Throughout this month, we will be testing new features (like search) so you may experience some hiccups from time to time. We'll try to not be too disruptive...

Some of us are nocturnal thouuuuuughhh
9am shouldn't even exist. That's even earlier for us people that use rabreal time zone.

PREACH, BROTHA.
Don't know what you mean by "rabreal" so I'm going to assume you live in an alternate reality.
9 am EDT starts make me glad to be part of the CEST masterrace for once.
I haven't woken up before 10 am my time (which is noon FST) in months, so this will probably be interesting for all of us.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Okay, casting and stuff has been finalized, and I have set up confessional space for everyone. Unfortunately, it is time for me to go to work, and there are still some things I need to fix before the playerbase can start entering the forum. That said, I anticipate PMs and Discord PMs to be going out some time after midnight EDT tonight.
If you are on Discord, and would prefer a PM, please let me know now.
I expect and demand a cordial invitation to Survivor sent via PM and possibly a letter in the mail.
Quick thing: to everyone in the audience, if you have a character request, please PM me. It can NOT be any of the characters we've played as, nor any of the game hosts.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Alright, all PMs are sent. If you didn't get your PM on AP, please check Discord, as only half of you got PMs over here.
There have been some minor forum glitches and a little more than half of you have some fields marked (Bugged) on your profile. Vor and I are doing our best to get those glitches fixed as quickly as we can, but there may be some weird fields coming and going for half of you.
Also, please let us know if you are seeing things you shouldn't be.
Cant wait to watch this unfold. My Nachos with warm cheese sauce are ready.
…what do u mean it only starts in 13days???
Send u an audience character request~
With so many character in, it's hard to find one.
If anybody wants to see the Survivor All Stars logo in its full HD glory, here it is.
!
('View image' to see it in full size :D)
Is that art or can it go in the trash?
I really dig the outline but the current version makes me wish I was color blind.
The color scheme is uh, interesting.
Blame it on 6 am.
@Kitty:
Also, please let us know if you are seeing things you shouldn't be.
You mean like moreso than usual right
Survivor All Stars more like Survivor LSD Trips.
Is too lazy to do the rest of the questions I'm off to a nice start.:ninja:
You have like twelve days to do em in, so it's not that important.
Though spoiler alert, you answer those questions, and then you get more questions. You know, just like how in life you solve one problem, and suddenly you have ten more as a result.
Who's ready for an impromptu character reveal ceremony?
Is not sure whether to believe the fox or not on this April Fool's Day, since foxes are known to be tricksters
If you're not pulling my tail, then yes LET'S GET ON WITH IT!
It's on the game board.
General Chat is going to stomp you all.
Henna Oyag…
But the cast list is missing somebody very important : [HIDE][/HIDE]
We asked him back several times, but he refused to compete with Kook Ghost.
After kicking Kook Ghost from the roster, we just couldn't get ahold of him again.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Five more days until the All-Starsiest Survivor game begins.
Let's start sharing some interesting stats!
These are the top twenty players who have spent the most Days playing a Survivor game, with only time spent in the game included. Days refer to in-game Days, not real life days, so like, yeah, these numbers would be way higher lol. This means that Redemption Island, Outcast, or Jury days don't count. In the case of Exile in Season 4, it does count. (Credits to Kaido for giving me the idea)
Honorable Mention (at some point writing this up I realized a counting error, bumping this person from the #20 slot. I didn't want to delete the nice things, plus the number of days this person has played should give you an idea just how much times goes into this crazy hobby of ours… and the other 20 people on this list have topped that!)
! kmohyudin has played 50 days of Survivor across two seasons and 81 possible days. He's always made it into the mid-game, eventually being voted out in the mid-20s.
#20
! Mr. M has played 60 days of Survivor across two seasons and 81 possible days. He only played in the first two games, and always made it to merge. His earliest boot was on Day 27.
#19
! vorlianis has played 67 days of Survivor across four seasons and 165 possible days. He has somewhat infamously been known for his "curse". His best showing to date was Day 20, though he did survive some seven or more days in Redemption Island.
#17t
! akagami7 has played 69 days of Survivor across four seasons and 165 possible days. Akagami also has a tendency of placing lower, particularly his elimination on Day 9 last season. However, he's had one good run, making it 33 Days one season.
