Welp... Here I was, thinking the IRA would try to maintain their facade a bit longer. But it seems they can't be bothered.
I guess the rangers make a comeback next time, then?
-
Not super happy the IRA went full villain mode but it's not a huge deal. At least Hwalipon is entertaining, I look forward to seeing more of him.
I'm curious how much we got left of this series. I'm getting final arc vibes.
-
There is one unnamed executive with Hwalipon and Peltora in the IRA, and one still missing. I give one to three years left.
-
Not to mention we still need to adress the origin of both rangers and invaders (after the chat with daddy Usukubo and the perfect match to the old "season 1"anime, there must be more to them than coincidental beings from outer space), what's up with red keeper, do D / Sakurama success in their respective challenges, and finally the rumored mega-invader. Could take a while.
-
How are they going to deal with this? Technically all those monsters are just civilians.
Also, we finally see Yellow Ranger unmasked and I feel like he has a resemblence to Yumeko. I wonder if they're actually related.
-
This manga has quickly gone on my favorites, even as the elusive samurai and sakamoto days lose interest. Interesting stuff, bit of intrigue, not too gimmick-y.
I imagine they're going to kill all of the monsters/civilians. Might be what the executives are looking for, even, idk.
-
I loved this chapter. Go D!
-
Woohooo ! Go D, Go !
-
If that's not as "He is him" moment I don't know what is
-
I gotta say, I thought this chapter was a bit confusing to follow. I initially thought the stuff we were seeing at the end there with the invader and the ranger was the footage D was watching from the old ranger show. But I guess it's not, it's actually D himself being a badass. But he got there really quickly.
-
And while they're in flashback-land, Tokita is still stuck under that rubble.
Glad to see someone pick this up again.

Does it feel like we're getting closer to an ending? In just a few chapters we've learned a lot about invaders and the dragon keepers.
-
@Seafarer33 I think so, 5-toubun run for 14 volumes, we already are at volume 10 territory, Negi might be aiming for around this lenght.
-
Only now you discovered he's a scumbag D? Really?

-
Okay, Yellow is awesomely evil. Probably my favorite keeper by a good margin.
Other than this, I have almost no idea what's going on but the fireworks are fun to watch
-
Yellow has shot up to favorite dragon keeper, by far. The story is full of characters who justify themselves as being good so it's refreshing to have someone who doesn't pretend.

So much tension! You can tell at a glance that D is on his last leg ^^
-
Nothing makes sense anymore, but somehow it's still entertaining to watch.
I mean, I don't think I ever registered what happened to Hibiki to put him in that state, or why his sister is completely unfazed by his appearance (unless she outright doesnt believe his claim and thinks she is siding with an impostor) -
@Seafarer33 he got hit by acid when he saved D, ironically, from the guy he's trying to save now.
I don't think Pink believes that that is her brother, but she does identify him as human. -
So that's what it was ? Thanks.
Now to see what D will do next...

-
Hell yeah! That was a satisfying chapter.
-
I'm a lost cause as far as plot is concerned, but hey, the ride is still entertaining.
Maybe eventually we will even learn the truth about invaders and keepers. And possibly it will make sense. I don't have too much hope, though. -
@Seafarer33 we at least know that the Dragon Keeprs were a tokusatsu tv show and that Red and Death Messiah had very different views on the themes and series.
