Mandela was a monument,a great forgiving man and a great leader.

Saw this news few days back, sad to see him go but thats life.
If someone lived the man that every one should it was Mandela. He is a beacon of humanity and we can only hope that the force that he was continues to resonate thousands of years in the future. I'm sad becasue he left but we should be happy because a great human being like him existed.
Condolences to his family and his country.
I am happy he was with his family when the time came.
RIP to one of the last great black leaders after all hes been through its amazing that hes lived to 95.
The guy's lived a long and difficult life. But forever he'll go down as a true hero.

It's pretty sad. I'm wondering what my parent's reaction was, since I assume they know (they're both from South Africa. They are white though, just to clarify). Both of them respected him a lot and talked quite a bit about how he was a good leader. Pretty sad whenever a man like that dies
I just watched the new Mandela flick
yesterday and the atmosphere in the cinema was so eerie. It was like everybody there came to a collective understanding that he was really gone. A post credit image really stuck with me:
