So I'm actually pretty technologically illiterate, but if every 13 year old out there can record let's plays, then goddamnit so can I.
…Just need a little help first.
I've got the full version of fraps, and the plan is to slap together segments of gameplay footage into ~30 minute pieces suitable for youtube. FPS is set at 60 and sound is being recorded.
So here are my questions:
-Is there any way to make it so that fraps doesn't start a new video file after every ~4.5 minutes of recording? It's doing this automatically because of file size, I assume.
-Is there a way to make it so that it records the sound directly from the game... like, internally? Because right now it's using my laptop's microphone to capture the music, which means it's poor quality, and it's also picking up static/random noises in my house. I don't need/want to do a voiceover or anything like that. Just want the music/sfx crisp, clear, and alone.
