Actually they were bothers but the idea of Sabo getting the mera mera fruit is kinda MEH (in my opinion that is), we haven't seen him yet and he will most likely appear with dragon when ever they make their move also like I said before it will fit perfectly is Sabo end up having a Zoan type.

Kinda disappointed that Franky didn't want a piece of the action too. I would've loved to see some Luffy/Franky double team action, plus it would've been a good chance for more interaction between the two. Sorta indifferent to the Sanji subplot, but I hope it goes somewhere and is atleast entertaining in the coming chapters.

Pretty fun chapter. Sanji on his way to get shanked, and losing sight of Zoro will be a fun mini arc. Though where was Kinomon in this chapter? We will most likely know next week. Though I am a bit tired of all this Sanji's pathetic nose bleeding from times to times, but that is just my personal preference on him.
We finally get to know how the Fruits reappear in the world whenever the owner of that power dies and it will appear somewhere else in the world, though the question remains how Doflamingo got his hands on Mera Mera no Mi in the first place.
As I expected, Lucy did care for the Mera Mera no Mi and Doflamingo was spot on that Lucy would want it, and don't let anyone but his closest friends to have in. Franky declining the offer was just as predicted, I can't see him being a Fire Logia with that body.
Tournament coming up, and Lucy already beat one cock up Spartan (?) in the dressing room in the Corrida Colosseum. This is going to be fun. I also have a slight feeling there are some big shots in the room with Luzy that we don't know about yet, the Blind Swordsman maybe?

I hate people throwing Sabo everywhere and if it was up to me, he would stay dead (god, I hated that flashback), but the fact is that hs is most likely alive and no one would be a better option to eat the Mera Mera than him.
Not saying he will though, as the fact the Mera Mera would be a prize only came out minutes before the tournament started, so he would need to be around already to be able to make it in time.
But, Sabo or not Sabo, Sanji is not even a choice.
The SH are the main group. We just went through a flashback that provided power ups we didn't even start seeing (Sanji didn't even got a fight since the timeskip). IF any of the SH is going to get another major up in their fighting abilities, it will not be any day soon.
And this case is even worse because using a Logia would change Sanji's fighting style completely and you simply don't go destroying the fighting style of the main characters specially when it became part of the character itself. That wouldn't be a smart move for a writer to pull. Not a all!
So I can say for sure: forget about Zoro, Sanji, Usopp, Nami or Franky eating the Mera Mera no Mi. -

never said that none of the logia are good for physical fighters..smoker's smoke doesn't have much offensive ability,so he need to relies on it for the defense but not the offense…kizaru use it to enhance his physical attacks by using light's speed to increase the strenght of his attacks..but all you can do with the mera mera is coat your punch and kicks with fire,and he already does that with diable jambe..if he gets the mera mera,he can virtually never have to get in proximity of an enemy ever again,let alone throw kicks.

Sanji has the power of inhuman strength with his legs. Lighting them on fire is no different than smoker being able to control what part of his body is intangible or not is my point. Although you may think it maybe redundent it does have the benefits towards his general character.

I don't see any Strawhat being fit to eat the Mera Mera no mi
Luffy has a Devil Fruit. Zoro swims to save the others often and he went under intense training, a DF may be seen as an unfair advantage or even a crutch to him. Nami is already a mage so she can probably manipulate most elements already. Usopp is a sniper and uses plants, they wouldn't introduce pop greens to have him burn/disregard them, pluss it'd change up his fighting style too much. Sanji would have built up his legs for no reason if he ate the fruit, plus he can already use fire-based techniques. He's usually seen swimming underwater and developed the blue walk and sky walk technique. Chopper has a fruit, so does Robin. Franky declined. Brook would eat it but he doesn't have a stomach. SKULL JOKE
I wouldn't mind seeing Jinbei eating it as it'd be an ironic twist to him being a fishman, plus he and Ace were on par. I think it'd be logical to assume that the next SH after Jinbe will earn the fruit, filling all 3 types of Devil Fruit users on the ship (Paramecia, Zoan, and Logia)

it's not that is redundent,it's that the mera mera will turn sanji in a range fighter instead of the close-combat typoe he is now..why go near an enemy to throw a kick when you can engulf him in fire from distance?
smoker has to make physical contact because shooting smoke at someone doesn't do much…maybe it just piss them off more. -

How many times have any of the Strawhat or Sanji fought in water? Last time I checked even DF users can swim or fight underwater if it comes to that, what's the point of the "bubbles" if they aren't any DF users to use it? And when Jimbie joins then Sanji being best swimmer or stuff will be thrown off since Jimbie will be the water dude in the crew.

There are 3 options for me for the Mera Mera fruit:
1- Sanji will eat it
2- Coby will eat it
3- Luffy will give the Mera Mera fruit to a future young D. (Like the way Shanks "gave" the fruit to Luffy) at the end of the story to make him start a new adventure like him.The 2 first options are the most plausible.
And i don't know why but this is the perfect island for Sanji to shine and get a powerful Level up to stand against the future strong enemies.
Let's think about this:Sanji= Dressrosa Power up
Elbaf= Ussop Power up
Wano= Zoro Power up?etc…etc.. and every Mugiwara will become stronger in diferent arcs and islands. Because i know that the level they have now they can't fight against the big bosses who, since 10 or more years ago are in the sea and got more experience in combat (but are not at their prime). How the Strawhat crew can surpass the old generation if they can't compete 1 vs 1 with the other monsters in the sea? Okey they have the "Alliance", but come on, they can't win if they are alone? That's why i see a new power up in every arc. 2 years is not too much time training in comparison with other pirates who fought in Roger and Whitebeard times and got more experience.

it's not that is redundent,it's that the mera mera will turn sanji in a range fighter instead of the close-combat typoe he is now..why go near an enemy to throw a kick when you can engulf him in fire from distance?
smoker has to make physical contact because shooting smoke at someone doesn't do much…maybe it just piss them off more.A flaming kick fired in the general direction of his opponent?…that's not a kick,that's a bazooka.
Will someone tell me how to make a signature already? UGH!