#17t
! SkullJoke has played 69 days of Survivor across two seasons and 84 possible days. SkullJoke did reasonably well his first time around, but his deep finish in last game with an elimination on Day 42 gave him a huge boost. In general, people who went for in Totto Land will have a nice advantage in this category.
#16
! Galaxy 9000 has played 75 days of Survivor across three seasons and 120 possible days. He has usually placed well, making it into merge usually, but a Day 12 finish in Drum Rockies sets him back a little bit.
#15
! SpaceCowboy has played 79 days of Survivor across two seasons and 87 possible days. SpaceCowboy has never missed Day 36. In a standard season of the game, that's just before the final cycle, but SpaceCowboy has yet to play in a standard 39 Day game. That doesn't diminish his achievement, however, missing only eight possible days.
#14
! Femme has played 80 days of Survivor across two seasons and 87 possible days. Besting Space by one Day, Femme has also never missed Day 38. In a standard season, that's penultimate Tribal Council. Being a former winner and lasting ALL the Days in her first season helps. But surprisingly, she's not the lowest rated winner.
#13
! trappedolphin has played 81 days of Survivor across two seasons and 81 possible days. trapped is one of only three players to have played every Day in every season they have participated. (Credit where it's due, her colleagues in this field are le crystal and Cruithne). She is the only person to do this across more than one season. She is also the only person to achieve this feat while actually reaching final Tribal Council. (Curiously, season 3 and season 7 had their penultimate TC occur on the last Day, which allows both le crystal and Cruithne to achieve this feat without reaching the final TC)
#12
! Tyrone Pines has played 82 days of Survivor across three seasons and 123 possible days. Tyrone holds the title of largest positive swing from season-to-season. In his first season, he only made it to Day 9. In his next, he lasted all 39 Days. Even though he was the first Merge boot in season 7, that was still on Day 34, endgame territory in a usual season.
#11
! Kitsune Inferno has played 93 days of Survivor across three seasons and 129 possible days. I made a really strong push in season 5, making it 40 days, but generally, I die out in the 20s. Curiously, Karoo bested Domino by five Days, despite being a 12th place, pre-merge finish, versus a 9th place, post-merge finish. 45 Days, y'all.
#10
! NateRich has played 102 days of Survivor across three seasons and 123 possible days. NateRich is boosted by the 45 Days of Survivor 7 to an extent, but he still made it comfortably far in both of his other seasons, with his worst placing being Day 24.
#9
! Mastello has played 107 days of Survivor across three seasons and 123 possible days. While it's worth noting the effect of a 45 Day season, Mastello didn't participate in it, but still achieved the same amount of possible Days as Nate. This is because of his appearance in two 42-Day seasons, which balances out the season 7 effect. In both 42ers, he never missed Day 38. In his 39er, he did still go comfortably far with 27 Days.
#8
! MagiciteKefka has played 112 days of Survivor across four seasons and 162 possible days. While he's no longer around, Magicite made his presence known in the first four games, placing no worse than Day 30 in his first three games. He only made it to Day 15 in season 4, when life took him out of the game, and also out of ours, until his triumphant return some day of course. I'll be waiting. I've always been a huge fan.
#7
! Kubihige has played 140 days of Survivor across four seasons and 165 possible days. trapped's record of perfect games is beat only by Kubihige, making it to the final TC three times (a Survivor record) and winning once. His only flaw was a Day 20 finish in Survivor 7. But alas, that doesn't wipe clean his amazing accomplishments to date.
#6
! Silent K has played 150 days of Survivor across four seasons and 168 possible days. Silent K also had an impressive run pre-Season 7, but Season 7 also gives Silent a very strong Day 32 finish. This is the best finish by a pre-merge boot ever. Not counting that, Silent always made Day 37, and went on to win it once. Not a bad streak. Only 18 Days missed across four seasons? Not bad at all.
#5
! Huschel has played 155 days of Survivor across four seasons and 165 possible days. Outside of a relatively early loss (Day 30), Huschel has made it to Day 38 every other time, and has two appearances in the finals. Only four players have multiple appearances in the finals. Huschel is the only one of those four who can say he has a Day 43 appearance. Or a Day 44. Day 45, too.
