Hm. Just be careful I guess. Try not to tear pages and wrap it in a plastic bag before mailling, if for some forsaken reason it happens to fall in a puddle while being mailed (which I believe happened once with the other sketchbook I was talking about. It was protected, but the address got smeary). Anything you can think of?

i can start this off, since i'm as far south of this darn country as you can get (sandiego). i propose a 7x10 sketchbook like this:
additional rule: max of 1 week per person. if you have no time to do it, pass it on.

I kinda agree. I don't really want people who don't normally make fanarts (no offense) to do it. I mean, not because it's 'unrefined' art, but it's more of a 'will they actually draw/ can we trust them/ it's someone we barely know' type thing. But I do think that some people who don't normally visit this thread and are good artists/trusted should be notified. :3
That looks like a good book to use e1n. I could keep up the list, heck maybe I'll make a site for it. (with a map! woot)

I think that would be really cool~ It's an OP board so I figured most would want to do fanarts, but think original stuff would be really awsome.

what we need for starters are these:
1. list of people who are in this
2. ORDER of rotation. so like me –> cosmic --> someone --> someone else... etc. and keep it in that order all the time. that way it's fair and no two people get to hog the sketchbook. also people who are uncomfortable sharing addresses don't have to give their addresses to more than one person, because that's the only person they'll be sending to every single time.why don't we determine the order of rotation based on location? taboo, do you want to supervise this? have people PM you their CITIES and STATES for starters. no exact addresses needed. just cities and states so you can googlemap it up. like myself in la jolla, CA. after getting a complete list of people who want to participate and which city they live in, then we can determine the path of the sketchbook.
my guess is that it's gonna go along the westcoast, up to canada, then down to the south, and east to the eastcoast area, then back to westcoast where it started.

Aww man, that would be really cool and fun… I'd like to participate... and my parents owe me some money... so I could probably use that for postage (though I won't send the post office "IOU"s XD).... But probably since I don't say much, people won't trust me very much... And my parents (mostly my mom) is afraid that half the people on the internet are child abductors, and/or serial killers... Oh well....

I like the idea of the continuing story, but I think there should be pages free to just doodle, especially if someone didn't feel anything to add to the story. Last thing we want is pressure to think "omg I have to do something really good to match what so-and-so did" XD.

Yeah, the page limit is two so you can basically do whatever you want on those pages. If you guys want to start an ongoing doujin thingy, then by all means! But you nobody is tied to participate in it if it does happen. xD Cosmic, I don't really think there will be that kind of pressure. hmm… i think we're intending this thing to be within USA and canada only, bad-beat, because you know, international shipping can be expensive. and with the way it's scheduled right now, there will be one person who will always have to send it to you, and it's just not fair for that person AND FOR YOU (because likely you'll always to have to ship it back to USA once you've done your part).
maybe you can start your own with fellow england fanartists? i'm sure you can find them in DA.

I really don't get to draw anymore, but last weekend I got to fool around for 2 1/2 hours, here's my results. I kind of consider them doodles, then again they aren't, and they have their flaws. Nami doesn't look like Nami, Sanji looks like Insector Haga, and I screwed up Franky's chain.

I was doodling with my friend, and he told me to draw robin
so I did a 10sec/mouse Robin, which turns out to be the best 10sec/mouse Robin I've ever drawn o_O;;
so I saved it and am now posting it…am ashamed yet proud
