Not sure about that . All I know is 90 % of these movies have a plot along the lines of "Extra terestrial on his way to universal domination just so happens to reach earth and wants to conquer it , so Goku has to stop him !" .

Having seen very few DBZ movies myself, I have to ask. Was it required to have a pointless Gohan's imagination scene in the early movies?
Well, considering they had to pad the movie out long enough and the production team had the imagination of a slug…yeah.

I saw the Cooler movie (the first one) and it was like "Lulz , Cooler's minions are suddenly on earth and just happened to run into Gohan and Krillin out of nowhere !"
Plus the plot summaries….honestly this doesn't seem to diferent from the anime , heck it could be the same people for all the diference it makes .

Judging from Spoony's twitter messages he seems really ill. One could of course guess that it has something to do with putting pretty insane hours in his work during the last few months? I think he's confessed that he's not the most fit guy to begin with, so maybe his body just stepped in and said "You know, maybe it would be wise to cut back on the amount of stuff you do, eh?"
I had a similar case when I was working on my university entry exams, I didn't sleep for days and just studied… the tests went well but afterwards I was really sick, tired and fatigued for weeks.