#4
! Gazzgirl has played 186 days of Survivor across seven seasons and 288 possible days. Gazzgirl's come all over the place, but she's no stranger to Day 38, her best finish. Her worst finish, however, was a Day 6 finish, coming 28 Days lower than her previous finish, which surprisingly isn't the biggest season-to-season slide. (Not even close). Though Gazzgirl's best finishes have been in the past, and she's missing her first season later this month, she's left a great legacy, and might come back and win it all some time in the future.
#3
! Sky has played 191 days of Survivor across seven seasons and 288 possible days. Her perfect attendance is continuing through to All-Stars, a trait she shares with only one other player. Sky too has been all over the board, but she's seen Day 41 and never missed Day 18. You can expect her to usually go about halfway through a season. She's already played over six months of Survivor. :I
#2
! Shuhan has played 208 days of Survivor across seven seasons and 288 possible days. Season 7 can giveth, but it also can taketh away. Shuhan never missed a Day 30, until his finish in Season 7. Following up his perfect attendance in season 6 of 39 Days, Shuhan was lost on Day 3, the single biggest shift in finish from season-to-season. Though it's for the negative, Shuhan is still no stranger to Survivor. Though he's sitting out All-Stars, he only has one peer in the 200 club.
#1
! Wooden_Giraffe has played 247 days of Survivor across seven seasons and 288 possible days. Wooden has three Day 39s to his name, and a Day 40 too for good measure (thank you, Survivor 7 gods). His worst showing is a 21 day stint in Skypiea, but he's got multiple final TC appearances, he's never missed the merge, and he's got 39 more days to widen his lead. Even if he's voted out first, he'll still be sitting alone in the 250 club.
I'm so bad I'm not even in the list.
I don't know if I should be honored to be 6th or take this as a sign that I should really get a life already.
Look at all of these awesome numbers, then there's puny me, the noob that didn't even make the merge on the last Survivor. :ninja:
Should I even be proud of that? I'm not so sure.
Im shaming you AND celebrating you!
Its two things!
I'm sad that me and Sky are losing our fellow played-all-the-games compatriots. Sooner or later we're going to have to bow out too i guess.
Today's statistics!
We're going to look at the Sign-In Threads of each Survivor game and see if the order people sign in has any effect on final overall placement!
First up, Survivor: Little Garden!
http://s7.zetaboards.com/OP_Survivor_1/topic/912988/1/
At thread start, Buggy was the 1st player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 6th.
21 minutes in, Duval was the 2nd player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 10th.
1 hour and 27 minutes in, Bellamy was the 3rd player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 1st.
5 hours and 9 minutes in, Brook was the 4th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 12th.
5 hours and 19 minutes in, Hannyabal was the 5th player to sign-in, AND he eventually placed 5th.
5 hours and 46 minutes in, Bepo was the 6th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 8th.
6 hours and 40 minutes in, Chopper was the 7th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 9th.
9 hours and 9 minutes in, Bellemere was the 8th player to sign-in, but she eventually placed 11th.
10 hours and 8 minutes in, Vivi was the 9th player to sign-in, but she eventually placed 7th.
11 hours and 9 minutes in, Franky was the 10th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 2nd.
11 hours and 53 minutes in, Eneru was the 11th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 15th.
13 hours and 52 minutes in, Mr. 3 was the 12th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 4th.
14 hours and 1 minute in, Kaku was the 13th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 3rd.
22 hours and 9 minutes in, Law was the 14th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 13th.
1 day, 17 hours, and 58 minutes in, Kuma was the 15th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 14th.
3 days, 12 hours, and 17 minutes in, Foxy was the 16th player to sign-in, AND he eventually placed 16th.
Hmm, so far we can extrapolate a few things, but let's look at Skypiea next and see if a pattern emerges.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Interestingly, in the case of Skypiea, each tribe has separate Sign-In threads.
http://s4.zetaboards.com/OP_Survivor_2/topic/8839013/1/
http://s4.zetaboards.com/OP_Survivor_2/topic/8839002/1/
Times from either thread:
At threads start, Usopp was the 1st player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 13th.
5 minutes in, Stelly was the 2nd player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 6th.
32 minutes in, Nojiko was the 3rd player to sign-in, but she eventually placed 1st.
58 minutes in, Hattori was the 4th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 14th.
2 hours and 19 minutes in, Ivankov was the 5th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 16th.
2 hours and 32 minutes in, Kureha was the 6th player to sign-in, but she eventually placed 10th.
