80% of the director lines were kino. I'm having fun with the low burns he makes.
I like the teacher's design and role as well, she's fun.

I was gagged by the post mortum bullet. Insanely cool, and very shonen-ish!
No Sensei! You better be revivable! But after this chapter I have lesser problems believing that Movie Guy could actually take her on. I'm thoroughly enjoying this arc.
The movie guy is coming off as a bit OP when it's taking this long to even faze him
At least it makes more sense that he could defeat sensei now. At first I thought he shouldn't have been even able to touch her. But it's more believable to me now.
We have already seen how strong Sakamoto and the members of the Order have been multiple times so you need some people like that on the villains side too if they are to be taken seriously.
Anime of this series will be a rocker.
@auem
I was thinking the same. That is if any studio other than Toei gets their hand on this.
Toei hate still exists nowadays huh. You must not be watching their works from the past few years if you think Toei would be the worst one.
I'm looking forward to seeing how that fight ends. Sakomoto won't kill him, that we know for sure, but I'm interested in seeing if he'll escape or someone else will finish him.
I'm watching One Piece weekly which still is an absolute shitshow Toei dishes out every single time these days. Is it representative of Toei as a whole? No, it's not. But my time is limited and I can watch only very few series with One Piece being one of them. And what I see there doesn't make me want to put any other Toei show higher on the priority list. Especially since there's none that interests me.
I remember Toei making a joke out of Toriko. Not a studio to be trusted these days and that has been the case for years.
Yeah, Toriko was one of the examples I was also having in mind. Just didn't bring it up because it's already a few years past. But since we're on that topic, I'm quite sure that that horrible anime played a role in Toriko not living longer. I'm not saying it was the best story ever but decent enough in it's ridiculousness. But the anime did nothing to boost manga sales numbers so it's possible that Shueisha was disappointed that the series didn't become another cash cow like One Piece.
Just strikes me as likely seeing how the coorporate mindset for old and established companies here in Japan seems to work. It's pretty much almost the same as in other countries but with the added flavour of "we culturally value harmony above anything else, and change is the enemy of harmony" that cranks it up to eleven.
"I won't fight him, he's my friend", and next panel the friend randomly falls to death anyway.
Yeaaaah slim Sakamoto is badass. Also happy to hear about the anime announcement, the cover always piqued my friend's interest whenever I scrolled through the SJ line-up so it'll definitely be something we'll watch together.
Toei can be great if the cards are in the series' favor -- all 100 episodes of Dragon Quest was an amazing ride. Studio Pierrot is the one I generally look out for...
"Do you know the difference between a masterpiece and flop, Sakamoto? It's wether or not I'm the one who filmed it." I think this is most arrogant line I've read in a Shonen and the bar is really high.
But Shin should be able to read Byodo's mind and get the info about Slurr unless he has some trick that will be explained later.
Those students were saved tho.
This.Is.Good!
An anime announcement? Which studio?
I love the movie director villain. He's infuriating in all the right ways.
@Zar
Agreed. I hate him but in the I love to hate him kind of way. The author knows exactly what he's doing with this character.
The anime thing is real? Nice, it sure deserves a studio that can do it's quick and dinamic action scenes justice! Fun chapter, as always. I don't think the genious inventor will betray the gang, just a misleading set up imo.
There hasn't been an anime announcement. There was a rumor about this, Undead Unluck and Yozakura Family getting animes like 3 months ago, and so far Undead Unluck has been announced and Yozakura kind of disproved (they mentioned nothing about it for the 3rd anniversary).
This will probably get an anime eventually anyway.
The leak I heard was Sakamoto Days paired with Blue Box coming from a source that Unofficial WSJ reported on. They put out a lot of other insider stuff so I leaned on that, but it's true nothing is public and it could still be just a coincidence when it does inevitably happen. Hopefully it doesn't get affected by the recent assassination on the PM :(
Why Seba? We were supossed to be friends.
Club Jam ended being way more better villain that i thought i would be now i wonder how he will finish the job, himself or control someone else to kill Byodo.
btw Akutami Gege author of Jujutsu Kaisen called Kanaguri his favorite characther
I don't bite that the hypnotist is out. Even after a falcon punch.
The series has been entertaining from the get go but right now it is really very good.

Yeah, I can see him hypnotize himself to keep going. Dude will have to get mangled to the point of not being able to move to shut him down completely.
Can he still hypnotize without claping hands ?
I'm all for a "pray is an act of the heart" stunt with this dude

This series has always been good but the last few chapters were utterly amazing.
holy shit this chapter was the best in the whole magazine this week
got me the guiddies and the stomach butterflies from the inpecable battle flow
I’m not caught up to date yet, but does anyone else find it weird that sometimes during the enrollment test they switch to killing characters being a bad thing, like it’s a school for assassins and the first part of the text shows they have no qualms with people dying but then later act like doing that is evil and there going to interrogate a person for doing that
The fight is cool as always, but I don't really care about these people or their philosophies about killers and killing.
Whoa, this series really became hardcore lately. I'm all in for it. I just hope the author manages to keep a balance between this and the wackyness the series started out with.
Predictable but good nonetheless.
I have to admit I don't know what it is going to happen. I don't want Shishiba to die, but I also want Amane to get reunited with his father...
Yep, the plot twist isn't really surprising but it's still very good plot development. I also want both sides to make it out somehow but I wouldn't be surprised if we'd get a bittersweet conclusion where Amane reconsiles with his father who is dying/dead.
the final line was a killer one too

Honestly, everything about this series has been killer lately. I did expect this series to be more than the innitial gags in the first chapters but I didn't expect it to reach these levels of badassery while still staying true to it's self. I#m thoroughly enjoying the ride.
the cinematic view of the mangaka sure is impressing.
Man, the old man had trouble at every corner of his life. Wife, son, job, successor. Rough!
100th Chapter...isn't a popularity pool due by now?
