Yes, indeed but like I said to get that title he needs to step hard on somebody, that title is not the same as a Shishibukai where you get invited, the Yonkou needs to break some bones in order to be called a Yonkou, you don't get that title just for being part of Rogers crew

Definitely want to see more of the fairies, hopefully we get a couple of panels of each group between blocks.

Enough with the pace bs, it's just a word used to describe the momentum of something, in this case it was a conversation.
The toys seem too well incorporated into society for them to have showed up recently, so i don't think DD is behind then being alive. Not to mention a faction of toys are trying to usurp the crown.
The one legged soldier has been my focus for a couple of chapters, he could be laying out a trap but i think something will happen to him and the SHs will sort of inherit his mission to save his friends ( kinemon trying to save someone in the factory too, relation or coincidence?).

Finally, i'n surprised by the few number of pages, normally after a couple solid chapters these threads get updated faster than you can refresh. Ahhh summer

This is random but I for one do not think we're getting a flashback next chapter simply due to it messing with the flow of the story. It seems a little too sudden.

Now that I think about it.. It all seems like a bit of a set up if you ask me and is a little too convenient that as soon as they get to the colosseum there's someone there with the same goal. Actually, with this now as well.. the fairy, Violet, CP-0, the person on the Sunny, and Kinemon's situation kinda seem set up as well.. Which (to me) backs up what I had said yesterday about Doffy not needing to fix the tournament (ie. Luffy's block) more than it already is to begin with, his whole plan was just to separate them all anyway and these distractions seem like his doing.

Why are people pretending to know exactly how Shanks would react or generally act when we have seen 2 full actions of him? We barely know anything about him and it's not out of the ordinary that Barto could be getting it for someone, it's one of the 3 Yonkos (can't be BB since Jesus is there). Reminds me of Luffy can't team up with another Supernova, that's not his personality.

I don't really see Shanks doing it but he could, Barto in particular just saved people so it isn't as if he is gruesome mass murderer at least what's been seen of him so far. It isn't as if he couldn't fit his crew.

That's what bothered me for a while now, the presentation of Haki really doesn't help. While the fights so far during block b have been decent, I always wondered who's using Haki or if at all. You would think that Hack, an experienced fighter who can make it in the new world, the most dangerous and demanding place in the one piece world, would use Haki by default, because why the fuck not, seems like people who can use the ability without getting tired out, but yet during this whole fight it seems like it wasn't applied once? Why? How exactly could an invisible armor not come in handy by now? Maybe Bart did imbue his barrier with it, and there was just no visual representation of it like with luffys arms turning black, who knows
I don't know, just hoping that the fights will look less ambiguous in the future, don't want a continuation of the marineford battle dynamics.

I honestly think, that Barto is the first real Pirate with enough really good credentials (Strong DF, he isnt that bad Guy like everybody think and he gives us, the OP-Reader enough Fanservices with his Special kind of entertaining, Imo) that could ask Luffy to join his Crew. Maybe as a Main Member or as a Ally with the remain of his own Crew. I dont think Luffy would accept his enquiry, but I think that Barto knows what kind of potential Luffy got. Hes the Grandson of Garp, the Son of Dragon, he holds a enormous Hakipower and everyone from the Eastblue till the beginning of the New World knows now, that he really know how to fight with his DF Ability and that this Power is extremely strong. Barto is smarter as it seems for everyone atm. Just wait for it, he will get the Firefruit and asks Luffy. I think the tournament will not be interupted that the whole thing goes down and the Tournament is over because some insane Guy destroys the Arena, or whatever. I could imagine that it goes like the Tournament in the Boo Arc of DBZ. Because of a very important incident, Luffy needs to leave the Tournament, to Green Bit or whatever, no Idea atm … And the Tournament dont stop. Ruffy (Togehter with the People which hate DoFlamingo/hating the past of this Island/or whatever made them angry) is gone and Barto will win it, maybe.

Why not? The Barriers are preventing anyone from actually hitting Barto directly, so haki shouldn't help. Its not like Luffy or a Logia where the DF means that their bodies are either elastic or intangible preventing any non-haki blows that do hit from doing damage. Haki would essentially break the the barrier, it's the whole point of having haki. if there were random invincible DFs i'm pretty sure they'd be PK by now. I am interested to see how he can use his barriers though, for example could he use one to make himself float? could he shuriken those bitches if he gave them razor sharp edges? How many of them can he make/what size? There's definitely a lot of potential for it to be a hax ability. Would using a haki attack to break the barrier hurt barto? no, but it certainly let's you get to him.

Robin and Kizaru pretty much don't care about his barriers in the slightest, Whitebeard just breaks the ground underneath him, Aokiji freezes him like he did to DD, etc. He also doesn't seem to have any way of attacking through his barriers without using his barriers, and doing that would open him up to a counter-attack.

Though I am curious now to see if he can ride one like a flying carpet. Cause that would be kinda cool actually.

I guess it's my perception of how haki works, i take for buggy being able to be slashed by haki, so if masterful enough you could break one of Barto's barriers. Obviously other factors come into play, like his degree of mastery over his DF, if he's capable of imbuing his barriers with haki, etc. but dominant haki would overpower any DF ability, like the 3 admirals stopping an earthquake. It took 3 of them to overpower it, but i guess that's just hats off to Whitebeard for being a bamf and the degree of power his DF had.

Invincible was definitely a strong word (as was the PK bit but details, details) and i agree someone like Robin doesn't care about the barriers (Kizaru i could debate on but meh), and the fact that the size/quantity of them he could potentially have up increase the haxness a lot (if it's more than 1). I guess through all the crazy potential a fruit can have, i feel like Haki acts as a simple denominator that everyone can use and is useful in against any type of power. I don't think vergo in full haki hulk form would be slowed by Foxy's noro noro beam for another example.

and the magic carpet was the first thing that came to mind, but a power that cool would have to be a Nakama :ninja:

I really don't think haki should come into play at all. Sure it may seem overpowered, but that's from like seeing the fruit being used one time. When Luffy or even Buggy was first introduced,their powers looked unbeatable as well (Oh dude can't be shot/cut.) Luffy could overcome a logia without haki, i'm pretty sure he can do the same for this barrier thingy.

On a side note, the grappling move bellamy did probably is a hint to Barts weakness.

So the choices we have here are:

Barto's fruit generates the only known force completely impenetrable/unaffected by CoA
–he soaked up point blank attacks from a Marine VA, King's punch, Fishman Kenpo master, etc
--none of these were explicitly stated to involve CoA however

Barto's fruit generates barriers that can indeed be broken by sufficient force, such as CoA
–still a leap because no one has shown a way to stress or break it, only to circumnavigate it (Bellamy grabbing his vest)

If nothing else he's presumably weak against the usual seastone-based materials. If outrunning/slipping around his barriers proves impossible then I'd bet on someone using a seastone weapon to put him down.

Or maybe he's susceptible to Law's powers. So there are still ways to beat him even if the barriers themselves are hand-to-god unbreakable

Assuming that Barto's barriers are indeed impervious to CoA - does that mean that using CoA defensively would be ineffective against Barto launching a barrier at you? Or would this result in a stalemate?

I always saw it more as 2 rather different types of power, the Sea having one specific type of effect (complete nullification) and Haki achieving something a bit different (ability to hit elements?) I'm completely pulling this out of my you know where (hint: its my ass)

Its just i can't reconcile how ambition would have the same effect that the sea has on DF users.
