I think so far this season has been better than the last few ones even though I think the show peaked a while back. Anyways this episode was...probably the best of season 7, maybe up there in general.
Oh yeah the voices, I think they're finding their footing. Some scenes they sound totally off but eventually it won't be so noticeable, like with Kevin Afghani's Mario.
Episodes 1 and 3 were okay. Jerrick Trap was pretty good.
I personally didn't care for the pasta episode. Yeah, it was memorable for sure, but the plot didn't really add up for me and Rick was pretty shitty even by Rick standards.
Last week's episode though. Yeah. Definitely one of their all-time best.
So did anyone else watch the utter catastrophe that was the Rick and Morty anime? That's five hours of my life I'll never get back.
We watched the first 4 and then just gave up.
Kept feeling "yeah you can tell there's a japanese writer here being kind of an auteur! This might all tie together in an interesting way" but... yeah just gave up on that.
