Which arc do you think will be after w7?????
and how far is Straw Hat pirates from an arc
where there are Shichibukai???????
Future arcs…....!!!!!
-
-
Er… If I were Oda I would you the answer to this but I'm not and I don't have any clue :)
I doubt whether Oda has already planned in detail the next arc anyway... right now he must be deeply immersed in Water 7 :D -
Probably going to be an inbetween arc while they move on to the next main event. I'm guessing one of those Shichibukai posers.
-
Oh yeah, could be… where Oda starts building the climax for another main arc... such as the case of Skypiea... well, that's how I consider it actually... standing right between Alabasta and Water 7.
-
After this mega arc is finished it would probably make most sense for another small arc like "Drum, Jaya, Longring Longland" that allows us to take a breath between the mega arcs.
Aftwards I´m sure that the Doflamingo arc will start. I´m sure that this arc will include, the Marine HQ itself, a new bounty for Luffy about 400 million Beli after Doflamingo´s defeat and of course the New Pirate Era.
This is my guess that I had for a couple of month´s already and I´ll stick with it until it gets proven wrong, so no need for starting a discussion about it now. Just wanted to have it mentioned, just in case.
-
Its hard to say whats coming next, with so many subplots/loose ends to be tied up, it could be anything. We still have to see whats up with Ace/Whitebeard again, what Buggy has been up to, where Blackbeards crew, Doflamingo storyline and other stuff I'm probabley forgetting.
-
But….Water7 is over..... were not there anymore....
-
look at this
^^
my guess: A funny little arc after w7.. w7 was too intense… o-O then we'll see the doflamingo arc and maybe the crossing of red line..
-
But….Water7 is over..... were not there anymore....
Enies Lobby is just a location they are going where the finale of the arc will be. They will still go back to W7 to get a new ship, ect. so its still the same arc, they aren't going to go to a new island from Enies Lobby.
Maybe a more appropriate name for the arc would be: The CP9 arc or something like that.
-
Enies Lobby is like a block away from Water 7.
-
Well, Oda has many more plots he did not yet revealed, it may be a Dolflamigo storyline or a new fresh storyline. And Water 7 is not over, each arc don't have to be seperated by water; almost as if you say Raindinner in Alabasta have it's own arc.
I see inbetween arc as the part of the main story. -
Definately a more fluff arc for two reasons -
1. The emotional drain that Water7/Enies Lobby has and will continue to be (even though I love every second of it).
2. Time to build a bit of a bond with the new crewmember, who ever it will be, and have a good time on the new ship. Then, my guess is that they will have an arc concerning either Blackbeard or DoFlamingo/Bartholemew (I like Ivotas idea here)… I would love to see them go somewhere with one of these before too much time goes by and they are put on the back burners.
-
Also I should say that there's a good possibility of a Robin flashback/history mini-arc followed by a few volumes of W7 wrap-up and the setup for the next major arc which commences following a minor island arc.
I consider Eine's Loby just the final boss stage of W7. But this can drag way the hell out if Oda decides to launch into an Impel Down arc.
-
Thats right… Impel Down. Hm.
Well, maybe Oda will find a convenient way to delay Impel Down until a later time if this current arc gets to be too long. But, that would just be a ton of trouble to leave and come back.
Ah well, its anyone's guess now I suppose.
-
Thats right… Impel Down. Hm.
That may just show up later on in the story. Water 7 has been friggin' long already. The crew just got to Enies Lobby and I don't see any signs of this arc ending yet. The final battle most likely is coming up soon, probably after Robin's past is finally revealed.
