well i agree with you… it was a little to much hype for shouheikun and his men, that it felt a little awkward. but i liked the scene with Karyoten.

To be fair they've been hyping shouheikun since his very first appearance and even then people were saying he was stronger than Moubu.

On one hand I'm glad this didn't take that long, and on the other, this shoud have taken longer.
The guy actually had character. Meanwhile, glaive with human body attached, known by the name Houken, gets chapters and chapters of fighting.

Does feel that everything was pretty short. This has been an even that's been coming up since the beginning of the series, so you would want to add some more impact. The stuff between Ryofui and Sei was nice and about the right length, but the actual rebellion stuff was rather week overall. I still enjoyed it, but it didn't really have the impact other battles have had in the series.

Well, Shouheikun needed a quick, decisive move to completely bring things to a halt there, so that much makes sense. I thought it was pretty enjoyable to see something done so quickly against a random assortment of guys they picked up along the way to the capital. The real battle is probably coming up for Xin versus Hanoki.

Some information i undestand from the Japanese summary:
! -After the fall of the duke of Juuteki, the ragtag rebel army start to fall apart and escape.
-The Queen Dowager collapse in tears as the news of her failed rebellion reaches her.
-Hanoki escapes.
-SHK and Shin met up and discussed something about the coronation ceremony(?)
-Something about the current king and the unification of China
-Something about the escaping rebelling army being cleaned up by Kanki's men at Kankoku Pass.
-The king's faction warriors shed tears of delight after their victory as they can finally end the decade long power struggle between the king and Ryofui.

This chapter seems significant but the fact it's the chapter before the Ryofui chapter, it condemns itself to filler.

This was really over way too quickly and easily, why was Ryofui so calm and confident when Shouheikun betrayed him (which he had been anticipating anyway) when it seems he had nothing up his sleeve to counter the betrayal? This was just way too weak for Ryofui's master plan.
I still have some hope this isn't over and Ryofui still has one last card to play, but it doesn't seem likely.

At the end of the day Ryofui is a mere merchant/civil servant and doesn't hold much real power, just what he attained from putting El Seis father on the throne.

Not much real power? He's one of the most powerful persons in China, and he's been built up as Sei's nemesis for so long. I expected more from the final showdown between them.

You shouldn't live week to week, Ryofui probably has more up his sleeve
All that power is a lie, at the end of the day he's a merchant who believes in money. Violence wins the day in the Ancient world, he's much to advanced thinking in his day and age.
Maybe it's because I know the history so its why I'm not upset. Saw this coming for a while now.

Not sure how I feel about this chapter.
I would've preferred that the declaration of history came with the end of the saga rather towards the end of it. The whole fall from grace thing is likely to be incredibly boring and the wait for Shin's first mission as a general will be boring too. Let's hope the ceremony is funny at least.

! I've seen most of the "Chinese raws" drama around here, was mostly indifferent to it. The Korean to Chinese bit amuses me way more than it should.

I feel like Kingdom has been dropping in quality since the timeskip, it's probably mostly because Hara is speeding through events so quickly. I hope he slows down and get backs up to the standard of arcs like Bayou and Sanyou.

Ryofui had plenty of guards there so it's not like Sei could just arrest him then and there. He also needed to collect the prisoners and Rou Ai before he could arrest all of Ryofui's faction.
The real conclusion comes in the next chapter in Kanyou.

well this is it , this whole rebellion was gonna succeed or fail in one day anyway , they had only 30 000 men ( and most of them untrained ) , sei's faction had 10000 trained men ( and 1000 elite soldiers i think ) , + they only been able to invade kanyou thanks to traitors opening the gate , shouhei kun change of mind decided the battle , and it had to be a short and intense battle ( i personally felt the rush the characters were in ) .
- the fight against ryofui is not that short i considered it beginning since seykyou rebellion .
now on to the next part where qin will unify all of china , this will be interesting ^^

Summary of the chapter from DarkLordOfKichiku of MF forums:
! > The Qin-Chu border.
Karin's army is battling Moubu's army.
However, upon learning that the State of Ai's rebellion failed, Karin's army withdraws.
Seeing that, Moubu & co becomes pretty certain that Ai and Chu were in cahoots with each other.
They also know that Ryofui has lost again.
Kanyou.
Rou Ai has been sentenced to "車裂き", (which'd mean torn aparts by chariots if I read it right).
Rou Ai has admitted to being aided by Ryofui in the rebellion this time around, but says that using the Royal Seal was all his own idea, with the Queen Dowager having nothing to do with it.
In short, he says that the Queen Dowager had nothing whatsoever to do with the rebellion.
However, before the punishment can take place, the Queen Dowager steps forward.
She confesses to it being herself, not Rou Ai that was the ringleader of this rebellion - that what one of the spoiler pics shows, with her basically saying "Every single one of you knows! That there is now way this man could lead a rebellion!".
Sei however, judges that Rou Ai is indeed the ringleader, not his mother and that's final.
That's when the Queen Dowager asks Sei if the two children she had together with Rou Ai will also be killed.
Sei says "One must completely remove/wipe out the seeds of disaster from the nation" (might've gotten it wrong, but that's the gist of it).
Knowing that her children will be killed, the queen kowtows before Sei.
