A thought occurs to me, and I ought to put the theory out there before spoilers come out. I wonder if the point Luffy will have to drive home in this scuffle is that Jinbe shouldn't take everything upon himself. The scenario seems rather similar to how Vivi tried to carry the burden of responsibility. Jinbe's been all about sacrificing himself to accomplish goals higher than himself, so maybe what Luffy has to knock into him is that he doesn't have to go it alone all the time. I dunno, I may be off the mark, but I wanted to say it now before I regret it.