4 hours and 54 minutes in, Shakuyaku was the 7th player to sign-in, but she eventually placed 7th.
5 hours and 40 minutes in, Jango was the 8th player to sign-in, AND he eventually placed 8th.
7 hours and 4 minutes in, Cindry was the 9th player to sign-in, but she eventually placed 3rd.
8 hours and 38 minutes in, Bonney was the 10th player to sign-in, but she eventually placed 5th.
8 hours and 43 minutes in, Shirahoshi was the 11th player to sign-in, but she eventually placed 4th.
9 hours and 3 minutes in, Hina was the 12th player to sign-in, AND she eventually placed 12th.
9 hours and 34 minute in, Kizaru was the 13th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 7th.
1 day, 5 hours and 19 minutes in, Hiruluk was the 14th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 16th.
1 day, 20 hours, and 45 minutes in, Paulie was the 15th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 9th.
2 days, 12 hours, and 15 minutes in, Robin was the 16th player to sign-in, but she eventually placed 11th.
Survivor 2 switches up a lot of my theories, but I see one, fun little pattern.~
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Next, we look at Survivor: Alabasta
http://w11.zetaboards.com/Survivor_Alabasta/topic/7875185/1/
At thread start, Baron Tamago was the 1st player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 7th.
9 minutes in, Domino was the 2nd player to sign-in, but she eventually placed 9th.
14 minutes in, Crocodile was the 3rd player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 1st. (GKJHFDLKJHDFLKHGLKJSHKLGLKJBKBSLKJFHELKJHFlkajshdglkjahdglkajhgfa)
34 minutes in, Doflamingo was the 4th player to sign-in, AND he eventually placed 4th.
1 hour in, Miss Valentine was the 5th player to sign-in, but she eventually placed 3rd.
1 hour and 6 minutes in, Bourbon Jr. was the 6th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 2nd.
1 hour and 45 minutes in, Lucci was the 7th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 5th. (I adore where this is going)
1 hour and 51 minutes in, Pell was the 8th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 14th. (Never mind)
1 hour and 53 minutes in, Apoo was the 9th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 8th.
4 hours in, Smoker was the 10th player to sign-in, AND he eventually placed 10th.
5 hours and 40 minutes in, Hyouzou was the 11th player to sign-in, AND he eventually placed 11th.
6 hours and 16 minutes in, St. Charlos was the 12th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 6th.
11 hours and 21 minutes in, Shanks was the 13th player to sign-in, AND he eventually placed 13th.
19 hours and 25 minutes in, Arlong was the 14th player to sign-in, but he eventually placed 15th.
20 hours and 40 minutes in, Kokoro was the 15th player to sign-in, but she eventually placed 12th.
1 day and 48 minutes in, Miss Doublefinger was the 16th player to sign-in, AND she eventually placed 16th.
Now this is one we can extrapolate from.
And that third sign in thing is now statistically significant wtf.
Note to self: remember to sign in third
Nah, if anything that trend got busted by Olvia in S5. She didn't sign in at all.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Also, Shakky placed 2nd, not 7th.
Aww, man, guess there's no point in trying to be an original rebel by not signing in at all, then.
Also, Shakky placed 2nd, not 7th.
I had my reply all thought out and ready to post but you covered me. Thank you.
Still, for posterity:
@KI:
4 hours and 54 minutes in, Shakuyaku was the 7th player to sign-in, but she eventually placed 7th.
! Exqueeeeze-me?!
Urouge signed in third
Urouge signed in third
If it makes you feel any better, there literally hasn't been a winner who signed in third since Alabasta.
The realization must have broken Kitsune, hence the lack of further sign-up statistics.
Watch everyone now try their hardest to not sign in third for All-Stars.
Sorry, the post merge demoralized me.
The only other thing I've noticed is that Kaya and Carrot MAY have both signed in 13th.
Is that the new 3? I dunno guys.
Yes Kitsune I am very sorry to live in a superior timezone
Yes Kitsune I am very sorry to live in a superior timezone
Boss, you're showing off again! Cover yourself!
Due to a last minute schedulr change, sign ins will open in around six hours. Its not a problem that they are opening early. You only need to post in there once before the game begins. But letting you guys know in advance.
I missed the statistics!!
7th place ain't too bad. I wonder if I'll ever join the 200 club.