After Water 7, I think Oda should do a light funny mini-arc (like Little Garden) staring the new crew member. After that, he should start a Doflamingo/Bartholomew Kuma mega-arc before the Straw Hats cross the Red Line.
Also, some characters last seen in Jaya should return in this 4th mega-arc, like Buggy, Smoker, Ace, and Blackbeard, or maybe even a reunion with Shanks (although, I think that'll happen after the Straw Hats cross the Red Line.)
-
We'll get to learn more about Shanks and White Beard, then maybe Buster Call, then a short arc, then definitely Red Line.
-
in know it's not my job to say so but please stop making already existing threads… it's really annoying
-
I hope the up-coming arc revolves the Mugiwara's journey to the centre of the earth since we've already got them on land, sea & air…all we need now is for them to go underground. I mean judging from Oda's likeness for creating his world based on some existing reference...journey to the centre of the earth ain't that far fetch...hehehe and we could have Luffy battling Arlong's boss (forgot his name) the shichibukai. COOL!!!
-
I hope that we will some kind of ghost ship before One Piece ends…
-
But….Water7 is over..... were not there anymore....
It's still the "water 7 arc" methinks, since they're bound to head back to water 7 after enies lobby.. Nami has to pick up her tangerine trees, there has to be a formal goodbye to Going Merry (which ofcourse didn't get destroyed by Kaku), the future of galley-la has to be decided, etc. Maybe a quick pitstop when they flee from a buster call, but still..
as to the thread: intermediate arc as a little breather, with a recap of how everyone else is doing and new bounties, then they arrive on Doflamingo's island. That's been my guess for a while, but it seems like it is everyone else's too (lol)
-
It´s the same arc plotwise, just islandwise it is different arcs. Kinda like Whiskey Peak, Little Garden and Alabasta were three different arcs islandwise but one huge arc plotwise that could be called Baroque Works Arc.
And following the same example this arc could be the CP9 Arc.
-
Or, why not just Shipwright arc? They wanted one ever snce they came back from Skypea… Then, Foxy arc, Water 7 and Eneas Lobby arc..
-
Because getting the shipwright isn´t the main plot of this arc as much as getting a cook wasn´t the main plot of the Don Krieg arc. It´s just my personal logic so nothing to that has to be true.
Btw, I would actually prefer the naming Sea Train Arc, since this was the first thing (location) that we´ve seen in this arc and I´m sure when the Strawhats set sail for their next adventures the last thing of this arc that they will see will be the Sea Train.
You know in Alabasta they went from Nanohana, over Erumalu, to Yuba, next to Rain Base, to end up at Arbabana. But it was all part of one large area = the Alabasta Island.
In Skypiea they went from Heavens Gate, to Angel Beach, to Upper Yard, where there was more locations like the Sacrificial Altar, Shandora and even Gods Place. But in the end it was all different parts of one large are = Skypiea.
And now we have Water 7 with all it´s different locations, the three other cities that we haven´t seen but where Franky has been to spent his money and Enies Lobby. Ok this area is much bigger then Alabasta and Skypiea but is all part of one large area = the Sea Train Area.
That´s why I would call them like that. But I´m since I´m sure the mayority won´t agree with me I´ll leave it either as seperated Water 7 and Enies Lobby arcs or as one large CP9 arc.
-
But did the Sea train go to Long ring island? In every major arc they always have some kind of goal, volume 11-23 their goal was to defeat BW, 23-32(?) Their goal was to go Skypea and take gold, now, 32-39+ the goal that started everything was to get a shipwright..
-
Actually, no. It was to fix Merry. Getting a shipwright was just a secondary goal.
BTW, Merry is comming back. I hope there's no confusion about that.
-

