@Monkey:
Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum, also I'm new in collecting one piece figures, got a few questions:
1. is it too late?
2. I personally like POP, but thinking to go to figurart zero since the price is way cheaper
3. what are those figures below called scultures? who made them? where can we buy them?
@Louis 1988, I looked at your website, you have a good price, but I think 90% products in your store is out of stock, do you think I can still get a few items from your out of stock products?
Thanks again guys, hope getting to know you better, a little bit introduction about me: I'm a really OP enthusiasts and really into collecting figures, it's just family and things kind of like in the way in these past years. I am a really beginner in collecting, but I just limit to a few products (might be branched out a bit if really into it). I collect 1:1 sideshow lifesize bust (only Iron Man), I like vehicles and epic monster such as Batmobile and Tumbler (Havent got these yet, planning to tho), and have an eye for Bahamut from play arts. Currently for OP figures, I only have SOC Going Merry (one of the best I could think of), and megahouse Thousand sunny (still waiting from SOC tho)
Welcome to our crew! I'll do my best to answer some of your questions:
1. It's never too late! I got interested in POP's back in 2010, the first POP I fell in love with was Neo DX Crocodile, however I couldn't afford it as I was only 14 and without a job so I just started watching reviews and window shopping, I only recently got into actually collecting them, my first Portrait of Pirates figure was the new Fujitora POP released at the end of November (Along with the Saint Seiya myth cloths.) In fact, right now it a great time as you can get many POP that have gone down in price or are not too expensive; Bellamy is a great one along with some of the SA Strawhats you can get for under 90 bucks. Many members here are on and off collectors and sometimes take a year or more off collecting POP's or waiting for bargain items. It's never too late to get a hobby. Collecting POP's is not the same as trying to be a professional boxer or something, there is no expiration date.
I prefer SA Figuarts Zoro as opposed to SA POP Zoro, I also have the figuarts Supernovas including Kidd and Killer (Although the SA POP look amazing) It just depends, I just by them depending on which ones I find cooler or more dynamic, of course the scale and quality of POP are going to be better for the msot part but it's not like figuarts pale in comparison, have you seen SA POP Luffy? Or first release Blackbeard? Shudders
3. I would like to know this as well, but I believe these are only product images and are not yet availabe, should they be ready for pre-order i would check Amiami (Which I was recently banned from) HLJ, and Mandarake.
I own a 1/12 Gundam, it's about the size of my door and looks amazing. I own the Kotobukiya Kiaba and Yugi as well, I also pre-ordered the Parasyte 1/1 Mugi, so we both have varied figure interest in common. Welcom aboard and hope to see more of you! Hope I was of some help.
