After unlocking Bon Clay in One Piece: Grand Battle, I have some facts that lead me to believe that he is a drag queen in addition to being a ballerina.
He's like a drag queen because:
a) He dresses in women's clothing
b) He sometimes addresses other males with "Big Boy"
c) He wears makeup
d) He seems to really enjoy cloning Nami
So what do you guys think? Is Bon Clay a ballerina drag queen, or just a plain ballerina?

Well, he's kind of a drag queen, I mean he wears make-up, and some rather feminine clothing, even though he's not wearing fully obvious women's clothing.
I don´t think he´s gay either. He says that he´s neither man nor woman. That means he´s probably bisexual. And he says that he likes Vivi when he first meet with the Strawhats, so he´s definitely not gay.
Do you mean 'androgynous', Malgwath? I think that's the word for "not really clearly male or female". 'Bisexual' means 'Has sex with both males and females'.
Perhaps he likes Vivi as a friend, someome to share makeup with and girl-talk. :D
Yeah…that's true. But doesn't calling himself "okama" definately mean he's gay? But I don't know, told Vivi she's so cute he could eat her up. XD
That Vivi scene was weird. o_o But "okama" can mean either "a gay person" or "a transvestite", and while sometimes they can both occurr in the same person, a transvestite is not necessarily gay and vice versa. So…. I guess it's up to personal preference. ^^

I think Bon Clay is a gay ballerina (ballerino? What do they call male ballet dancers…?), but then again, I think half the characters from One Piece are gay based purely on their design (Siam, Chuu, Doflamingo, anyone?).
To quote Bon-chan: "One may stray from the path of a man. One may stray from the path of a woman. But there is no stepping off the path of a human."
Although he does rather unambiguously state that he is a "master of disguise"…

With the Vivi scene, it's just Mr. 2 paying a little compliment, just because he's gay doesn't mean he hates women or finds them ugly or anything.
I think Mr.2 is just what he is, an okama, but I don't think it's an important issue because Oda doesn't really focus on it (well, aside from the "Okama ways" and the "Okama kempo"). The most interesting aspect of his character, to me, is how friendship is his top priority.
I think Bon-chan's both female and male, and also neither female or male, yeah? Hir body's biologically male, but in hir mind, Bon Bon is both.
I don't know anything about hir sexuality though…
