Seems that way but she might have another skill and just cook the desert while her man does the cooking to bad the no romance rule will just leave her waiting on her island if she does get married though so the only way for her to join the crew is if they don't get married.

Okay so, that character nor any other (potential) Snakeneck was introduced quite yet, but the chapter was awesome nonetheless! Great setting, loving Totland. And Big Mom was finally shown in greater detail. I would have liked the Aladdin plot to continue, but there will be plenty of time for that.
Surprising to see Pudding on Cocoa Island. Maybe they'll travel with her to Whole Cake for when the party is set to begin.
EDIT: how could I forget? Kamabakka is going to the Reverie? I'm… surprised, to say the least. It may be a kingdom, but Iva is a revo and the government knows that. Like, I know they still allow the Vinsmokes to go as well, but this seems odd.

We finally saw a long-neck! From behind, at least. And I am curious about the race of the little thingies talking with the dwarf in the same panel.
And what do you know, it turns out Kanjuro's drawing of a bird was on point…
Chapter was really interesting, Big Mom's officers seem cool from the little we can see of them (specially interested in the Fruit guy), only downside of the chapter was... Pudding. Not a fan of her personality.

Okay, why didn't it say Pudding's name when she was introduced? It only said she was the owner of the cafe, her name wasn't mentioned until after her name card came up and even then, they only said the name of her Jello thing and her carpet. Why is this?
So Whole Cake Island is part of a whole sweet centric country, with 34 other sweet based islands each with their own chancellors, run by Big Mom named Totland? Interesting, so Whole Cake Island is just part of Mom's big country. I'm ready for the Totland arc! Another really great chapter and also Nami's leg game is strong. -

I'm more and more convinced after each chapter is coming out that sanji is gonna save luffy's life in this arc, not the contrary.

Big Moms Island is creepy, i didn't like Disney's version of this and Oda's version is just as creepy looking.
Actually, just looking at the Island from the manga err um :sad:Luffy is going to love this arc, finally his dream arc has come true :wub:
Too bad he never went to Usopps Island though, that entire place was filled of meat.
I'm a little confused though, what happened to Sanji's sister? Guess I need to go back and read the last chapter, it's like she just vanished :blink:

i assumed they were making preparations for the revolutionary reunion since baltigo is not avaiable anymore.

The dark underbelly of Totland society being shown in the final few pages?

Hold your horses. There was nothing that says Kamabakka is going to the reverie. Why would they invite someone that was in prison a while ago?
Also, the teapot with sunglasses is like best character. Really, no contest. Best arc character.

I have a nagging suspicion that Luffy won't be the one to defeat Big Mum.
- Kaidou: reason Law & Luffy alliance exist.
- BB: final villain
- Shanks: will be killed (?)
There needs to be at least one Yonkou NOT taken down by Luffy (excluding Shanks) right? If not it would seem like bad storytelling and basically made the whole new age revolve around Luffy. That would be illogical, with the Supernovas roaming around. I think Oda has some surprises up his sleeve.
But then Luffy specifically stated that he was going to defeat her and make Fishman Island his new territory. Maybe she would be defeated by the Fishmen Pirates lead by Jinbei
and Fred. Hmm. -
we already see 3 of Big Mam's underling a girl with sword a guy on a wheel of some sort and guy on a horse of some sort plus bobbin, pekoms, tamago, capone's crew, lola's clone and pudding. plus some names like chancellor choclate, biscuit and candy and 34 lands ruled y 34 chancellor. Well luffy and the gang are in a big trouble lol!!!

Big Mom's Island is Utopia where everyone can live in Peace and Harmony! Outside the Islands? Rob and Kill everyone, to get all the necessary resources to conserve such a life style. Also Big Mom's power is probably the birth birth fruit, which grants anything she touches life. Otherwise the explosion of colors and smileys at the end make no sense.

I'm already a fan of this setting for the arc, and it's only been one chapter to see actual buildings. The last few pages really got me though. A place of magic and whimsy but there is definitely dark stuff going on, and the double spread at the end says it all. Seeing actual Big Mom dancing with all those creatures shows a fun loving side to her, but from her initial introduction and how Bege talked about her, she has a nasty side to her. For me this is the best introduction to an island area yet, and Oda is always pretty good with that stuff.
As for Pudding, I'm a bit unsure how to take her. Her being a baker compliments Sanji who cooks stuff, and that is a nice little dynamic there. Beyond that I'm not that impressed and I feel that this Pudding and the one we saw on the poster could be different people. I have nothing to go off of but it's just a feeling I'm getting. Interested to find out what her reaction to Luffy is though after that one panel. Overall a great chapter with a great introduction.

a giuy trying to make the family he nerver had by putting under his protection everyone ,from crews to entire islands against a woman trying to make an utopia where every race can live together but without so much of a care for everything or anyone outside of it so to be able to mantain the "nation" alive

I'm so thrilled. We're in for one hell of an arc, the setting is wonderful and this may be my favourite introduction to an island ever.

The kana says "Purin". Viz has it translated as "Pudding".