i'd say the exact opposite
BTW, Merry is comming back. I hope there's no confusion about that.
i can't see how you can still believe that.
wait are you talking about the merry go or do you think merry is gonna be the next crewmember? -
BTW, Merry is comming back. I hope there's no confusion about that.
i think the new ship the mugiwara's are going to get is a ship that franky and the galley-la shiprights are going to build. franky then decides to join to take care of the ship. or…franky and robin resurrect the ultimate weapon (apparently its a ship) and then the blueprints get destroyed by franky and so does the ship. franky then decides to build the ship again off of memory (and without the mass destruction weapons) and the straw hats take that ship with franky taking care of it with them.

Longring Longland is not part of this arc. Every mega arc has some kind of prepration arc before we get to the big part. Alabasta had Drum (basically it was a break in the BW arc), Skypiea had Jaya and Water 7 had Longring Longland.
The short preparation arc are needed because they let us and the Strawhats take a breath before the next big thing starts. Imagine if they went from Alabasta to Skypiea and then to Water 7 without a break within. It would have been too much for everyone without giving us time to lean back because it would have appeared to rash. Plus the side preparation arcs are needed to show us what other character´s are doing meanwhile or to meet even knew ones. In Drum we heard about the Blackbeard Pirates. In Jaya we met them and found saw even the Gorousei, Doflamingo, Kuma, Whitebeard, Rockstar and Sengoku and in Longring Longland we saw Aokiji and heard about Akainu and Kizaru.
Plus all of these arcs have all their own antagonists in Wapol, Bellamy and Foxy. They are definitely seperate arcs but they prepare the reader for the next big thing.
-
BTW, Merry is comming back. I hope there's no confusion about that.
No it's not ever going to come back.
-
using straw-hat's new ship to take over an ocean and create an army of 10 million with the orginal strawhats as general
-
lets see, they are arcs that happened on land, there was an arc about sky island, who knows there might be an underwater city–arc kinda like atlantis...water seven isnt submerged deep in water so its gonna be different.
But I just dont know whats gonna happen next...Oda=mystery
-
Well I for one still am intrigued by the plot element dropped in about the Pirates' Summit. I'm thinking that might be the next arc, which leads into the Donflamingo arc.
But again, who knows but Oda? -
Well I for one still am intrigued by the plot element dropped in about the Pirates' Summit.
It's Been explained before, when translated it was meant as Summit like the top of a mountain, he was saying that he would like to see Luffy at the level White beard and him are at. Not as a summit as in "come join us for the annual pirates summit this summer" just thought I would let you know of that, as for future arcs, I am hoping Blackbeard, it seemed to be kinda building up before skypia.
-
Maybe they'll go to Pucchi, the Gourmet Town. I'm sure Sanji would have a blast there. Definitly something with Donflamingo, maybe they'll arrive at his island. I wonder when the pirate summit is gonna be.
-
If I were Oda, I'd go after one of the following:
A little arc that leads them to a bigger arc that brings them to the next arc which will focus on fights with:
Donquixote Doflamingo and Bartholemew Bear
or
Black Beard and his team
Not to offend, but I'd like to see another member of the Shicibukai takem down… Even though that will be a little hardardess considering Luffy's will go up is he takes down one of em... But then again, I'd like to see other characters take down a member
Example: We all know Zoro will beat Mihawk some day... Why not let another one of Luffy's crew members have a Shicibukai member to defeat and get a bounty on their heads too, instead of watching Luffy's continue to sky Rocket (I'd like to see Luffy defeat Doflamingo and Black beard though, his bounty would go up and then we would not need to worry about his bounty for awhile)
So far, I could see Chopper and Bartholemew Bear duke it out...
Oh, and I'd like to see more on Shanks and Ace... see how they're doing
-
I think that after the Water 7 Arc, The next arc is going to be about the Straw Hat crew looking for a musician in which they would also run in Blackbeard & Ace.
-
Example: We all know Zoro will beat Mihawk some day… Why not let another one of Luffy's crew members have a Shicibukai member to defeat and get a bounty on their heads too, instead of watching Luffy's continue to sky Rocket (I'd like to see Luffy defeat Doflamingo and Black beard though, his bounty would go up and then we would not need to worry about his bounty for awhile)
doingThey cant do that because Luffy is the strongest on the team hands down and unless they introduce an enemy thats weak against only one Strawhat member like Zoros swords skills again (like cutting steel) making a secondary crew member beat a Shicibukai by themself will make that Shicibukai member look like a chump IMO (unless thats what Oda wanted of course).
Then again if they fight more then one Shicibukai member at a time then they will distribute fighters acordingly. So I dont want too see that fight just yet….. but then again who else is there too fight its too early for White beard and weve done marines, hmmmm?
-
next would be a little arc about elbaf island.
-
this thread has been made more times than my bed in the last year, why didn't the thread starter just do a search?
-

franky and robin each of them is the key to different ancient weapon
franky = pluton
robin = poseidon and some other ancient weapons since she is the only one who can read those writings -

