I think it looks even sexier than the beehive hairstyle…though I can't make any sense of how her suit works now though.
Basically this. Also is it just me or did they make her ass not as ridiculously huge?

I was in the camp that Bayonetta was kinda fugly, but this redesign… UMF!

Who says her suit only has to be made from her drapes?
Oh yeah, I went there.
I've always thought she was supposed to be a badass witch rather than some typical poster girl.

I was kinda responding to the assertion that her being hot/attractive or not never really mattered in the first place.

It doesn't matter at all. I was simply saying I didn't really find her attractive in the first game, but very much do in the second. Also if you're trying to turn this into what I think you're trying to turn this into do note that this is a character who was designed off Playboy centerfold anatomy and constantly over-sexualizes herself.
I wasn't really "trying anything", especially what you may be thinking. I just didn't see nothing quite wrong with a character that isn't stereotypically attractive whilist being a badass and comfortable enough in her own body. I find that a much stronger kind of statement for a character, so you can say it never really mattered all that much to me.
So Bayonetta is wearing her hair short while Jeanne is wearing her hair long.
Saw a gameplay video. I can't wait for this game (I loved the first one).
A new gameplay video was shown.
This game would sell so incredibly well if they produced it for more than one console. It's such a shame…

Not really. The first "just" sold 1 million copies on two consoles. Good but not incredible.
Seeing as the game wouldn't even exist if Nintendo didn't fund it, I'm glad it exists at all.
Was that Yugi in there?
Card games on motorcycles that are speeding up a rocket that is launching into space!
This is getting a Summer release in Japan, so I guess the same is possible for America.
So we are getting Bayonetta 1 as a second disc with Bayonetta 2 now in NA, when before I believe it was just a download. Awesome news. http://nintendoeverything.com/heres-original-bayonetta-will-distributed-bayonetta-2-north-america/
I always expected it to be physical but I guess I never thought about it. Cool news though!
As someone who never got Bayonetta…..well scoring both games as once is a good deal.

Footage from the Nintendo Challenge at SDCC
!
The first game was really frustrating. Constantly reminding me that I suck with the worst awards possible. But it was actually a good thing. One of the few games I needed to practice to enjoy it.
My favorite weapons : the katana and the freezing ice skates. The light saber was good too, but maybe too OP.
Just one complaint, you have to do stupid and boring stuff to unlock the last weapons. I don't have the Nunchaku and the polymorphic angel weapon.

Nice thanks.

I didn't 100% the first game either. It's really a lot harder than it looks and I didn't want to grind halos either.
I just threw it on Easy once I repeatedly got pwned by the two tiger-esque bosses in Chapter 5.

LoL they were already OP, but when you continue you find a stronger version of them immune to the slow motion. The first time I met them, I thought it was a bug.
I don't recommend the Easy mode though, even to the new players, as Bayonetta's combos are executed automatically without any control just by pressing a bouton.

Grace & Glory. they really are the trolls of the Laguna.

Yeah, if I remember correctly their description says something along the lines of : " it's said that a small part of their power is enough to destroy the world "
Wtf ? These guys aren't even mini-bosses.

i believe you are referring to the Gracious and Glorious, a tougher variant of the Grace and Glory and they are widely regarded by players as being the most difficult and powerful enemies in the game.
I think I died like ten times in a row to a pair of those fuckers and fighting them there was totally optional.
"Why do you shoot those statues?" "Cause they'll attack if I run by, watch and… see...sonofa"

Ah yeah, that's it. These guys are the worst.
I remember a fight against 3 of them on a highway (in use ). I had to resort to the most cowardly strategy.

LoL, but it's also kind of painful to see all the fights you've avoided at the end of the chapter.
So there's a tougher version of them that appear after Chapter 5? Jesus… they left no impression on Easy because... Bayonetta is one of those games in which the Normal difficulty kicks your ass... but the easy mode babies you. I don't even wanna imagine how easy Very Easy was.
I'm going to attempt Normal with the Wii-U version. I expect many stone awards and deaths await me. I also own Wonderful 101 which I hear is equaling difficult. I wish I was better at games, it's kinda sad that I suck at my favorite hobby.

if you think normal is hard, i wouldn't recommend non-stop climax.

[hide]….given the sexual nature of this series, I must say: Clever, developers. Clever.[/hide]

Yeah, I was really concerned about sales for this game, considering the first was on a totally different platform. I'm glad Nintendo went this route though. It's the game's best possible success on the Wii U. I'll definitely be getting it when it first comes out (reviews pending, of course, haha.)

I think you mean Non-stop I****nfinite Climax.
Some footage from Chapter 3
!
Ugh I'm curious about footage but what's the point of just spoiling boss battles?
It wasn't really impressive, but it looks promissing. I particurly like the speed of the angel's attacks. You really have to use your ears as much as your eyes to avoid at the last moment and launch the Witch Time.
I hope it's at least as hard as the first one.
Ugh I'm curious about footage but what's the point of just spoiling boss battles?
it showed us a chapter we never saw at e3 or ComicCon and a part of Paradiso we didn't see before. plus we get to fight not one but three bosses at once.
how epic as that?
LOL I've spent more than 20 hours on the first one, and I found on the wiki that you can run on fire and damage burning angel with the good elemental weapon.
and i found a neat trick to get more halos and get some the top weapons instantly.
Seriously! Might interest me. Though I'm currently trying to have a Platinum on every chapter (normal) so I should unlock them in the process.

most of the info is on gamefaqs: http://www.gamefaqs.com/xbox360/946346-bayonetta/faqs/58929
the chapter 7 method is my favorite and it works.

Nice! I will try it. I just unlocked the nunchaku by the way.
The combos look great and the associated outfit is really cool too.
But to be honest, the long range move (when you hold down the button) is quite lame.
the game's not even out yet and already he's thinking of making another one.

that's one more reason for me to get this game!
http://www.nintendo.com/nintendo-direct/09-04-2014/
There's a Bayonetta 2 Nintendo Direct on Thursday. Definitely looking forward to it, especially since I just replayed the first game! Managed to get all of the health and special bar boosts, though some of them were in really obscure places (such as requiring me to shoot a specific trash can, or finish off the last enemy in a verse with a torture attack). Still need to get all of the weapons, though.
just saw the livestream from start to finish….words can NOT describe how awesome that was!
Yep even more hyped than I was before now.^^ Not surprising she is not in smash though, probably too mature for that game, at least in nintendos mind. Although snake was from a mature game as well.

More like not relevant enough and not owned by Nintendo
