder if they will follow this, considering they already made Zeus play a meddling part in the entire Hades/Persephone plot.

Holy crap, someone manage a 64 heat run in Hades unmodded. This is basically impossible not just because of the difficulty, but because you NEED a pair of drops in the first couple rooms to even have a chance at the run... and it's like a ,04% chance to get those two drops.... and that's just to START the run and isn't counting other stuff along like the way like a coinflip in the final stage.
Just like, one week ago someone made a video about how insane the math was, and how that only like two speedrunners had managed it even modded to beat those odds and seeded.
And then a week later, having practiced and proven it was possible, that same speedrunner did it unmodded and started putting in the hours of soft resets needed to start the run. CRAZY.

I'm hyped but I don't want to look at anything during the beta phase... I just wanna play the game when its polished and released into 1.0. I'm so tempted to watch videos and reviews since that's like... a year away... but...
I loved the original and was a liiitle burned out by the very end when I platted it because some of the random odds and ends took forever, but that was like 3 years ago now so I kind of miss it.
Same way I don't want to ever play another Monster Hunter game but I'll be ready by the time Wilds hits.

The fact it's supposedly gonna be in early access for the rest of the year, remaining exclusively on Steam/PC, and I have friends that are jumping straight into it, is all gonna make it hard to wait... I'd much rather wait and play the finished version on switch like I did Hades, but I feel like I'm gonna crack and just get it on steam if I'm otherwise gonna have to wait until 2025.

My will to hold out until the full release is weakening. But I still have a backlog of other stuff, so hold out I will.
