That was explained way back when in the thread. It's literally "hundred beasts kaidou," but that hundred beasts label is the very common epithet that gets attached to lions in Japanese. The English equivalent of that epithet, even if it's not a literal translation, is "king of the beasts."

Theres nothing to prove this speculation wrong but there is also no solid proof. We do know that Shanks did not have a fruit a few years ago, we know Blackbeard has a logia and paramecia. It can be speculated by Kaido's nickname that he has a zoan fruit or at least controls a lot of zoan users. Big Mom's is the only one we have no idea on

He has probably had his nickname for much longer. The Smiles are something relatively new.

To add onto this, Shanks was the one who intercepted Kaidou thus stopping him from reaching Whitebeard
To be honest, the farther we go along the story, I think we're going to find out that shanks/wb were guardians of one piece or something, as they have no intention of getting it. I can't speak for the other two as we don't know their personalities or intentions.

If I remember correctly, we´ve had at least 3 of those in PH:
1. "Centaurs",
2. Satyrs and
3. a Harpy.
Looking at the list, the only other creature that strikes me as widely known (and wasn´t used yet) is Chimera. Would make an appropriate mythical zoan in the future, for Kaido even, unless he´s just that…a lion.

We have no reason to believe he doesn't have Haki, and many more reasons to believe he does

I highly doubt he is weak. He's one of the four Yonko's, and has Whitebeards Gura Gura no Mi.
However, I'm sure he is going to grow in strength. By the time Luffy finally fights Blackbeard in the future maybe he will have many more Devil Fruits and his current self would be weak compared to that.

blackbeard was strong enough to give shanks his 3 scars on his eye and that was presumably before he killed thatch
It's pretty much a given that Teach has Haki.He knows about it and plus everyone on the same level should have both forms.

So far it definitely has to be either marco's or Sengoku's devil fruit power. We'll probably see more along the way that can match that power, though.

I disagree with this, Shanks scar is part of his Jolly Roger so that means Blackbeard gave Shanks that scar when he was still forming his crew.. And it was Megallen vs BB + his crew + that swordsman + level 6 prisoners I don't think anyone will stand a chance against this people, was never stated BB alone defeated Megallen.

I see it being a shorter time if he doesn't run into the guy who is headed over there, if he does run into the other guy then it could be a while longer than it took Baby 5 & Buffalo.
