After reading this thread I decided to buy the collection volumes. Luckily they were all on sale for 15.99 each on amazon today! 16 bucks a pop for MASSIVE AMOUNT OF EPISODES!!!

I'm having the same issue. So it may not have even left their warehouse. Or, there is a problem with the tracking number or website.
I'll provide info when it shows up (if I can beat Mikey to the punch) that is.
edit: UPS has come and gone. Most likely didn't ship yesterday. We'll see if it ships today.

I'd imagine just inconsistency with other DVDs. But that's about it. I doubt they would be gone forever.

I know what my reaction's gonna be if they're not dubbed. "Oh no, the opening and ending aren't dubbed. That sucks. Well I guess I'll just watch some dubbed Water 7 then. Dubbed Water 7! YAY! La! Lalala! Life goes on!" It doesn't matter to me if they're dubbed or not. I would like them to be for consistency's sake, but if they're not I'm not going to kill a puppy over it.

I just checked in even more places, and yeah, no dubbed songs at all. I'm not really disappointed as I saw this coming. I mean they really didn't have a reason to wait to episode 230 to have them dubbed…

Could be pulling at straws here, but maybe it's just because they still had episodes that were supposed to have Mirai Koukai on there? There's always the possibility the next two sets that are fully meant to have Eternal Pose could be dubbed, but I think it's high time to squeeze a solid answer out of Funi.

Mirai Koukai was the problem, so they skipped it. They could have just dubbed opening 5 and 15 in advance for it instead of waiting until the point where ending 14's ending point originally was, y'know?
Anyway, I'm working on grabbing clips now.

This is what i thought at first but i really dont want to entertain this possibility. If the opening was going to be dubbed then surely it would have began on this set, i don't want to wait yet more months only to be dissapointed again. I agree funi need to provide an answer for this now.

I'll check. I'm using VLC now, and doesn't VLC skip that disclaimer anyway? Just wondering.
Also, the art of Luffy that's on the cover is on the back.
There's a little mini image of Franky in his mask on the back, but that's pretty much it for him.

I see a difference between hoping against hope and just wanting a straight answer one way or the other. Not gonna pretend the songs were always gold, but they were nice to have, and now that they don't do it, it'd be nice to at least have a comment about it.

Oh, I agree. I'm actually surprised nobody squeezed an answer out of FUNi back when S4V1 shipped, disclaimer or not.
EDIT: Shit, the post-fight between Luffy and Usopp dialogue is really good… Gotta rip that for sure.

It's probably not Funimation's fault, it's probably stupid Toei's fault because they think their record label (APEX) can sell more of their music to overseas markets by having "more exposure". Sure, I'll just go to Best Buy and pick up Boystyle's latest single…. Oh wait a second.
Does that make any sense even from a business standpoint. I don't think so.

I'm worried that, due to future song lengths and possible copyright issues, that we never again get any dubbed songs. It wouldn't surprise me at this point. My biggest fear now is that Dear Friends won't be dubbed.
