If what Kage K. King told me is correct regarding the roaches invading Earth. I hope Adolf's wife gets eaten apart.
Roaches don't eat humans. They just squash they.

Not even gonna bother google Tanegashima.
I've been recommended to read this manga from a new friend of mine from Japan.
My list is;
Terra Formars / Nisekoi / Prison School.
Is this manga really good?
Prison school I just completed yesterday reading 195 chapters in 3 days and was probably the best manga I have read outside of One Piece.

I think it's really good. Action is it's strong point and it delivers some depth and emotion here and there.
After hundreds of senseless deaths and dozens of “shocking” reveals, without any conclusion, it gets repetitive.
Is there a consistent release schedule from the scan laters? It's feels as though there are a lot of untranslated chapters (the raw's and/or Chinese scans) that are being translated quickly now. I think three chapters have been released in the span of a week or two? Are we just really far behind?
Mangastream picked it up, we were behind but we will get up to snuff pretty soonish.
Oh yeah, those flashbacks before or after they die get annoying too, but I guess it depends on whether you like the character or not.

I would disagree. You describe Attack on Titan, not Terraformars.
Outside of the initial slaughter, the "shocking gore" slows down, and it becomes a survival game. It hurts when characters die (which they still do!) because you've come to know and appreciate them. Likewise, it feels damn good when they DON'T die, because you know that was seriously on the table. And the action itself is pretty great, I think it has a good use of that omniscient narrator (similar to Baki or HxH) to add to the hype. And of course it doesn't have a conclusion yet, such is the curse of all running series.
@SuburbanErrorist - it's a very different manga from Prison School, incomparably so. But I think it's one of the most enjoyable week-to-week battle manga out there today, so take that for what it's worth. Not perfect, not the best thing ever, but it understands how to raise tension while keeping the reader emotionally involved. If you pick it up, note that the first volume is basically a prequel. Keep reading until you get to the main story, Annex 1.

I wasn't talking about the main conclusion of a running series like finding the One Piece. I miss concluded arcs like in DB or you mentioned AoT. After a certain amount of chapters the main character moves on and some progress has been made. I can't find that in Terraformars. Just constant hyping, which is getting annoying after a while because it doesn't lead anywhere.

I see what you mean, Terraformars doesn't really have any breathing room. Though I think you can still break it down rough "arcs" - the initial landing and struggle, culminating in the teams meeting up again. The attack on Annex 1, sending the distress signal. The arrival of the Kyuzuryuu, michelle's rescue. And now they're fixing to leave the planet entirely and go back home. It's not super clear-cut, because it focuses on moving from battle to battle, rather than storyline to storyline. There are moments of satisfaction, triumph, victory. And I think it draws those emotions out better than AoT, where even though an arc may reach a conclusion, it still feels hallow and empty.
New Preview for upcoming Terra Formars live-adaptation movie:
I like those stormtrooper armors they got. Adds up to the goofy and awesome ridiculousness of the movie.
I'm resurrecting this thread as the Revenge anime series started last month, as so far I'm really enjoying the adaption. I don't know how many of you are still following this manga. It seemed to blow up huge initially and was everywhere like SNK, then in no time it has disappeared to the back of peoples minds….....oh well, just thought i'd remind everyone that's it's still running!
Might be because readers came to realize that the writer never opened a book ever since his parents bought him the animal encyclopedia when he was 7 years old.
…...I enjoy the anime by the way
Nothing wrong with stupidity from time to time.
i still follow the manga, lol at the poster above tho… its the earth arc currently, its still interesting.