Uhm…..correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Donquixote Doflamingo the most powerful pirate in the world? It's a little early on in the series (if, as oda says, we're around the halfway point) to take on the world's strongest dude
-

White beard is the strongest pirate in the world isnt he? Anyways they should fight more pirates before fighting any types of marines again (including Pirates working with them), Blackbeard will want there heads even more now that there bounty is sure to raise again.
-
that will be interesting, a battle with the black beard pirates and during the middle of the battle Ace showed up and burn black beard to crisp
-
Well I really can't imagine how Luffy could beat Doflamingo (except for maybe by a loophole or something) so I think Zoro might fight him because I can defenetly think of ways for him to win. For example Zoro has pretty much complete and utter control of his body right? So maybe he can just force Doflamingo out of him in a fight of wills. Or he could drug himself so Doflamingo wouldn't be able to handle the body because it's so out of control, but Zoro himself would have enough strenghth/will so then it becomes a fight of how long can Zoro last under the influences of the drug and can he overcome it enough to take on Doflamingo. Menawhile Luffy could be out doing something else liking fighting Black or White Beard (the latter probably impossible, but who says he's gotta win? Maybe Ace will decide his brother's more important than the greatest man in the world. Is it likely? No) or Shanks or a stronger Shichibukai (not Mihawk more like Jinbei or a new one).
-
the power of doflamingo can control body but not mind
it's not really like ms golden week power
probably u will just need more will to keep control of your body, or just fight him in group since i notice with belamy scene, doflamingo can only control one person -
I always thought it would be funny if T.T.Chopper would be the one too defeats him because maybe doflamingos powers only controls other humans and Choppa just by staying in reindeer mode can kick his ass…..just a thought.....
-
I'm thinking after Water 7 and Enies Lobby Luffy might tell Robin that he owes him and his crew an explanation and maybe there will be a few episodes about Robin when she was a child and when she originally earned her 79,000,000 beli bounty. Who knows though, maybe something like that will happen during while they're at Enies Lobby. Luffy will tell Robin that they're nakama and that there's nothing she should hide from them.
-
Donflamingo will probably control Luffy the entire time and this will be the point of his arc. I'm guessing Donflamingo earned a reputation of being such a ruthless pirate (I mean, a 340,000,000 Beli bounty!) when he was the captain of his crew by controlling the captain of every crew he encountered (I mean the captain's supposed to be the strongest, right) and making him kill his entire crew. He probably then made the captain kill himself.
-

While maybe unlikely as it would be out of character, i would love to see Chopper take down some high-powered guy. He's mostly been left with the small fries in the long run, or at least nobody that Luffy couldn't beat pretty easily. Seeing him take on a guy with Luffy-level strength would be impressive, and probably a big step for the little guy.
Also, i get the feeling that while Going Merry is indeed broken, the Franky Family/Gally La will build the strawhats a new ship. When they're nearly done, Usopp will appear with the salvaged sheep's head from G.M., which he'll ask to have attached as the figurehead. Or maybe he'll nail it on himself, complete with a crappy and obvious repair job (like with the Going Merry's mast after Skypiea

Another small arc after the Water 7 arc. However, I don't think that Doflamingo's arc is going to happen after the small arc after Water 7. It's still to early for that. This is what I think.
Paulie or Franky is the new crewmate of the Straw Hats. The Straw Hats sails towards the next island that the log directs them on their new ship which might be Going Merry 2 or something that relates with the Going Merry. The next island they go to would probably be a Fall type island since the SH crew already went to Summer,Spring, and Winter islands. On the island, the SH crew are going to search for a musician to join their crew. The person that appear to be their new musician crewmate is going to be a girl that could sing & play any instruments very well. Plus, she going to be half of a merman. Her mother is going to be a human & her father as a merman.
I'll explain more on what I think is going to happen in the future later on.
