It's that time again, when the birds and the bees take a brake from mating with each other and making abominations of nature to sit down in front of the tv box and watch a jolly good football tournament.

Yesterday in a lively match with two red cards Co hosts Poland drew with 2004 winners Greece 1 - 1 and Russia won the Czech Republic convincingly 4 - 1

Today Holland take on Denmark and later Germany face Portugal!

I'm supporting France and Holland so I'll be wearing orange today and trying my best to chant in Dutch…

So, anyway, let's discuss this eh?

I am actually interested how Portugal will do against Germany and Holland , but I don't think Portugal is really better than the two of them

I think that if they're focused and functioning as a team, they're as good as Germany and Holland. That just doesn't happen with Portugal :/.
We do need a decent striker, but both CR and our midfielders are good scorers, so we have our chances as long as we don't pass the ball to the attackers or something silly like that.

I'm supporting Denmark with all I got but I'm afraid that with Netherlands, Portugal and Germany in the same group will destroy their chances to be successful this year. Well, I'm still cheering for the Danes and if they fail then I'll root for the Swedes.

Just as expected, really. The Netherlands have always played offensively and almost every single one of their players are world class football wizards. I'd be surprised if they couldn't do at least this much against Denmark.

So I'm the only one supporting England.
And I'll support Germany in the latter stages. As usual.
I hate being ranked 164th in the world. The last time we qualified to a major tournament after 27 years, we got tonked 4-0, 5-2 and 4-1.
