@fana:
The last 3 chapters were great.
The Neighbors and Tamakoma triggers are awesome.
I'm hoping that after this invasion, the main branch will start asking cool triggers from the Tamakoma engineers.
It's more interesting to have more unique triggers instead of just dozens Scorpions and Asteroids.
I thought it was strange how Kikuchihara somehow found the Rabit's weak points when he got hit. A side effect kinda makes sense now. We'll see next chapter how it works.
Yeah,the Tamakoma triggers are awesome! Though I guess they are too expensive to produce which is why Main branch prefers the other weapons which can be massproduced.
Kinda hope for some rivality between the Tamakoma engineers and the main branch ones.^^
@DinoTaur:
:D
! Well, Utagawa said it was a side effect. I guess the "douchiest" characters get the good abilities (like a certain Uchiha). But the most random people could have side effects, like Youtarou! The one with the capybara. His side effect, according to vol. 3, is talking to animals. Anyways, it says in the next chapter that it will focus on Kazama Unit vs. Enedora, so hopefully we'll get more information. It seems like a hearing-enhancing one, since Kikuchihara says, "it hurts my ears".
Wait, that boy really has a side effect and can talk to animals? I thought it was a joke!
@Renegadesoul:
I swear I already replied to this message…must have not clicked the post button.
Isn't it scary how Osamu can replicate an attack by only seeing it once?
Valentine Chocolates...XD
I am now imagining Chika like a backpack on Osamu's back...CHIKA BATTERY PACK! Wait...if Border can somehow replicate the process of turning members into trion cubes...just imagine the possibilities of that being a battery pack. BOOM! Enemy agenda?
I have always wondered this...does the enemy have members with side effects as well?
Well, he trained a whole lot so "seeing it once" and "practising what he saw over and over again" are a bit different. Still cool though given how he as a weak character managed to do the same as Yuuma. Sure he needed weeks of training and guidance but still, compared to his old self from the first chapters that's a great development.
Can't wait for Valentine to come in WT, hope the mangaka won't jump that time slot. XD
Maybe Chika can learn to share her trion with others kind of like in RPGs with healing hands and such?
Sure they do, if a "trion underdeveloped" nation like Border on Earth got lots people with sideeffects, nations with huge armies liek Afrokrator should have tons of them as well. At least I wouldn't be surprised about it.
@DinoTaur:
Probably. All you need is a high Trion amount.
Though it looks like you need a bit more than just a lot trion amount to get a sideeffect. Like a talent which gets enhanced through the trion and such.
@DinoTaur
Yeah, noticed that too. I like how such characters gets a show panel much earlier in the story though they don't play a part in it until much later. Feels more "real" and "alive" then new characters out of nowhere who are actually superimportant and superstrong yet we never heard or had seen them before though the whole story played in a city and such.
If this goes so on we can start with who's fastest to show when a "new named" character was actually shown first in the manga somewhere before.^^
Now about Chapter 56:
Holy moly!
! So its hard with the douchbag dude who's now sporting a ponytail, Kikusomethingsomething.
Seems he wasn't very succesfully at first in Border and that he had this sort of good hearing always. Then Kazama recruited him for his team and BAAM! Back to action which looks great!
Lots of Spike, the A-team doing, the Neighbor dude furious, house wrecked, shit happening, sideeffect using, all around nice action packed in qutie good style. This mangaka really draw a dog comedy manga before?!
! I liked how the flashbacks and explanantions got handld mid-battle, didn't felt too much at once for me but portion-wise with action bits in-between. Others might have seen it as confusing or as disrupting though.
! Enodera (that's the neighbor's name, right?) exploding in rage and spiking the house to pieces was pretty sweet, especially when he lost his head! That was cool, you could feel like this team was used with dealing with black triggers (if Enodera is one, which I do think he is expect the manga tells me otherwise), sadly though it looks like Enodera is used to enemies who are used to fight people like him.
! Instead of a call-back to his ship or his real body showing u, his decapitated head just became shadowgoe, attacked Kazama and returned to its old body as nothing had happened. The hell are they supposed to beat that kinda trion body?!?!
! I'm not exactly sure how, but somehow Enodera got Kazam really badly despite Kazama looking good before suddenly VOMITING out trion smoke and blood (???)! This is the first time we see an injured Border agent who has a trail of blood leaving his mouth and looks to be in pain! Normally they'll lose an arm or a leg or get her stomaches/heads/hearts pirced and looks shocked but Kazama looks geniuely to be in pain and normally there are no "fluids" leaving a trion body when harmed, only smoke, yet here we have both smoke and, although small, a "blood trail".
From what I see Enodera somehow got his shadow goe inside Kazama's body and attacks its very Trion core which should keep Kazama's real body safe with its spikes. Like some sort of controlled poison goe or soemthing like that.
! Which should mean that this kinda weapon of this black trigger is able to harm the real body within an enemy soldier's trion body.
Then all the spikes come out at once and Kazama gets called-back to HQ:
That's the end for this day of war for our third-strongest A-class agent!
! It ends with Kazama's underling A and Kazama's underling B (I really need to learn their names someday…) facing enodera on their own.
Either they are very good on their own without their leader or they gonna need help ASAP.
! All in all a short-feeling but with lots of explanation spicked chapter with a surprising ending. I liked it! :D
